I was there today on November 19th…the path down was slippery, turning around was not possible, only at the very bottom of the road. No campsite found, while it is marked as open in the winter. The postman also did not know of a campsite and advised me to go back to civilization because of twilight.

In winter one of the few campsites that is open. For me unplanned just before dark landed after a long drive in snow. £35 for a hard and level surface with electricity I still find a lot for a camper van of 5.5 m. Showers do not work due to economizing in winter. But I am happy with a safe place. tomorrow looking for fossils!

I am there now on November 10th with campervan and dog and pay £15 for a paved place, including electricity, drinking water, grey water and toilet emptying. For me a ok price to do everything and recharge after a few days off grid. And in the winter one of the few campsites open and therefore safe. Nice reception too. yes outdated, but everything is there!

Great free camper place next to supermarket and 50m outdoor pool! Garbage can and waste water dump for free. We have not used electricity and warer for a fee. Paved place between trees. We did use blocks. Centrjm of Frankenberg is beautiful and within walking distance. Supermarket open Monday to Saturday. Swimming pool 9-19 during the week and 9-18 on weekends for € 3 with hot showers. Slept peacefully in the evenings. Top
