Just rocked up and fortunately there was a spot . Such a lovely site and Tony the owner was very welcoming. Definitely a good stop over. All the amenities were top notch. Loved all the nicnacs in the washroom. Just a lovely touch.

Plenty of space when any car day visitors go. Quiet park up. Beautiful lake a short walk / bike away. Amazing bird life around if you like that. First thing in the morning the communal bin bag was replaced. Wouldn’t get that in the UK Definitely use it as a stopover again.

A pleasant stop over which was very quiet .A bit antiquated and over priced to be honest. Easy reach of the cycle way.

Great site. Spacious / flat . Definitely better than staying near the harbour if you are catching a ferry.

A bit of a field next to a busy road. Looks like the camper sign had been on the ground for ages. Couldn’t find the so called mail box to pay .Definitely NOT worth the amount. The plus side is a lovely walk down the cycle track by the river/ lake. wouldn’t bother again.

A fabulous site and a friendly welcome. The owner gave us really useful maps of the north and south of the island ( to keep). He even gave us a butter knife - a lovely addition to the camper. Definitely recommend it for 1/2 nights .

This site is very good, spacious plots. Reception excellent. Toilets fine, hot showers .Realy not sure why previous negative comments for this place. Would definitely use it again.

so looks like this place does not exist. don’t go looking as road is very tight and turning a motor home was nearly impossible.

saw the New year in here. only 3 vans parked up. plenty of space. fab views of the moors and the sea. can be very windy.

This is an okay site. Yep some sloping slots ,but at this time of year it’s okay. Not far from a lovely promenade. It’s fine for an overnight .

Lovely site, not too far from town. Marc ( owner) was very helpful and provided us with different cycling routes around the area. The only down side was the entrance off the road into the field. A couple of bags of stone would stop deep holes appearing - not great for low slung vans.

Good for a one night stopover. Very noisy in the morning with the traffic. Only a 10 min walk into town.

End of season and still very pleasant. Restaurant was still open and the owners of the site were really welcoming.

stayed on the overflow carpark ( well think it was). okay site - little info re showers and the payment machine charged me 2 days when I put in for 1 day !!!!

lovely site, quiet as near end of season. Great Lake to swim in. the down side is that it is expensive. the ad does not take in to account- showers / electricity etc.

Good site. The sound of cow bells drowns out the buzzing of the wires. Lovely trail run/ ride nearby. would use again.

The carpark is full of cars during the day.Mid evening is okay. 400m further on is a large carpark free with motor homes parked up.

lovely site / lots of space, although some vans taking up two slots !!get there early as fills up quickly.

quiet spot next to a lovely cycle path. would recommend it .

great site, lovely walks and village get there before 6 pm is the best advice it was full by 7 pm.

good place - felt safe with other vans around . But do keep everything locked. Easy access to the town.

It was okay. Very quiet. Lovely old town by the river and for us there was a wine festival on. There were big parking slots. Not scenic but as an overnight stop it’s okay and free.

Great site, fabulous views . Very friendly welcome. Will definitely be visiting again.
