Friendly welcome, all amenities available. For us, a wonderful place to fish and go cycling. We will definitely be back.

Great location, it's busy here, but we weren't bothered by it much. We were also here in the spring. Appelscha, like many other places in the Netherlands, has many cycling and hiking trails. We'll definitely come back sometime to relax.

Wonderful place to stay, wonderfully relaxing. We stayed 2 nights. Bought some local produce . Service was top notch. In expected severe weather with hailstones, among other things, we were offered shelter for the camper in the shed., have also made use of it. Fortunately it worked out. We will gladly come back. We were received very hospitably, sent an email the night before, received an almost immediate answer that we were welcome. Enjoyed the peace and surroundings. The city can be reached quickly by bike via a cycling route along From Starkenborgh Canal. You enter the city at Reitdiep harbour, where there is a shopping center. Aduard is also a spupermarkt (15min by bike). We will definitely come back. Living in the middle of nature, what more could you want. Harry and Marian.
