Brief stop here during the 'Covid 19' period. At the time of writing up to 2hrs free parking. Cafe open in summer. Pleasant 10min walk into the centre. Plenty of space for a camping car Narrow road of 300m , otherwise approach is easy

lovely little site, fairly reasonable price for the UK. Spacious pitches. You can cycle to Weston or 5m or so to Brean, off road

Stayed for 1 night in November 2019. We were the only motorhome apart from one stuck in the grass. We parked on hardstanding near a barn. As mentioned no facilities except water and black water disposal. Some wonderful views of Rutland Water. There is a Nature Centre with birdwatching hides nearby. The whole of Rutland Water can be cycled around from a track just 3 mins ride from Lyndon Top.

Stayed for 2 nights in October 2019. There are not many places to park overnight in Portsmouth, so this is a rarity. Approach is fine but use Locksway road only, the minor roads are difficult. When approaching go through the 1st parking area and approach the pub through the 'gap' at the back of this area. Turn immediately left with the pub on your right. Do not park beyond the parking signs, the area past these is not owned by the pub. We were made very welcome. Pub food is unremarkable but reasonably priced.

Stayed for 2 nights in September. As mentioned adults only so quiet during the day. Nice facilities. Some EHU connections require a long lead. Leveling wedges needed on some locations. Motorhome service point with drive over grey water disposal. Excellent bus service right outside the campsite to either Cheltenham or Gloucester. Only downside is traffic noise from nearby roads and small planes coming in to land at the nearby small airfield but this did not detract much from our enjoyment.

Stayed here in May 2019 , with ACSI for about €23 per night., including electricity. Good location for the Ferry Port about 6km away. No dogs and at least when we stayed wanted cash only. Lovely view from Cabo Mayor, there is a nice bar/cafe there where you can watch the sun going down. Onsite bar (closed when we were there) and bread on site as well. As you can see from the picture, bays are a little short and access roads a bit narrow.
