Excellent location, just across the river from the Royal Shakespear Theatre. Short walk across the tramway bridge. Pay by RinGo, parking on the edge of the cricket pitch. Really quiet at night, felt totally safe. £14.20 for 24h so night and a whole day sightseeing (plus 30p Ringo fees). Didn't go to the sports club so dont know what facilities might be available. Will definitely be back

Shady campsite in pine forest. It's a bit run-down, but we enjoyed it, hot showers and a good reception / bar. Staff were very helpful and enough english to make it work. €23 for a campervan, so pretty good for the area . If you like your campsites perfect, or if you have a big van, this one might not be for you.

Excellent place to spend the night and the location. couldn't be better - 500m from the cathedral. People come and go to their cars, others walking their dogs along the river but never felt unsafe. 2 other vans on the night we stayed.

Lovely campsite in middle of town grassy shaded pitches. Toilets and showers appear quite new. Friendly staff.

Secure car park with barriers close to the centre. A few touring vans plus a couple of long term residents. Quite close to the sewage works and lots of mosquitoes. Automatic payment machine 22.60 for between 8 and 24 hours. Fairly busy until the early hours as people returned to their cars after a night out
