4 stars for the quiet location and delicious breakfast. Sanitary facilities are very old-fashioned and in need of a refresh, but everything works. Very friendly owner. When it rains, the ground gets soggy quickly, even after 1 night. 25km cycle path to Ferrara.

A bit of street noise, but you get that everywhere around Lake Garda. Decent campsite 3km from the center of charming Malcesine

Large, rather chaotic campsite. Pitches are not well marked or structured. Limited sanitary facilities, especially showers, in proportion to the number of pitches. Walking and cycling only if you have a mountain bike (cycle paths are rough gravel) and are willing/able to cover significant elevation changes. However, it is beautifully situated between the mountains.

There are more than 100 pitches; the campsite was only one-third full (end of season), but with a dog, there are only 10 pitches where you are allowed to park. A 7-meter camper is the maximum there due to the trees. Dogs are also not allowed in the restaurant. So, I would not choose this campsite with a dog.

Max. 6 campers allowed. The rest are 16 chalets/mobile homes. Very quiet. Grey water disposal is not possible, but toilet cassettes are. Beautiful view of the rock of Castellane and the surrounding area. Castellane center is 2km via a small road.

Small-scale campsite that really makes an effort to create a cozy atmosphere. Toys for children, free wood for making a fire or grilling, board games, canoe rental. Also a communal relaxation area. Sanitary facilities not super modern but clean. Located in beautiful nature and near the city.
