sylenhuub Finally arrived here, after it turned out the campsite in Brunssum was closed and the one in Sittard was full. Technically, you aren't allowed to park here either due to roadworks starting April 13th! But it's the weekend, so we're staying here.😉

Nice and busy here, 12 campers. Beautiful view, great as a first or last stop in England.

Great place to stay. Stayed 2 nights. To Bury St Edmunds with beautiful cathedral by bike. About 8 km of quiet roads and a large part of a separate cycle path to the cathedral. Worth it. Good stopover on the way to the ferry. And a nice cold beer is certainly not to be missed, there are 10 different ones on tap! Also IPA.

Upon arrival the entire site was fully booked and we went to the farm campsite in the village. Current price is now at least 50 euros per night. And the story goes that the 5G is blocked, so you have to use their wifi network. For a fee of course.

Good alternative to the large camper park towards the sea. Is farm camping, 30 euros per night incl electricity. Everything is available, you do have to walk a bit for it now and then. Managers are very friendly and helpful. From the camping you are in Holdhampark in no time, where you can walk and cycle.

huubensyl Spacious pitches, well maintained, friendly and helpful manager. To Cambridge by bike, largely on separate cycle paths. Helmet on and it is easy to do😉. They really do take cyclists into account. Unfortunately we could not visit College, because of exams.
