Great camper spot, but be careful if you cycle to the center of Modena. Our electric folding bike was stolen. Make sure you have two good locks and secure the bike to something. Or perhaps even better: take the bus to the city.

A very friendly welcome. We were parked right by the lake with a handful of campers. Very rustic. You can enjoy swimming and canoeing in the lake. In the evening, the moon illuminated the lake; silence except for the call of the owls. The poplars were in bloom and made it snow. We were there the last week of April with cold nights and a fresh breeze, and were not bothered by mosquitoes. The swimming pool and the jacuzzi were already open. The sanitary facilities are fine, with a hot shower.
