Camping looks chaotic if you like demarcated pitches. There are tents, caravans, and campers, but also "permanent pitches" occupied by what appear to be "working nomads." They don't seem to be there for peace and quiet, and they communicate loudly with each other. Sanitary facilities are adequate, but creatively designed. We couldn't book just one night, but we could book a day and a half. We stayed two nights to explore Deventer and the surrounding area; the third star is for the location.

Great campsite, friendly welcome. There are several pitches. Electricity is optional. Organic products (meat, vegetables, eggs) are available for purchase, with self-payment. In the evening, tent campers arrive even though the campsite is actually full. They still get a spot, which is great! The sanitary facilities are clean, despite the crowds. They are well-maintained by both the managers and guests. Great for kids too!

Perfect for an overnight stay. All amenities are in order.

Absolutely fine!

A very quiet and well-maintained campsite. Everything is perfectly organized. You can rent a sort of "living room," for example, if you're traveling with several campers and the group is too large for one camper and the weather is too bad to sit outside. We didn't find the surroundings particularly inspiring, but perhaps we didn't follow the correct cycling route? Either way, it's recommended if you enjoy peace and quiet. We didn't see any deer, but we did see a lot of migrant birds, but that's typical of the season.

A very nice campsite, run by volunteers. Friendly atmosphere. Excellent sanitary facilities, modern and clean. The church and Domies Toen are beautiful, and the Wadden Centre (check opening hours) is also highly recommended. The little restaurant Bertje Jens (next to the campsite) has a lovely tea garden and vegetarian menu, currently only open on Saturdays and Sundays. There are also plenty of other restaurants and cafes. Cycling and walking in the area is beautiful!

Great CP, everything is there, except grey water drainage. If you don't need electricity you can stand at the water with a view of the IJssel. Hattem is nice for a visit.
Sitecode: 86974
Friendly welcome. The campsite is simple. You stand on grass. The sanitary facilities are modern and super clean. Right next to the campsite is a CP. It was full. We paid โฌ29 for 2 people without electricity. You also have to pay for showering, which will be settled upon your departure.

Very nice, clean and leafy campsite near Dijon. Friendly staff. We could no longer make a reservation for an overnight stay on the day of arrival, but we were advised to come anyway, probably there was a place, also because we do not need electricity. We stood on a spacious place on grass and paid โฌ 13.40 per night for 2 people. You can cycle to the city in 10 minutes. Halfway there is a nice terrace. Do it!
Sitecode: 73905
Lovely quiet campsite! Almost no fixed places. All spaciously laid out. We stood next to the vines downstairs. Sanitary facilities are new and clean. Nice cycling in the area. Bread service and when the bar is open also delicious wine from their own grapes. Dutch and excellent English are spoken. We paid โฌ 64.56 for 2 people, 3 nights, without electricity.

Nice place within cycling distance of Arles. Also a nice walk to the village, where there are shops and terraces. You pay โฌ 10 at a machine to stay overnight and โฌ 2.50 if you want to tap water. There are some places under the trees, that will be necessary in the summer. Now the sun was welcome on the solar panels. The toilet was not accessible. Not a problem for us, but if you count on it it is probably annoying.
Sitecode: 113527
In the pre-season it is actually a very luxurious CP. You pay โฌ13 per night + โฌ0.29 p.p. TB for a spot without steam. The showers and toilets are clean and free to use. This also applies to dishwater. You can do a wash for โฌ6. The swimming pool is still empty and the other camping facilities are also still out of order. In April everything was still green and we sat with our bare feet between the daisies.

