Everything is professionally laid out and very well maintained. The sanitary facilities are very nice and clean. There is a nice sitting area in the sanitary building with a lot of information about the area. We did not use the sandwich service. We give four stars instead of five because we regret that you have to pay extra for showering, which could be included in the price. The system with the card and reimbursement worked well.

Pleasant telephone contact with owner Marco. We were the only ones staying at the campsite so it was wonderfully quiet, and in any case the area around the camper place is wonderfully quiet. The sanitary facilities are complete and clean. We arrived late and left early and a cheaper 'transit rate' applies. Recommended!

Nice camper place at a small-scale farm with veal calves. Very friendly owner invited us into the stable and told us about the farm. The site was well cared for and easily accessible thanks to road plates. Shower and toilet basic but nicely heated. Nice extras such as an outdoor room with wood stove, bookcases, kitchenette with microwave and toaster, sale of fresh eggs and various trinkets. Recommended!

Nice camper place! Wonderfully quiet on a dead end road and you don't hear the A50 traffic. The sanitary facilities are clean and heated in the morning and evening. The terrain was very wet but easily passable thanks to extra ramps. Dogs are welcome (on a leash) and there is a dog playing field. Reservations were not necessary (perhaps in high season) and payment can be made in cash, via QR code or tikkie. Very relaxed, definitely recommended!

What a great discovery! Very warm welcome by the lovely owners, with coffee and tea. The camping has only just opened so all facilities brand new and spotless too! We are pretty sure the owners will keep it this clean as they are very committed. Felt very homely. The camping spots were brilliant. There is ample space so it will never feel crowded even at full capacity (15 campers). Great nature in the direct area. We will definitely go back here!

Nice and quiet parking place at the start of various walking trails. Serviced regularly. Reasonably clean flush toilets with toilet paper, soap and water tap, and the possibility to fill up your drinking water jerry cans. Large garbage bin. There are many more waterfalls than just the one close by the parking area. Area seems nice to explore, however we were travelling homeward so did not have time. We just spent a nice and relaxing night here.

After reading the reviews about this camping we decided to make a detour and go there. Upon arrival we couldn’t understand what the previous reviews were based on. It’s just a plot of land cramped in between town and large parking lot of sports facilities. Didn’t have a nature feel at all. Sanitary facilities seemed temporary unit. Campers and tents were packed directly next to each other. Decided to stay at the P of Kvarnfallet, which was great!

Nice out of the way small-scale campsite. Friendly owner who also offers guided tours in the area. She also organises campfire get-togethers, which is a nice way to get to know your fellow campers, if you feel like it. Kitchen (fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery etc!) and sanitary block are a little rustic, and will be updated as we understand. Lots of information/booklets about the area to be found here too. We will get back! Recommended!

Warm reception by Dutch owners. Friendly atmosphere. Facilities brand new and spotless. The camp sites have a beautiful view and we could hear the river in the distance. Lovely pond with sup boards to use. The surrounding woodlands are nicely varied (different compared to other parts of Sweden). Would have loved to stay longer to explore! It’s a shame to use this lovely camping only as a stopover, do stay longer than one night! Highly recommend!

We fully agree with the previous reviewers! Came here after visiting the busy Geiringerfjord and enjoyed the quiet and relaxed atmosphere here. Facilities are all nice and spotless. The best shower so far!

Next to fairly busy road, no facilities. It is the starting point for nice walks to Bremsneshola cave (take a head light with you, so you can climb the ladder to discover the 2nd chamber once in the cave!) and up the hill for a great view. We stayed on a quieter spot across the road, on a concrete area; follow the sign for Bremsnes church. Nice alternative for Parking Averøy, where we had an unpleasant encounter with German lady shouting at us.

Not everyone’s willing to share this beautiful view. Place seemed full upon arrival but friendly man offered to make room for our small camper. The other neighbour however, started yelling at us in German about keeping at least 4m distance (which she did not keep to her neighbours). Decided to move on. Stayed across the road from Bremsnes Holen Parking, from where you find nice walks to cave and up the hill; just follow sign for Bremsnes church

Not suited for large campers. Orchard very scenic but sloped almost everywhere. Your ordinary levelling blocks will probably not fix this. There are level spots up near vegetable garden (less scenic). As it was very quiet we found a level spot in the orchard next to an (yet) unused small cabin. Friendly owners. We bought some home grown organic apple juice and lettuce. That turned out to be just as expensive as the camping fee for one night.

Parking area near beautiful string of waterfalls. Just follow the trail up along the waterfalls up to a bridge. The upper waterfall is by far the most impressive. Toilet is a long drop in a ventilated wood cabin. Very little smell, the floor was dry and clean, plenty of toilet paper, just don’t look into the hole if you’re disgusted by this type of toilets 😃. It was a popular spot, there’s limited places for 4-6 camper vans.

