A large campsite with both trees and open fields. Everything is very well maintained. New sanitary building. We had a pleasant stay here.

The location on the island is worth 5 stars. Shopping facilities are plentiful in the village. The sanitary facilities are disappointing: old and worn out. It seems as if nothing has been renovated since the 1970s. With one exception: the chemical toilet emptying facility seems new and is perfect! I would remove the trash cans by the tree on the campsite and put them at the entrance. A perfectly normal place on a campsite.

Back at this campsite after a few years. Since then, the campsite has not improved. The sanitary facilities have seen better days. You almost need to ask for a hiking map just to visit the sanitary building: it is not centrally located at all. If there is a wastewater disposal point, I couldn't find it. The view of the Loire and Beaugency remains just as beautiful.

Suitable as a transit campsite but certainly also for a longer stay. Cycle routes along the Charente right next door. The campsite is constantly being renovated; the sanitary building has been renewed. Spacious swimming pool. Restaurant available. Spacious pitches both under trees and in the sun.

Friendly reception in the restaurant. Beautiful location. Few power outlets, so sufficient cable length is required. No water points on the grounds: go to the sanitary building for water. Sanitary facilities are clean, but old. New cycle/footpath to the charming town of Aguilar de Campoo... the grass could use a mowing too.

Quiet place with necessary amenities and a beautiful view. Within walking distance of the village. Bakery, butcher, and small supermarket available.

Completely worth the 5 stars. Extremely well-maintained. Small remark: 4 basins for textiles and 1 for dishes. That distribution is incorrect.

If we could hand out more stars, they would get them: excellent camper park. Artificial grass right outside the door: no walking in. Large playground for the little ones. Sanitary facilities as they should be. Two professional washer/dryer machines. Multiple grey water/chemical toilet disposal points across the site. A modest swimming pool that is almost finished. We were there in early June. Many permanent pitches—especially in July and August there are many visitors—but now enough room for passing campers. Excellent sanitary facilities. We had a nice time cycling there.
