Upon arrival, we wanted a spot with shade. If you want to be able to choose when booking online, you pay 75 DKK for it. The next day, however, we moved to a spot with more sun. We looked at what was available; it didn't cost anything extra. Furthermore, you pay separately for showering (10 DKK) and electricity (29 DKK + usage). You can order sandwiches and there is a small shop on site. Everything is done online, a bit impersonal, but it works.

It is great to visit the city from here and take the boat the next morning (or vice versa). The spots are well marked out, no hassle with campers squeezing themselves in. The motorhome park was full by the end of the day, but a few more campers did arrive. You can pay by the hour at the parking meter or with EasyPay. You can also empty grey water and chemical toilets and fill up with fresh water.

We arrived on Saturday when everything was full and were allowed to park in the parking lot for 200 NOK. In the evening, a band played between 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM. The next morning, we were able to take a spot for one night and reserve another spot for the following night. Showering requires a card and is paid for, at 15 NOK. The same card gives you access to the toilets, which are neat and clean. You can have a drink and a bite to eat in the restaurant.

Beautifully situated by the lake, where we were also given a spot with a view. Very friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities are quite retro, however, and moreover, there is only one shower for all guests. Work is being done on a family bathroom. That is badly needed. The toilets are so-called ‘Pitt toilets’; everything disappears into the depths without flushing. We paid 380 NOK for the pitch without electricity and 30 NOK p.p. for showering.

Everything is right here, even the price!

The price of the campsite (we paid 300 NOK without electricity) and the sanitary facilities (15 NOK for 10 minutes) are particularly good. There are a few spots by the water, which are beautiful! We also used the washing machine (50 NOK). You can empty chemical toilets, but we couldn't find the grey water disposal point. Furthermore, it is a bit ‘messy’ with permanent pitches.

It is a gravel site with screaming seagulls. You pay NOK 200 for water and electricity. The view isn't very spectacular either. A big plus, however, is the ferry to Alesund. We could take our bikes along and the steward was extremely helpful. We were the only ones there, despite the campsite being full in Alesund itself.
