Sanitary facilities excellent, close to monastery and beautiful forest, pitches small and under trees, wifi poor

The many seasonal pitches make it a bit lacking in atmosphere, sanitary facilities excellent, beautiful little river running through the campsite. Cumbersome, time-consuming check-in.

What a beautiful place to stand here, so much to see

In practice, you get a spot at the front near the reception; these are not nice spots like the ones in the photo on the field.

Everything by the waterside has been dismantled now; it is not attractive at the moment, so we have gone to the neighboring campsite.

Large, beautifully situated campsite; we paid the equivalent of €55.50 including electricity. Contrary to what is stated in a review, you can just go here without a reservation. Camp shop very expensive, 3.80 pounds for two croissants. Tip: cycle to the starting point of the waterfall hike.

Atmospheric campsite, very good reception and very helpful. Beautiful view and there is something to see all day long.

Neat campsite, very spacious pitches, good sanitary facilities. No good public transport to Edinburgh. However, we paid the equivalent of €65! for one night in the camper, two people, and electricity. Our most expensive campsite to date, and that with no to poor Wi-Fi.
