Beautiful CP right on the sea. Walk to the lighthouse at low tide to spot seals. Mixed parking, max. 72 hours and sleeping is not allowed. Stay awake! Busy with walkers during the day.

Nice spacious free mixed parking almost in the center of this beautiful town. Marie, queen of Scotlandhouse, jail and castle, all interesting and free. Beautiful abbey ruin, not free. Paid toilets but very clean.

Nice and spacious CP in nice place next to forest and arboretum. No picnic benches seen and no amenities. Fairly sloping places. VERY busy in the evening with hikers and mountain bikers. Crowds remain until it gets dark. Very quiet at night but in the morning the walkers arrive early.

Neat parking space with snack kiosk and toilet but not always open. Nice waterfall nearby. The price has been changed to £ 3 per day. 700 meters up you stand for free.

Nice and quiet place in the middle of the forest. Parking for beautiful nature walks along a fantastic waterfall. We even saw salmon jumping against the waterfall. The CP itself was quite muddy and there is nothing else.

Great place. Free. On the river and lake. On the other side of the bridge a spruce and butcher. A bit dated but clean toilet block (open all day and night) with cold and hot water. Across the road at the Hub leisure center there is a possibility to shower for £ 3.

Beautiful place with a sea view. You can go to the beach via a narrow path. Just toilet block. Very narrow access road, no large campers. Terrain with gravel but also grass.

Nice place within walking distance of the center. Nice owner. Nice lawn with picnic benches but because it was raining we did not stand there. Too soggy. On the paved part it is a bit messy but very quiet everywhere.

Very good place to spend the night. Quiet, clean and more than sufficient space. No facilities but a large picnic area right next to the CP. Toilet building close by, clean and nice. Very close to the center of this beautiful town. Free if you arrive after 6:30 pm and leave by 9:00 am. Recommended!

Nice place almost on a river and near a beautiful park. There is also a track where many trains run. Sometimes at night too. No facilities but a large supermarket very close. There you can use the toilet and do your shopping without any problems. Make sure you leave on time in the morning (see sign) otherwise a fine will follow. In the town is the largest cathedral in all of England. Walking distance.

Nice place by the water. It's along the street. And probably not an official CP but there were many more campers. No facilities, but there is a public toilet nearby. Free, quiet and close to the ferry.

Beautiful place on a lake with lots of greenery in the parking lot. Near the station and a Lidl supermarket. It is a shame that young people regularly stood in cars drinking beer and with loud music in this parking lot, even on the camper pitches. This felt unsafe and we didn't stay there for the night.

Great place to stay in the middle of the center. During the day the parking lot is full but at night almost completely empty and nice and quiet.

Nice and spacious place next to the lake. A swimming beach is also there. More than enough space, there are also cars and boats. Note the price: the € 5.00 applies per calendar day. A night costs € 10.00. That doesn't feel entirely fair.

Been here but the CP could not be found. So I left again.

Great overnight stay but not very cozy. Gigantic. Very close to downtown and next to the bus station with buses in all directions. There is also a train station. Rate was € 5.00 per day (until 6:00 AM morning) Provisional toilet available. There is a better toilet in the bus station.

Very beautiful castle on top of the mountain. However, due to road works (July 2019), the motorhome spot was unreachable. So we have not been there.

Great quiet place on the river Werra and on the edge of the village. Toilet at the museum, open until 7 p.m. Visit the workshop of walking sticks, nice to see. Museum too. Many cycling routes and walks possible.

Great location, very large and very quiet when we were there. Can sometimes be very busy with day visitors and especially aimed at children. Lots of animals to see and climb and jump things. Biergarten and restaurant. For 4euro pd but you have to be gone before 12:00.

Probably lifted. Is only parking space for € 2.00.

Great quiet place. Key toilet at gas pump on main road, about 500 meters from here. 2 euros per night, 20 euros deposit.
