Small parking lot. Good views over the Somerset Levels. Walks possible across the fields. Picnic tables available.

Fairly basic municipal site. Toilet block dated but clean. Village has butcher, baker and convenient stores. Quiet at night.

Nice grassy campground near the ocean. Our site was very close to the beach and sleep came easily at night with the surf in the background. The employees were friendly and helpful and it made a great base for touring that end of the island. The lighthouse was worth a visit with great views along the beach. We went at the end of the season and were the only ones there.

Family oriented site. Many more chalets than camping pitches. Close to beach. All the facilities you could need but expensive as the season goes on. Easily reached from Le Havre or Caen ferries.

Adults-only site on the edge of Exmoor National Park. Dark sky reserve and top spot for stargazing. Peaceful, small quiet site. Dog friendly. Owners very Eco friendly. Perfect for a short break. Great views.

Flat level area, but pitches are quite close together. We were there towards the end of the season so was not a problem. The park sits right on the water's edge and you can see Confederation Bridge in the distance. Nice sunsets off the water.

Pitches are close but there was plenty to choose from as it was late in the season. Stopped here whilst travelling the Cabot trail and enjoying the beauty of Cheticamp.

Great campground steeped in history. Fantastic views and hiking trails that lead to historic canal and locks and into town. Staff are very friendly.

Small campsite with bar and Restaurant. Some shaded pitches. No pool which would have been nice with the hot weather. Not many water taps. Showers are timed so you have to keep pressing the tap or use a tyewrap!

A reasonable stop even though it is close to the auto-route. Free Wifi, swimming pool next door which you can use. Restaurant and bar on site. Electricity is not free so we paid €27.49 in August.

Not what I was expecting! Very dusty and lots of semi-permanent placements making it look rather scruffy. I don't think I will be back.

Nice site but just a shame the traffic is noisy during the day. Lots of information about nearby places to see. Somewhat put off by a tent, with two young children, that was pitched right by us, unofficially, when we were on the MH hard-standing area.

Nice campsite if you get given a decent pitch but was initially given one which was far worse than the Aire next door (which was full). Reluctantly allowed to move but noticed many English were placed there on both nights I was staying. WiFi is extra from €3.00 per day. Used by many as a first/last night stop to the ferry/tunnel so was quite busy. Within walking distance of town and supermarkets.

Stayed July 2015. Within walking distance of Brantome which is very picturesque. Lots of canoes for hire. Plenty of parking but some roads are closed to motorhomes. There are other places specifically for motorhomes if you like Aires. The campsite reception was very friendly and spoke English. All the usual facilities and a swimming pool. Good sized pitches on grass, all have electric. Wifi strongest only around reception. Very helpful manager. Facilities very clean. Excellent site just 10 minutes walk from centre of town. GPS co-ords for site entrance N 46.420349 E 0.87554

Small friendly campsite on river. Ideal if you want to visit Brantome. Most everything in village.

This is the second time I have been here (2015) and now 2017. They remembered my details from last visit. Comfort pitch (with water) 25 Euros per night. Facilities clean and hot water for showers and washing up. Plenty of walking around for dog owners. Short walk into Dax along the river. Goes quiet at night by 10:00pm.

Modern facilities very clean and tidy. Dog friendly. Not much flat shady places for MHs especially when one caravaner took up half of one terrace with tent, awning and chairs as well as facing and watching everyone. Really hot so the pool was welcome to cool down. Bread could be ordered in daily.

Close to Lidl and Intermarche which is a bonus. Some shady pitches and reasonably flat. No hot water for washing up but the showers were OK. Biggest problem was the flies and mosquitos, otherwise we would have stayed longer. The town and river front were worth the visit although drinks were more than higher up. Was the cheapest stopover so far in two weeks.

Plenty of places with shade. Wi-fi slow but included in price. Lots of tents using MH pitches. People using the drinking water taps to wash up despite there being lots of sinks. Quiet at night despite the number of people. Interesting walk along the cliffs. Nice beach.

Large field part sloping. Great view of Widemouth Bay and surrounding area. Mid season £20 per night with electric. Close to Coastal Walk. Showers extra.

Great for a stopover before returning to Calais. Facilities dated but adequate. Gets busy. Pitches are level and reasonable size.

Plenty of space to park up. Relais not working but water at lavoir. Pretty village with Chateau. Swimming pool next to site. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Great for an overnight stay. The pool was really good in the current heat wave. Too bad the facilities were not quite good, but it's free.

This is my second stay. It just gets better now with showers. What more could you want. Good internet connection, electric if you want it and water close by.

I decided to stay on the campsite as it was only 10 Euros and there was more shade. It was also more dog friendly. Bit too close to the road.

Good for a stopover on the way to Portugal. Free 30 mins wi-fi. Just don't like all the flies!

The price in June goes up to 12 Euros, rather expensive with no electric or Wi-Fi. Stayed on a Municipal with all facilities for less last night. Seems popular for those that want to walk to the beach.

The site was great until this Belgium motorhomer decided to park up. Good job I had a sliding door!! This kind of thing gives us all a bad name. If the site is full move on.

This is our 4th visit. We find it very handy when travelling north. Close to town and has all amenities. The entrance and barriers have been replaced and make it much easier to get in and out. Can get busy only 1 space left last Tuesday but only 10 MH's today.

Very friendly site. If you have a meal in the Bistro you get your site fee refunded. The meals were very good and it was very busy. Would stop again if in the area. Toilet only during opening hours. Wi-Fi only close to Bistro.

Very busy place. Very friendly, clean and tidy. Ideal for Keukenhof. Some noise from road, rail and aircraft when the wind is in the wrong direction.

Rustic site, very quiet. Road is narrow country lane.

Stayed 5/8/2014. Lovely site, very roomy. Vet in the village was still open until 7 o'clock. Would stay again.

Quite expensive unless you stay 24 hours. You can stay on the car park for 7 euros less.
