Great place where you pay for what you use. On New Year's Eve, we were surprised with oliebollen (Dutch doughnuts) and apple fritters. A nice touch that was much appreciated. It was also very nice that you can fill up your water tank even during periods of frost. Kudos!

Quiet location in a large city. The city center is within walking distance. It's a shame, though, that they don't try to keep the restrooms operational in case of a bit of frost. That would have been nice for the price.

It's a nice campsite. It's a shame you have to pay €4.50 per day for an extra car (traveling after work)! This kind of information isn't available on the website. There's no information about rates on the website either.

A nice, peaceful campervan site. There are quite a few long-term campervans, but they don't bother us. It's a shame, though, that one campervan owner thinks he can take up three spots with his campervan, trailer, and car... I call that antisocial.

Good for a stopover, nothing more. A bit of a slog to get there, and even worse a slog to get back. Very narrow spaces and some long-standing stalls, which doesn't contribute to the atmosphere. Nothing open in town on a Tuesday afternoon.

A lovely campervan site near a picturesque village. There are many beautiful walks nearby. The Wi-Fi isn't very good. There's no garbage disposal, unless you're willing to buy a code for €2.80. We think that's excessive on top of the price, which has already increased significantly in recent years.

You don't need anything more: friendly owners, beautiful scenery perfect for cycling and hiking, tranquility to enjoy, and excellent basic camper amenities. And all that for a great price. Absolutely fantastic!

Nice quiet camper place with spacious places. Places on the Ourthe are paved with grass stones. At the moment work is being done on paving even more places. Walks to make from the village. Map can be found at the VVV.

Excellent places on grass (these were now open). Official places very narrow (3m) but nobody sticks to it, so you can still stand fine. With a camper >3.5T it is best to drive via the D157, then you avoid the center with one-way traffic and 3.5T prohibited. The system of access via the Camping-Car app (so not with a map) also worked fine.

Nice place. Nice walk of 11 km around the volcanic lakes (follow signs MA). Note: check-in is contactless, check-out MUST be with your bank card

Friendly welcome. Quiet place with many possibilities for walking, e.g. to Watermolen Bels. Nice that you pay for electricity according to consumption.

The info states that the manager comes by every day after 4:00 PM, but in the three days that we were there we did not see a manager. We also did not receive a response to our email about the non-existent wifi. The toilet dump point is not properly constructed. The pipe is so high that you have to lift the full tank quite a bit to be able to empty it. The flush hose is also too high. For this price we expected (much) better.

Great place. Too bad that many campers can't/don't want to read and still park/stay overnight when the two official places are already occupied. That's how these kinds of places are closed down automatically! There are now a total of 7 campers! There are enough other places around here, but yes, you have to pay for them...

Great place. Too bad there is only 1 tap at the discharge point so there is no separation between drinking water and water for rinsing.

Great quiet place to visit the castle of Sedan. Too bad there is wifi, but it does not give access to the internet. But at CCP the internet rarely or never works, so no surprise.

A camper place the way we like it: no bells and whistles, but excellent facilities. WiFi also works fine. Quiet area that is ideal for taking walks.

Service free and working. Water does flow slowly. You can also dispose of your waste. So everything is fine for us as a service station. Not overnight.

Great place for visiting the nice town. There is often something to do on the adjacent square (circus last week, so the camper place could not be used. Bumper cars this weekend, annual party in August) with associated noise.

Prices per night now: Up to 7 meters: €8.40 7 to 8.5 meters: €10.50 longer than 8.5 meters: €12.60 Actually a bit strange, because even with a short camper you occupy a whole space… Since it is not allowed to put chairs outside, only 3 stars.

With a heavy (+3.5T) camper it will take some searching because the road through Couvin and the two entrances to the camper place are prohibited for vehicles >3.5T. But fortunately for us, 'mobile homes' are excluded from this. Free space and quiet, so as far as we are concerned there is nothing to complain about.

This price is ridiculous! And if you are willing to pay this, you can only go with cash or a German bank card = EC karte. We won't come here anymore, no matter how beautiful it is.

The camper place looks good, but in the village the street has now been broken up, so you can only enter the village from one side and then have to take a very sharp bend towards the camper place. We found it too difficult at 7.5 m and did not feel like reversing to the camper place.

Contra: very sloping places Apparently an attempt has been made to create as many places as possible, resulting in cramped places, trimmed with very ungainly 'backs of pigs'. The places in the corner are difficult to reach if there are already other campers.

Really way too expensive! As a camper, you do not need more facilities than discharge and water. If you want to use the facilities of the campsite, you go to the campsite, it's that simple. In any case, we skip this CP and campsite.

