A friendly welcome and the chance to choose our own pitch. Pitches right on the coast are a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it. Good facilities with a good and cozy restaurant, good showers (although it can take a while for hot water). The pitches are secluded and spacious. It's recommended to follow the cycling routes using Google Maps, as the signage leaves much to be desired.

This wasn't the welcome we're used to (we've been coming to France for 35 years). We didn't feel welcome. We had reserved a pitch for two nights, but they didn't offer to help us choose our own, even though there wasn't a single campervan or caravan there! The restaurant was closed, and we couldn't order bread. Chairs were stacked in the restrooms. We left after one night. An email requesting a refund was never responded to.

what a beautifully situated campsite! The grounds and facilities are very well maintained, clean and tidy. We had a beautiful spot on the water. Many opportunities for cycling and walking. Joyce (owner) is very friendly, helpful and has good tips to explore the area. Tip: try the delicious water buffalo burger! we will definitely come back here!

Quietly situated campsite, on a well-maintained grassy area. It is close to the water and we could choose our own spot. A very friendly, hospitable Dutch Simone welcomed us enthusiastically. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. There are more than enough showers and toilets. Showering costs 20 NOK for 5 minutes. We stayed there for 1 night on our way to Kristiansand and would definitely come back here again.

Very friendly welcome by the owner who enthusiastically wants to show his museum. The whole is a bit dated, but the facilities are fine! No coins needed for the shower, a small kitchen that has all the facilities. We enjoyed the view and the peace on the campsite!

What a great campsite that is quietly situated and has a beautiful view. There are beautiful walking and cycling routes. Owners are very friendly. Because we were there in May, there were no fresh rolls, but because we had read that there were delicious pizzas, the restaurant was opened especially for us! What a service and what a beautiful restaurant. Beautiful and clean sanitary facilities and good kitchen. We will definitely come back here!

Very well maintained campsite with many and beautiful facilities and beautiful views. We even saw a few avalanches (at a safe distance) Showering for 5 minutes costs 20 kr and is done with a special coin. Because it is located in a gorge, it can get quite cold in the evening, but that is also because we were there in May. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful cycle route from the campsite over a small road.

camping is beautifully situated and offers many opportunities for walking and cycling. A restaurant where you can eat well. Beautiful kitchen with many facilities. Due to the strong wind we were quite chilly, but that is also because we were early in the season.
