Only superlatives for this fantastic place! Everything breathes history and authenticity. The elderly couple keeps everything neat and tidy. The river and the old mill, the "island" with its shady trees, the flowers and the well-kept lawn... The garbage bins with a plastic container next to them for sorting. Super sweet people who, despite their old age, are proud of their piece of paradise! And rightly so!

the photo with the Adria was NOT taken at this location.

Despite its location next to a track / bridge, I slept peacefully next to k the canal. Facilities when driving out (making a loop). No electro. Beautiful (walking) park nearby, playgrounds, mini golf, ... . Good stopover.

2 Official motorhome pitches (if not occupied by castle visitors during busy holiday weekends). Not suitable for higher campers due to overhanging branches. Parking is big enough though.

The unpaved part of the photos is still existing but not "inviting" ("sense of security"), despite the fantastic visibility. Wooden poles are currently being placed in the ground on the beautiful (grass) section, making parking there impossible. At the end of a dead end street is a small quiet campsite. If you can get a place there on the waterfront I wouldn't hesitate.