Great place where you stand quietly. Beautiful walks. You now pay electricity per kWh (great because you only pay for what you use). WiFi: can only be used close to the museum and then very slow. Payment only in cash or by EC card, so regular Dutch debit cards are not accepted.

Price has doubled to €10. That is a bit much for a dusty parking lot without any facilities.

Great quiet place. Village not much special. Address is Pl. du Général de Gaulle, behind supermarket 'Match'. Water is not working at the moment, and it seems to have been for a long time. If you want to take the red walk that is on the sign: take a picture of the sign because the 'balisage' leaves something to be desired.

Nice big places. No mess, just neat. Staying overnight is free, only service is paid (currently €2 for water). No problems with the road.

Very narrow pitches. No room to extend the awning, but officially that is not allowed. When we were there on the weekend it was not quiet. Lots of crackling mopeds all day long. Nice place, nothing more.

Nice places on grass. Nice town. Various walks can be made from CP. To remove residual waste, you must download an app that allows you to open the trash can 10 times for free via Bluetooth. Has been tested according to the signs and works fine. Water during care only gives a small stream.

Great place in itself, just a pity that there is a 'long standing'. This is in the picnic area (so picnic bench cannot be used) and around the bus it is a huge mess (oven in the hedge, jerry cans and dog shit). Also dog shit in the corners of the other places. Hopefully it's temporary so still 3 stars. Too bad the council isn't doing anything about it!

Great place. Nice walk from the lake (18 km). Didn't have any problems with the road, it's best to stand some distance from it.

Great place within walking distance of Iper. At the entrance of the CP it says that the sta-money is €12 per night, but €9 was debited when you left :-). And that includes electricity.

Enthusiastic reception. Beautiful place with beautiful view. Fresh eggs every day. Good Wi-Fi. Beautiful surroundings for walks. Tip: if you don't like silence, don't come here :-)

Wonderful place for the self-sufficient motor home, without unnecessary facilities such as shower and toilet. Good service station. Agricultural environment, but had absolutely no problems with tractors or other agricultural machines in two nights. Great area for making walks. Payment via envelope, as indicated on the information board.

Very busy and petite. Unfortunately many places in the middle of the day occupied by passenger cars. That should be maintained.

Great quiet place to explore the village. Also a great base for walking. Since free I would say: do not complain about lack of facilities such as dustbin. Just take that to your next place! Even service point available.

You can stand on the unpaved part, asphalt, or at the loop of the bus stop. With the last option, buses drive right past the camper and you have a chance that a truck will be unloaded next to you in the morning. When we arrived there was a passenger car with a smashed window on the unpaved parking, which did not really give a nice feeling. Spent a very peaceful night.

Became more expensive. Now KR200 without power and KR240 with power. You are on asphalt along the public road so some traffic. At night indeed restless because of racing youngsters. Then it is not so pleasant to be the last in line. Gray water disposal very clumsily arranged. No manager seen so paid with envelope.

Nice quiet place (late season). Nice walk to Ytterberg, about 10 km there and back. Visitor center was closed so as non-Swedes we stood for free.

Nice place, but very busy with locals until long after sunset (early Sept). Other than that, no problem. Voluntary contribution can only be made with Swish, so as a non-Swede you are here for free anyway.

Just stick asphalt you are standing on. You will be asked to fill in a registration form, but no form and no envelope in the box hanging outside. So you just have to have it with you. Price kr100 for service only is disproportionate, but since there is nothing else nearby…

Great place for one or two nights. Coming from the south it is best to avoid the road along the Hjälmare canal. This one is very bad: a washboard is slippery 😖. Our upper cupboards jumped open.

Great quiet place with all facilities for self-sufficient motor home. Payment terminal (also) accepts Dutch bank cards. It is now also possible to discharge gray water without a bucket or hose, but in a somewhat strange way, with the grid on top of a hump. We found Heide not very special.

Wonderfully quiet place. Gray water can be discharged, but then it concerns small amounts because the tank can only contain 150 liters in total (and is now almost full).

Pretty narrow places. When it is full, it looks very cramped, especially in the middle rows (the outer rows still have a piece of grass on the outside). Washing machines and dryers available. A new payment system is being worked on. You pull a ticket at the entrance, and later pay with that ticket at the payment machine. Ticket is also used for exiting.

In itself a great place but price is now €15. Since we do not use the toilet and shower, this means that price/quality is not entirely in proportion for us.

Place fine, but a pity that it was not indicated on the payment machine that the place is unavailable for a week from June 20 due to the fair. There was a note on the info board, but by then we had already paid neatly for two days. And you can only pay in cash, not with card (as is often the case in Germany).

