Perfect spot for boat departures. But that's about it. As usual in Iceland, there's no supervision, and parking is random. What could happen in case of fire or something? Registration? Very doubtful!

Well, you have to experience the most in Iceland. This campsite seems to be one of them! Neat, but very mediocre in every way. The terrain is good. The village is nothing special, with a small shop that's closed on weekends and Wednesdays. โ‚ฌ40 for 2 people per person and an additional 400 kr for a shower. The dreary weather does play a slight role in the rating.

A polite welcome; few restrooms; the village itself uninteresting. And, as usual in Iceland, a bit of a mess when parking and entering. But that last point is part of the campsite. I just hope that beautiful Iceland isn't just about the money.

A huge campsite, but perfect. Beautiful hiking trails and excellent facilities. After many campsites in Iceland, this one deserves a crown! Beautiful, spacious pitches!

The campsite is neat. The sanitary facilities are excellent. It's close to a village with a large shopping center. Unfortunately, there's an uncontrolled group of campers who crisscross around looking for a spot between 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM. It seems like no one knows who's coming and when. We camped for three days at a well-chosen spot.

Drama! Although 1 star from a Dutch perspective and 2.5 from an Icelandic perspective, but also far below par for Iceland. Cleaning - Maintenance - Guest area + Price โ‚ฌ41 (campervan/2 people) - dreadful

Great campsite for exploring the city. Friendly and well-organized. Booking online is very easy. And expensive? A city campsite costs a few euros more! Logical, and advice: drink one beer less.

Reviewed a locationโ€”7 months ago

Sitecode: 106163

Minimal! The campsite was actually already closed because the Icelanders are back at work (and what about the tourists?). The swimming pool (with free running hot water) is the same. Sad! But as a reward, โ‚ฌ40 (2 person campervan)! If there were no irritation, then 2.5 stars because the view of a slightly sloping lawn is beautiful.

Without a doubt, a lovely place to spend a few days. It's sheltered and has a pleasant setting. The village isn't impressive but is worth a visit. The manager is only interested in getting the money. The cleaning is substandard. The shower/toilet is fine but not clean. In short: above average.

Nice field to camp on! Nice swimming pool next to it (โ‚ฌ7.00). Showers (2x) were fine but very dirty. The cleaning really leaves a lot to be desired. The village is really nothing special. Shops and museums. We paid โ‚ฌ35.00 (campervan/2 people). Perfect for flushing.

Well, that's a bit tricky: Clean sanitary facilities (2 showers!!). People squeeze into a spot until late at night. Almost every square meter is "rented out"โ€”no supervision, but there's a ticket office. Close to the charming town center. In short: a great place to stay to visit Husavik for whale watching.

Large campsite that provides reception after the boat arrives (approx. 30 km). Quite expensive (โ‚ฌ45) but spacious. Sanitary facilities are adequate but not clean. Many young people are passing through. Reception is available and friendly. Living room with cooking facilities.

A week at this campsite! Excellent accommodations where you can enjoy a warm meal, drinks, or read. We've done many day trips from this central location. The manager was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Plenty of room for a campervan and a tent (on the lawn). Just perfect!
