Great location for walking and cycling routes and a visit to Assen. A warm welcome. The sanitary facilities and reception area are neat and practically furnished. It was quiet at the campsite during our visit, which was pleasant, as there was peace and space. We certainly do not find the camper pitches spacious; they are more average. There are relatively many pitches on a small area. Price: €28.50 (2 people, 1 night) incl. 6 kWh and a total of 9 minutes showering.

Fine campsite. We didn't receive a personal welcome, but there were eggs waiting for us. The sanitary facilities are fine. The campsite is due for a technical update (loose taps, no convenient sink for washing dishes, and broken fence(s)). We were situated on a spot right next to the meadows, which was lovely, but the rest of the campsite is also spaciously laid out. Cycling around Barneveld was disappointing; there was a lot of traffic on the junction routes. Cycling on the Hoge Veluwe was wonderful.

Easy to book in advance, clear instructions. What we really appreciated was that the owner also drops by. The campsite is situated on beautiful grounds where you are free to walk. The sanitary facilities are modern, but unfortunately, the toilet is combined with the shower. We would prefer to have these separate. A great base for a bike ride to Gramsbergen, Coevorden, and Hardenberg. Definitely worth a return visit.

A base for a wonderful day at the sauna. The reception and service are very warm and hospitable. Other saunas could learn a thing or two from this. You shouldn't go there for the location, however, as you are situated in the technical section of the sauna. You notice this when you look around (messy) and early in the morning. The technical service/cleaning team does not take into account the presence of overnight guests.

Very hospitable welcome and enthusiastic guidance from manager Rudolf. Spacious pitches on a pleasant campsite. Excellent sanitary facilities. For us, a great base for cycling routes to Bolsward, Franeker, and Harlingen. Definitely worth repeating. If you were to make a critical remark, it might be regarding the price: €29 per night for a camper and 2 people.

Welcoming reception. Pitches by the water are certainly not spacious. Outdated, but functional sanitary facilities and sanitary building. A nice base for a tour of the Fluessen. Based on the reviews we read, we were generally a little disappointed. Certainly a pass (3 stars), but very good (4 stars) is, for us, overrated.

Easy to connect with and very hospitable. Sanitary facilities are excellent. Rarely have I stayed at a campsite where you can enjoy the sun all day long like this. A campsite with a lot of potential, especially if some more (cozy) decoration is added. Great price. The final star is missing because during our stay (1 night) there were other (regular?) campers, which made a stay at this campsite less appealing to us.

Charmingly laid-out campsite with wonderful sanitary facilities. Managed very hospitably and attentively by Jos. The campsite itself truly deserves 5 stars, but the nearby N348 and N35 make it a four-star rating for us. Definitely worth a return visit.

Cozy and neatly maintained campsite. For us, an excellent base for a bike ride to Schokland, Urk, and the Ketelmeer. Welcoming reception. If the sanitary facilities are expanded, we would recommend keeping the toilet and shower separate.

Very hospitable. Spacious pitches. Quiet location and excellent sanitary facilities. A great base for a trip to Giethoorn, Sint Jansklooster, Vollenhove, and Blokzijl.

Indeed a unique spot. Despite other reviews, the reception was only very mediocre for us. Two ladies more or less showed us our spot, but it was clear that this was not part of their duties. We had to find a spot and electricity ourselves. We stayed there for two nights and didn't speak to anyone from the campsite again. Not even upon departure. Early in the morning during peak hours there is a lot of construction traffic due to surrounding businesses. The sanitary facilities are excellent.

Warm welcome. Good explanation. They look for solutions if you want to stay an extra night. Spacious shower facilities. A water connection at the camper pitch. For us, an excellent base for a cycling day to Haltern am See and to Ludinghausen/Nordkirchen. And also not unimportant: reasonable rates, because we find the rates in Germany, especially for campsites, to be quite steep compared to the Netherlands.

Fortunately, there was space on the back field, because we would never want to be at the front. Small camper pitches, with no privacy and no pleasant view. Too crowded. That is fine on the back field. Check-in via the barcode on the entry card. The sanitary cleaner was defective, in our estimation for longer than just today. The sanitary facility is far too small for this number of camper pitches. That is probably one of the reasons why it didn't smell fresh.

Friendly welcome with good explanations. We stayed at the camper pitch. Great spot, spacious. Beautiful surroundings for plenty of cycling combined with a visit to Leer.

An example for the €30+ camper pitches. It is also possible with regular (in this case low) rates. What a welcome and interest. Chocolate rolls on the way the first morning 👌 Very spacious pitches. The sanitary facilities are fine and are being expanded in capacity. You have to visit this place.

We received a warm welcome and had good contact beforehand. It also served as a base for us for a day trip to Thermen Bussloo. We made use of the package this campsite offers for that purpose. We stayed on a camping pitch. Sunny all around and plenty of space. You pay an extra €4 for that. If a point of criticism has to be mentioned, it is the distance to the A1 motorway, but this place is certainly worth a return visit.

Beautiful spot, nice people. Ideal for walking, cycling, and a day in Deventer. The sanitary facilities are really (too) dated. Furthermore, the place looks a bit messy. A shame, because there is more potential in this location.