Great place. Good for taking walks. On fairly busy main road, but not really bothered by it. WiFi not suitable for anything other than getting mail or whatsapp. No assigned places, so I doubt whether there can be the promised 25.

Nice quiet place on a small marina. Price has now been increased to €9.40 per night. By the way, no one came to us to collect the stageld. 12 km walk (yellow/green marking) starts across the canal. Restaurant/grocery in the village permanently closed.

Great place but even at this time (March 2/3) it was packed around four o'clock! There was no water at the service station, so we had to drive on to the harbor master's building. There is water.

Nice CP with good price/quality ratio. It is a pity that the maximum residence time is not enforced, because at the beginning of March there was the same resident as last year in June, in a prominent place with a lot of junk around the van. That is not good for the appearance.

Very quiet cp with all amenities. Nothing around and very little to do. We found the walking options for walks longer than an hour very disappointing.

Quiet cp without amenities. Well suited to go from here to Laon, by bike or like us on foot via red/white marking (GR143), starting at the restaurant on the corner.

Wonderfully quiet CP. Now four official places. Two adjacent to the parking lot, these are somewhat sloping and about 7 meters. The other two are on the (quiet) road, flat and about 9 meters long. The service point is 'En panne' so out of order. In the morning, the main road is clearly audible. A walk of 7.5 km can be made from the camp, yellow/green markings.

Nice quiet CP. Gravel surface. Service point (still?) out of order and doesn't look like it was ever used. According to the sign at the entrance, the overnight price is €5, but no information about how or where to pay. No one has passed by so it was free.

fine cp. Paved places, care well arranged. Water €2 for about 20 minutes, electricity €2 for four hours. Beautiful view of the surrounding hills, village with supermarket within walking distance. Walk 'Circuit du bois de Groez' (12 km) runs along the cp and is indicated with yellow markings.

Warm welcome with mints and information about the area. Excellent walking environment. Great place with a view over the meadows, but handy to be on the grass boulders with two wheels if it has been rainy. Rating becomes one more star if the waste water can be discharged in a normal way, instead of with a bucket. Tip for the bottle fillers: fill the water tank of your camper, you can fill as many bottles as you want ;-)

Nice spacious pitches, within walking distance of the center. What a good initiative! There should be more places like this. Nice view of a freshly painted wall.

After our arrival, the manager came to tell us which power connection we could best take due to problems with the column. He also told that a new column is coming. That's all you need as a camper!

Great place, close to a nice place. Quiet, although in high season it can be very different when the pool is open... Payment in cash (notes and/or coins) or with EC card, but as a Dutch person you don't have that.

Great place for a great price. We have been here for three days and it was continuously fully occupied (Oct 3rd week), so you have to be lucky for a free place. There are walking and cycling maps at the info of the CP. Beautiful area for walking.

Great quiet place. Tight access but also doable with a slightly larger camper (7.50 m). We bought a few boxes of wine and only had to pay for the electricity (€3 per day). Nice walk to ruin Guttenberg.

Great place for visiting Neustadt. Place is always very busy. Too few power points for all places, sometimes long cable needed. Stayed here for two nights and had no problems with noise.

Sani column currently closed with a chain, so no water or electricity. toilet emptying is possible. Places quite narrow, but camper of 7.5 or 8 meters can also be fine here.

Nice CP with nice view of the canal. Water not at the care column but a bit further (indicated on the column). Good base for walking. Officially space for eight campers, but since the French have a small personal circle, they regularly squeeze in unofficial places.

Pretty ok but places are very small. No info about wifi to be found. Prices are slightly higher than indicated, and September is also a high season.

Now (in September and during the week) quiet place. Can probably be a bit noisier in good weather and in season due to nearby park including funfair. Water is relatively expensive (€5 per 100 litres) but you are otherwise free.

Great place near the center. Large paved places, separated by small cairns. Payment via money in an envelope that you take from one of the cupboards. This also contains paper on which you have to write down the number plate and put it behind the window. Envelope with money afterwards in a closed box. WiFi did not work in places close to the care. Gray water drainage a bit difficult.

Only a few paved places, rest very muddy in rain but hard. Do not follow tomtom or google because they will send you through a bicycle tunnel. Furthermore, great place. It is a pity that care is elsewhere in the village.

Warm welcome. Beautiful pitches with a view over the lake. Beautiful surroundings for walks: the Karlstalschlucht is recommended. Washing machines (3 units) and dryer work fine and are not expensive. Two washes fit in the dryer, so you're done in no time :-). Foreign debit card is not accepted (happens more often in DE), but according to reception that would be resolved next year. WiFi is slow but works.