Nice campsite next to a farm with cows. Clean sanitary facilities. Excellent price/quality ratio. We were given beautiful weather and an abundance of flowering currants as a gift!
Sitecode: 67665
What a nice place! Mail the owner, then you know if there is space. There are 3 pitches, but also space next to it. The manager has information about the area, including cycling to Norwich. We arrived on Friday and were in luck. Every Friday 100+ motorcyclists gather at the station pub. So don't be put off by crowds/noise. That is once a week and stops at 9 am. Then quiet! Without electricity ยฃ 20. Sanitary = ok.
Sitecode: 106888
Beautiful place. Very friendly welcome. We paid ยฃ25 for the overnight stay. Membership costs ยฃ12, but you will benefit from it for a year. The facilities are basic, not an issue for us, we have everything with us. No dogs are allowed. That's also nice and quiet. Fantastic walk to the coast. Probably also good cycling routes, but we did not do that anymore because of the weather.
Sitecode: 158438
Fine for a night, but it costs ยฃ25 for two people without electricity. So. not ยฃ15. Sanitary facilities are clean. You can empty your chemical toilet, but you cannot dump gray water. The camper pitches without electricity are at the end of the enormous field full of caravans; mainly fixed places. You can walk across the dike to the town with many restaurants and a nice harbor that is now being completely renovated, making it slightly less picturesque.
Sitecode: 105976
Between three and four stars. The campsite has pitches with electricity and two large fields without. You can stand there wherever you want. If it rains a lot it gets a bit muddy. The sanitary facilities are new and clean, but if both fields are full it is not much. You can enjoy beautiful walks in the area and see Snowdon in the distance. Costs ยฃ20 without electricity for 2 adults. Cash only!
Sitecode: 55768
The facilities are available but messy. Sanitary facilities are clean, hot water costs 20 p. We don't need anything and were able to choose a nice spacious spot upstairs. We paid ยฃ20, cash only. Knock on the window to check in! Even if you don't go to Ireland by ferry, it is a beautiful area.
Sitecode: 25596
It is an original and surprising place! Sanitary facilities are not great, everyone showers in the ladies' toilet. The shower has instructions for use, but does what it is supposed to do. The manager Tom has a lot to say. The lock is really nice to see and there is a cafe next to it with delicious cake. You must pay in cash. We didn't have that (because just in England). In the nearby town there is a bank with a 'pin wall'.
Sitecode: 48378
Very nice place. When we arrived there by chance, there was no one there. And that in high season! You have a nice view of the sailing ships and it is nice to cycle from here. The castle is also fun to visit, especially with children. We didn't stay because we had other plans. But we will definitely remember this place!
Sitecode: 8346
Very good CP near a marina. Generous pitches on grass. Fruit trees as a barrier and here and there also high enough for shade. Sanitary facilities are also good. Toilets at the CP, spacious showers at the harbor master's building. We paid โฌ22.60. Nice town and the area also offers cycling and walking routes.
Sitecode: 84129
Beautiful campsite! You can choose your own spot. You can drive there in two ways, we took the route via Bennekom on the way there. Then you will be led along a long stretch of narrow sandy path. Exit at Renkum is short, wide and direct.
Sitecode: 92128
Nothing is missing from this CP. Very friendly reception. Charmingly set up. If you are self-sufficient, the CP costs โฌ15. If you want electricity and both showers, an additional โฌ8 will be added. There were eggs for sale. Nice cycling in the area.
Sitecode: 22002
Spent the night here for the second time. Friendly Dutch welcome. Clean and exceptional sanitary facilities. We stood comfortably on the grass, a bit crooked, but there are blocks available to largely solve that. You can order pizzas, which will be delivered to your camper.
Sitecode: 55431
Very nice 'rustic' nature campsite. Friendly reception. Sandwich service, swimming pool, neat sanitary facilities. We could choose from several places. The surroundings are also beautiful. Uzรจs is a nice, lively city. Very nice cycling environment.
Sitecode: 58985
Very friendly reception. Everything is there, outdated, but clean. Shop and swimming pool were still closed. You can order sandwiches and everything is available in the village. Cycling to Figueres is easy, but stay on the C-252. We paid โฌ23 with ACSI.
Sitecode: 73799
Great for a night, especially in the quieter 'non-legal' part. We stood at the very back, under the trees, so nice in the shade. We are amazed at the campers who leave their mess behind as a thank you.
Sitecode: 108044
Great place, near a 'medicinal' source of 20.5 degrees Celsius. You can enter there wearing swimwear. Free electricity, very quiet, except for the terrace of the adjacent cafรฉ. But in the end that was no longer disturbing. There wasn't much to do in the village, probably more in the season.
Sitecode: 12612
We think this campsite deserves 3.5 stars; ample. Very friendly welcome, good English-speaking owner. We always had two campers in one place. so tight. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean. Shower water not always hot, but free. Particularly suitable for visiting Bordeaux and the surrounding area. Ideal for cyclists, because it is flat with cycle paths everywhere and gallant motorists.
Sitecode: 100302
You can't get rid of your gray water without a hose.
Sitecode: 101228
Nice quiet place in the middle of a very quiet village. There is 1 power point at the dump site where you can connect the camper for a maximum of 20 minutes. Enough time for a home-made cup of coffee. There was nothing to do in the village when we were there.
