sylenhuub Finally arrived here, after it turned out the campsite in Brunssum was closed and the one in Sittard was full. Technically, you aren't allowed to park here either due to roadworks starting April 13th! But it's the weekend, so we're staying here.😉

Nice and busy here, 12 campers. Beautiful view, great as a first or last stop in England.

Great place to stay. Stayed 2 nights. To Bury St Edmunds with beautiful cathedral by bike. About 8 km of quiet roads and a large part of a separate cycle path to the cathedral. Worth it. Good stopover on the way to the ferry. And a nice cold beer is certainly not to be missed, there are 10 different ones on tap! Also IPA.

Upon arrival the entire site was fully booked and we went to the farm campsite in the village. Current price is now at least 50 euros per night. And the story goes that the 5G is blocked, so you have to use their wifi network. For a fee of course.

Good alternative to the large camper park towards the sea. Is farm camping, 30 euros per night incl electricity. Everything is available, you do have to walk a bit for it now and then. Managers are very friendly and helpful. From the camping you are in Holdhampark in no time, where you can walk and cycle.

huubensyl Spacious pitches, well maintained, friendly and helpful manager. To Cambridge by bike, largely on separate cycle paths. Helmet on and it is easy to do😉. They really do take cyclists into account. Unfortunately we could not visit College, because of exams.

sylviaenhuub Lovely quiet place, behind the building there are the most shady spots, so just drive on. Excellent base for cycling in the Vosges.

sylviaenhuub Pleasant, nice place in a beautiful village. All amenities available. There are even 6 power connections now. Be sure to take a walk through the village. And near the river: a steel construction from 1903; a "Schwebe Fahre". There are 8 more in the whole world. Highly recommended for lovers of industrial heritage. And you can "float" with it to the other side.

sylviaenhuub The price is indeed 340 Nok. Facilities in good order. Got sushi next to it in the large shopping center. And bus 2 has an excellent connection to the center and also stops at the cathedral. Visit recommended.

sylviaenhuub A formidable view, what beauty. There were 6 campers and 10 tents on the beach for hikers, fishermen and cyclists. Wonderful place, including the road to it; narrow roads and sometimes tight tunnels!

Wonderful view of the lord, toilet was clean, it was forbidden to empty cassettes. Hills behind the campsite invite you for a nice, albeit strenuous, walk.

sylviaenhuub It is indeed a big P. In the evening there were about 80 campers, the P was far from full! We were lucky, the shining sun did not set. You can tap water at the toilet building in the middle. I don't see anyone doing it, we do.

huubensylvia Fine for 1 night. We were standing by the river, the bridge of the E45 does cause traffic noise. this decreases sharply during the evening.

huubensylvia Thanks to the beautiful weather, it is also a wonderful place to spend a night. Except for the stinging animals every now and then.

sylviaenhuub Stayed for two nights in transit to the North Cape, to do something other than camper driving for a day. Sanitary facilities are clean, friendly reception. And when the weather is sunny it is wonderful to gaze over the water.

sylviaenhuub great place to stay overnight while traveling. The swimming pool is open in the summer from 2 p.m. during the week and 12 p.m. at weekends. There is a sanitary column, cassette toilet can be emptied and the flush also works. Electricity at the places with coins. And a nice park behind the CP for a walk.

huubensylvia In June 22 because of bad luck 6 nights. we didn't think it was a punishment; beautiful views, nice walking and cycling. The source of the River Loue is 10 km away. Basic campsite for 12.40 pn with all amenities for the camper and not crowded.

huubensylvia, 17 Aug 21 Was on the campsite, for 12.70. Large places and there were 5 other motor home. otherwise almost empty. CP in front of the fence is not attractive to stand. Nice cycling and swimming in the Maas. Recommended while traveling.

huubensylvia great place to walk, but if you have no coins and the reception is closed, you have no electricity, no water, etc. You do pay 10 euros the next morning to the manager. (Which we don't find a problem by the way) So: make sure you have 10 euros worth of coins with you.

lovely quiet spot on the water. Standing here for the 2nd time. In the morning we had a nice swim (if you passed the water plants) and saw an otter.

huubensylvia 26-8-2018 It remains a nice place. However, the places are far too narrow; due to the delineation there are 13 places, so that your door can not open when it is full. Traffic jam is too tight. There is certainly no 3 meters between the campers!

June 16 2016 Nice little place to stay. To the waterfall: first you take the motorhome along to the National Park Parking. There scenic hiking trails and well-maintained and marked.

June 15 2016 Fine place for a night. Stood with two other Dutch campers.

June 1st 2016. We were the only camper and there was not much to do in the harbor. Great place and nice and quiet. Fish restaurant (well you can sit there) is highly recommended. The fish is delicious.
