Although the campsite itself is not luxurious, it is spacious and adequate. The medieval center of Chinon is a 5-minute walk away and well worth a visit, as is the castle which can be reached by lift. There are also plenty of restaurants in the town.

Can not be positive about this. Our worst camping in Croatia so far and by far the most expensive: € 40.00 per night. Undoubtedly due to lack of competition.