If you want to phone ahead use number 0047-90527133. The number listed in the Camper Contact app belongs to another company; they’re trying to sort this. Camping is on an open field. Washing-up area is in place; only with cold water and outside. We agree with previous reviews. Nice place to spend the night for a stopover close to Kristiansand / ferry.

Garden of a working farm. Grounds partly sloped, partly flat. Not much privacy but enough room for the 6 camper vans they supposedly allow (4 were present now). €20 per night. One good shower and one toilet (both in one room). Equipped washing up and cooking facilities. Just drive up there and the owner will come and meet you (no phone number). View was very nice over large fields. The nearby highway is out of sight but audible. Nice stopover!

Stayed here in December 2022 with a few degrees of frost. Owner indicated that the water pipe in the toilet was frozen, but had already fixed it an hour after our arrival. Nice hot shower for € 0.50 per 5 min. In the information house you can find everything about the area and fresh gingerbread was waiting for us. There are 16 camper pitches and if they are all occupied, there is less privacy, but you can expect that from a camper pitch.

The price mentioned is not correct! We stayed 1 night (26-8-21) with 2 persons and paid €26,80. Pitches not spacious as expected. Tents, camper vans and houses all cramped in this small property. Ablutions clean but for this amount you would expect toilet paper and soap. Probably we paid for the facilities children and families use, up front we did not understand from the reviews this is a place for families. For couples there are better options!

We used this camping as a stop over for one night (23 August ‘21). Grassy spots for campers with electricity. Don’t understand previous comment about place being overgrown: our MB Sprinter campervan did not have any problem entering the property. Check-in possible between 9-12.30h & 15-20h. Basic but adequate ablutions. Very friendly owners. The lady speaks English. They have run the camping for 30 years and are looking to sell the property.

What a great find! The owner is clearly doing this because he likes it, not for the money. Everything is very complete (better than most large campsites) made with love and attention and super clean. We were unlucky that the wind direction changed, causing smoke from the combustion further on in the meadow to come our way. Lots of smoke inside so didn't sleep very well. The sight of curious cows in the morning made up for that 😃

Large campsite with many families, very busy in the low season (mid Sept). There are no pitches directly on the lake and the site is not in the park as indicated. Sanitary and washing facilities are neat and clean. We did not use cooking and seating facilities. Friendly owners, sandwich service ok. The shower costs SEK 5. Nothing to criticize, but no camping for us (couple without children), hence only 3 stars.

All facilities are neatly maintained and very clean. The huts with firepits on the river (for algae use) are very nice, but if the campsite is full, you will not all be able to use them. There was also a nice large communal "conservatory-like" room. The campsite is located in a very beautiful area where you can enjoy yourself endlessly. The owner works hard to keep everything tidy, helped us with the laundry and gave nice tips.

Very friendly reception. The pitches are somewhat unimaginative (no tree to be seen) on staggered lawns. There is a view of a lake at the front. Extensive amenities such as a heated kitchen with seating and a restaurant (which closes early on Sundays). Everything very neat and clean, extra hand soap everywhere because of Covid. There is a communal changing room for the shower, but there are separate shower 'cubicles' (with curtains).

We stayed here in mid-September. Mainly permanent residents. You are clearly paying for the beach location: this site was by far the most expensive and with the fewest amenities on our 3-week tour. And the toilet and shower that were still open (most already closed due to the end of season) were old and clearly not cleaned. We paid SEK 290 for an overnight stay, SEK 30 for electricity and SEK 10 pp for the shower. Not recommended.

We stayed here in mid-September. There are places by the sea or more sheltered a little further away on a lawn. No partitions between the places. The plumbing could clearly use more tlc but was fairly clean. Thanks to the very friendly owner we give 4 stars otherwise we would have given 3. By the way, no more CKE.

Cozy messy affair. A number of places are nicely protected. The facilities are old but clean. Rate has apparently been adjusted: SEK 250 per night for 2 pers. That does include electricity, hot water, use of bicycles and rowing boat. A contribution is asked for the wood, usually for 2x wood is SEK 40. The water contains iron but is filtered so it is drinkable (not done).

Great family campsite. The camper pitches are a 100m walk from the beach. The pitches are right next to each other on a lawn, so you don't have much privacy. At the end of August it was very quiet, so we could stand with enough space in between. Toilets, showers, cooking and washing up facilities all very spacious, neat and clean. Friendly welcome and delicious fresh sandwiches!

Very friendly Swedish owner. At the beginning of September it was very quiet, so we had an entire field to ourselves. In the high season you will have less privacy. Toilets, showers and washing-up facilities are nice and clean. Hobs even with cooking utensils were also provided. A very well maintained and pleasant campsite. Recommended!

Perfect, popular place to spend the night in transit. At the end of August we were here with 7 campers / caravans. No inconvenience from each other, but that is of course no guarantee. The main road next to it is quiet at night. Toilets are clean and well maintained. There are several picnic tables in the adjacent apple orchard. Nice short walk possible in the grounds next to it. Recommended!