Warm welcome. All the time is taken for the wine tasting, the wines are not expensive, and after buying a few boxes we did not have to pay any standing money. We thought it was tight.

Great place to visit Annweiler and make beautiful walks. Pitches are large and clearly marked. Distance to the adjacent road is large enough. There is indeed quite a lot of traffic, but it did not bother us.

Great place for walks through the vineyards. Pitches are large, pitch numbers are on the bars. You are the most beautiful on the back part. Neat supermarket Edeka nearby, within walking distance. At the moment it is spring tuned to at least mid-October.

A great place for this price. The noise of the traffic was not that bad for us. There is a nice walk of 15 km from the CP. Zur Teufelsbrücke auf dem Gleitsch from Outdoor active.

Nice location right along the national route. We thought the noise from the road was better than expected, but that may also be due to where you are exactly. A 10 km walk starts from the camper place. Tip: park ahead, then you have the chance to see the beavers from your camper. We had an hour-long view of two parent beavers and three little ones (9 September).

Nice spacious places, and once you know how it works with camping-car park, checking in is easy with the ticket. Water connection is not standard, but according to camping-car park it is a standard connection for them (info via mail). Good options for walks. When we were there (early September) the two restaurants in the area closed between 7 and half past 7 ....

Beautiful camper place, just outside the 'real' campsite. Each place has a piece of grass, and greenery is planted between the places. You can use the sanitary facilities at the campsite.

Nice campsite with nice staff. Nice places and nice and quiet at the campsite. You can make beautiful walks from the campsite. The sea is just outside the entrance to the campsite, so in the evening you can relax and enjoy the sunset on a bench.

Not a nice campsite for us: karaoke in the evening, and much more noise in the morning due to aqua jogging. If you go for your rest this is not recommended.

Especially because of the view very nice place. You can take beautiful walks from the camper place. You are the quietest on the 'service road', but you have the best view when you park on the strip just along the road. No bothered by traffic.

Great place for visiting Maastricht. Little cumbersome hassle with controlling the flow (you must first know where you are going to stand, and then pass the number of the power connection). I would find it more convenient to pay for 24 hours (so not until a certain time the next day). Furthermore, just everything you need.

Place on mix parking, which can be busy during weekend with nice weather. You then have to make sure you are there on time. Further quiet at night, and good base for taking a walk. Also sani-column present so fine.

Nice quiet place (we were here in mid-August, only five campers). Receipt by administrator very warmly with a lot of information. Especially if you watch biathlon in the winter, it's nice to stand here and see it in real life.

Very quiet CP.

CP does not look well maintained. There was no one to pay for and the restaurant where you could also pay was close. We did not think it was a good place, even though everything was present (water discharge and refueling etc). We found hiking opportunities against falls. More advertising is being made here for bicycles.

Great place, everything you need is there (discharge toilet and gray water, take drinking water). Place is nice to walk through, nice to walk around the reservoir. Little noise from the train and traffic, therefore 'only' an 8.

Very nice place. We called to reserve because it was advised on camper contact, but that could not be given. Too bad there is no way to discharge wastewater. Wifi in the evening do not burn in front.

CP fine. Restaurant with big card open until 15:00 only during the week. After that time you can still eat the small card / snacks until 20:00. Furthermore, little to do here, no possibility for walking around.

Great place for an overnight stay. Place itself is nice but not very special we found. All in all, fine for transit.

Beautiful CP with good facilities, and nice places Bad Sooden and Allendorf. The border museum can be reached on foot (45 min), as well as making beautiful walks. Our Dutch debit card did not work here (maybe only credit card? Could not enter code), so be sure to have coins available.

Good base for visiting the city, which is nearby. Therefore, do not mix any parking facilities for watering or pouring water.

What a disappointment that this CP now costs € 12.60 while it was still free last year. An additional disappointment is that you must have a pass of camping car park to get the CP. If you do not have them already, you need to purchase them for 4 euros. Also pity that we had to pay high season price (5th September) while in the town almost everything was closed!

The official CP is hardened, but that place is used by many golfers to park their car. You can also stand on the grass. Very quiet it was only between sunset and dawn. The CP is close to the spot where the golf carts are sprayed. This is well audible. Also fine place with good restaurant.

Great place to explore the area. You can walk or cycle along the Elbe. The town itself is also worth it. The CP itself is quiet, free of charge.

Great place to visit Maastricht. Noise from the road we were not disturbing, but we stood at the Maas-side.
