What a lot of complaining about this place; I think it's a beautiful place. It's a 15-minute walk to the tram, which goes all the way to the beach. The bus has strange schedules in the off-season. The pitches are outdated but perfectly usable. And the people using the guests of this place make it dirty; it's not that difficult to just rinse off. Of course, you can see in advance that you are situated along a busy road. I think it's a fine place.

Free camper pitch with electricity for visitors to the park, but that is why you come here anyway.

We followed the Camper Contact route, but that takes you to the visitor center; the camper spots are located in the first parking lot on the left. You do have to register at the visitor center. Officially there are 4 spots, but there are many more. But the nature park is worth the visit.

We are standing here now and it is indeed a sort of construction site. According to the restaurant, you were allowed to stay overnight but might be bothered by construction traffic. This is due to repairs to the beach, which is almost gone; everything was washed away by the storms. Even beach restaurants have disappeared.

There's a sign saying parking is 1.5 hours. But you can stay overnight in the four large parking spaces. That sign only applies to the regular parking spaces. I went inside to ask.

This camper site is not open in winter...too bad we had to drive quite a distance because it is one of the few that is supposed to be open according to the app.

You are not allowed to spend the night in the parking lot and the campsite is only for long-term stays and not for campers. I don't know who posted this, but it doesn't make any sense.

Spent the night here for the first time with payment. It wasn't that busy anymore. The only bad thing about paying is the app you have to pay with, which adds 1.50 on top of the 10 euros, which I don't think is right. For the rest we are here with a beautiful view of the Binneschelde.