Sitecode: 18812
Great place to dump everything. There is also a waste container.
Sitecode: 18818
Because you have to discharge in two different places, people also empty their chemical toilet into the gray water pit. The dumping site at Ustrup is better organized.
Sitecode: 21876
The campsite is way too expensive (โฌ52.50) for what is on offer. Due to the weather of the previous days, the site was very wet, causing several campers and caravans to get stuck. That was solved with the use of a tractor. Newcomers were not made aware of the unsuitability of low places. Paths are poorly paved. Dumping is a hassle and we could not find a waste container on the 'west' site. Positive: plumbing is okay.
Sitecode: 99979
Clean sanitary facilities. That's positive. We also find it moderate, because the 'day places' are very limited, both in terms of number and space. There is a place to discharge gray water, but the well is very unfortunate and high. Moreover, the campsite is expensive and you also pay for showering.
Sitecode: 103244
You stand here for free, the museum is worth it, you cycle to the center in max. 45 minutes, the route is not very inspiring. When we were there it was anything but quiet. On the other side of the passer-by's harbour, young people race through the park in cars. That stopped around 11:00 PM.
Sitecode: 10502
Nice place on the Kalmar Sund. Sanitary is a short walk to the beginning of the harbor and fine. You stand in a free spot and pay via a site with your credit or debit card. You cannot reserve. So everything is green. But if the place is empty, it is available. Nowadays you pay SEK 270 for 2 people and electricity.
Sitecode: 99719
What a beautiful place this is! Fantastic views, lots of walking and cycling options. The mill is an attraction, especially for children. And at the end of the day you can see the sun set over mainland Sweden. There are no set spots. When we were there there were 7 campers and there was still a spot left for a latecomer.
Sitecode: 106562
It is a huge field with about 10 places with electricity. The toilets are clean, the showers less so. There is a kitchenette. All a bit 'wood, string'. Call the administrator if you don't have a Swish. Cash & Card is also accepted.
Sitecode: 106289
You are not allowed to spend the night here anymore.
Sitecode: 82258
Beautiful place, very hospitable welcome .. You can not book. The CP is full every night, but the manager / owner said when we called that if we were there before noon there would probably be room. He also assured us that there is always room on the island, and that is true. Even during the busiest weekend you can divert to the harbor or campsite.. Next to the CP a restaurant and within walking distance the ferry to Karlskrona.
Sitecode: 50764
Great place to visit Malmo. By bike along the water or the main road you are there in 20 minutes. The pitches are not very spacious. The CP was full around 5 p.m., so be on time. If you drive a little further there are more places. Then you are on asphalt. Opposite is a very nice toilet block. Opens with the same code. From the CP you can also walk to beautiful viewpoints on the bridge and Copenhagen.
Sitecode: 91802
Family campsite with not too large pitches for tents, caravans and campers between the chalets, mobile homes, tractor cabins (nice Pipo cars) and glaming tents. Friendly atmosphere, clean sanitary facilities, catering facilities and a nice base for the beautiful surroundings.
Sitecode: 102637
Great free place with 10 spacious, well-defined places. No facilities except a neatly closed waste container, but you know that in advance. Good base for walking to the Kistevos museum. An absolute must!
Sitecode: 22641
Was full when we arrived around noon, while their site stated you could always get a seat around that time. We were able to get in line at 9am the next morning for a spot that day. According to the otherwise friendly young man at the reception we had a 99% chance of getting a spot. We cycled past it that same day. Especially very full.
Sitecode: 11126
It's true that the price on the app doesn't match what you actually have to pay. We were there on time and stood on a paved part, because of all the rain that had fallen. That's why we didn't have any problems in terms of power, but saw the hassle of others. Yet everyone who wanted it turned out to have electricity. Otherwise a great place!
Sitecode: 28724
Well organized as it was raining all the time and the campsite was full. Yet everything was clean. More expensive than indicated in the app and on the site. But that applies to all Norwegian campsites and camper spots.
Sitecode: 13598
A real campsite, neat places. Is full of large RVs. We paid NOK 425 for a night with electricity. Then you get a card with which you can open the toilet building. That is also well taken care of, but if you want to take a shower, you have to have another 15 NOK per person put on your card at the reception.
Sitecode: 102368
Great place to spend the night after a rainy trip and full campsites. It is quiet after 7pm. You can hear the waterfall, but where not in this area?
Sitecode: 98844
It is a parking lot with sufficient facilities. You can walk to the first attraction of ร lesund in 5 minutes. Tip, walk straight to the Tourist Information and buy a ticket with the circular walk along the Jugendstil buildings.
Sitecode: 58278
Great place! Fantastic view. The road to it is like many tourist roads in Norway; narrow with diversions. We were there alone. It's a little skewed, but that solves a block well.
Sitecode: 43941
Beautiful place. With the nose to the fjord you are without power. Not much to do in the area. Except the sailing through the Sognefjord and the Stave Church. The museums present were closed.
