This is our second time here. We think it's a fantastic location. Thijs, Martine, and their sons are so friendly. This time we had families with young children here. We enjoyed the entertainment they provided. Thorn is within walking distance, and the surrounding area is beautiful for cycling. And Thijs's fresh cauliflowers will be a nice gift for our neighbors.

Beautiful, spacious pitches, well-maintained sanitary facilities, and a friendly and helpful owner. What more could you ask for? A beautiful area for cycling. We highly recommend De Groote Peel.

A campsite bustling with life. Happy children cycling, swimming, and building dams in the stream. There's a lot of car travel, thankfully at low speed, but still more than welcome.

Very spacious pitches (even too spacious for a campervan). Excellent sanitary facilities. A good base for beautiful bike rides. Very friendly and helpful owners. We had a wonderful time. The current daily rate is €34.18.

This place is a gem! One of the best we've ever stayed at. Spacious pitches, spotless restrooms, and friendly owners. We won't mention the occasional weak Wi-Fi; we don't consider that a problem. The indoor pool is a real plus. A place to recommend.

Nice camping. Each place has a tiled terrace. Admittedly: the adjacent road 'sounds'. The owner is very friendly. The sanitary building is extremely clean. Just to mention that grey water must be deposited in the toilet waste area. There is a bicycle shed with power outlets, and a spacious meeting room. A place to recommend.

Great camper place. The first aerial photo with roundabout shown is not correct. It is very quiet here. Birdsong gives this place its own character. All awnings face south. Sanitary facilities are neat. Tip for the automatic gate: place the shortcut from the confirmation message on the home page of your smartphone; then you have it easily at hand.

A camper place of the better kind. What could be added, is nearing completion. Kris, Tonny and Marie-Jeanne give it a personal character, even the girls Julie and Tine. We experienced the barbecue on Friday. Well, that brings people together around the fire, simply and with a greasy laugh. For bike rides and walks this is a good starting point. This is a place to come back to.

Nice spacious places, friendly owners. Close to cycling and walking junctions. Being here in the asparagus season is/was a tasty bonus. Fridges with some food and drinks for sale. Spotless sanitary block. More than enough tourist information. Clearly a family with a heart for the camper.

Beautiful campsite with spacious pitches. The terrace at the camper is an added value. Friendly and helpful owners. Very clean sanitary facilities. Vending machine with cheese and jam. Breakfast on Sunday. Bicycle shed available. Spoke to guests who have been here often and speak highly of it. It is almost impossible to improve.

Nice campsite with spacious pitches. Friendly welcome in Dutch. The bread service is easy. Drinks available. Everything is there, except a central discharge point for grey water. No problem, but good to know. Kegs prove their worth here. Nice walking environment. Documentation at the reception.

Two words: blissful peace. Beautiful cycling environment. Everything a camper needs is there. No, no sanitary block, no bread service, but a perfect camper place with a sea of space. Friendly owners.

Nice place, friendly owners, decent facilities, a free egg and cucumber, an unexpected requirement in warm weather, sandwich service on Saturdays, beautiful surroundings for cycling. Long sentence to say it's good. Beautiful places. Water at a central point. Electricity on site, 6 amps for 3 euros or 12 for 5 euros. Nice sitting area with panoramic views. Trampoline for the children. And close to picturesque villages.

Very nice little camper place with a friendly greengrocer. Everyone receives a box with relevant information. Wonderful cycling environment. All normal facilities are available, very neat. Baker within walking distance. Anyone who talks to Thijs gains great respect for the farmers who provide our food, and for the women who support this.

We enjoyed the peace and friendliness of the owners. Whoever comes here takes in the donkey song. It's not that bad. The alpacas look into your eyes without blinking. Electronic registration and payment works well. Sanitary facilities are neat. Power at scattered columns, water at a central point. A place to come back. And yes, a beautiful cycling environment.

Wonderful campsite. Spacious pitches separated by bushes. Water, electricity and drainage available at all places, in addition to the usual central discharge points. Eggs available, literally fresh from the chicken. Groundsheet is understandably not allowed; but broken grass patches show that some people consider themselves exceptional. The pleasant village center is within walking distance.

Beautifully maintained spacious camper pitches, neat sanitary facilities. Electricity connection and water tap nearby. The discharge points for gray water are gutters. Separate rubbish bin per camper. Excellent base for cycling trips. Bakery and other shops at 3 km.

Very warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, helpful people. The pitches are beautiful, sufficiently spacious, and with water and electricity on site. Many facilities for children. Bread service in the morning. Cozy cafe. We do not need sanitary facilities, but they look neat. Some eateries in the immediate vicinity. Anyone who wants more seems quite demanding to us.

A campsite with its own character. We were kindly received, and the chef Dick deserves a special mention. Lovely terrace and commendable restaurant. An area for improvement is a discharge point for greywater; the individual pits are too high and are a hassle. Furthermore: great place and a base for beautiful walks.

Stayed here for a few nights for the second time. We have everything on board, so no sanitary facilities are required. What has improved since last time is the discharge point for greywater: even easier. Still improving will be difficult, because it's already perfect. And that view over the water! We prefer the pitches on the grass, with the awning facing the water. Others stand on pebbles, with their snout to the water. A cozy cafeteria.

Beautiful pitches on a simple campsite near an active farm. What needs to be there is, in all simplicity. This is a nice place for real campers with sympathy for the farmer.

Very spacious pitches in a quiet area. Also nice are the animals around the campsite (horses, goats, pigs and a chicken sleeping on top of a pig). Sympathetic owners. A fridge full of drinks. Beautiful cycling environment between the many farms. A place to come back. Please also come in winter, because the pigs miss the spaghetti leftovers.

That is unique here. People who want to give a lap on life would do well to pass here. Here everything is casual, casual, in good faith. We experienced the barbecue. Good. Fresh products. And as a man: a drinks menu that you cannot learn by heart. Still from date.

Beautiful camper place. Large, but nicely divided into compartments. We have sanitary facilities on board, but what we saw was complete and tidy. Friendly owners. Departure between 9 and 12; but with an additional payment of 10 euros, this can be extended to 8 pm if there is no next booking. Good base for cycling and walking tours in this beautiful area. Craving to go back.

Beautiful camper place. Beautiful spacious pitches with all amenities available. The enormous size is not noticeable due to the arrangement of the vegetation. Dogs are said to be on a leash, but that is not correct. Many owners allow their pet maximum freedom. The tavern with terraces turns out to be a success. The ice cream sundaes are recommended. We'll be back. Best to reserve.

Nice little motorhome with very friendly owners. We did not need the sanitary block, but it looked neat. There is even a bath, a microwave oven, a fridge filled with drinks at democratic prices. Outside there are fewer power points than camper pitches, but power strips are available. Bicycles can be placed inside and charged. Beautiful cycling and walking environment. A place to come back.

Beautiful place around a fishing pond. Friendly patrons. The overnight stays are to be settled upon arrival (after 1 pm). Water and electricity with coins available. The cafeteria is open from Wednesday to Sunday. It radiates cosiness. We now understand that so many motorhomes come back regularly. Detail: the drain for greywater requires some precision work; but snipers wouldn't be out of place in 't Kamp (= Leopoldsburg).

Nice place to stand. The power connection is under a hatch in the ground; we have not used it. Water is a long way away, can be fetched with a watering can or something. The tranquility and the view make this place worth a stay. We were lucky with 1 free place. We would like to come back here. In the area you can enjoy walking and cycling, with junctions. Also nice: there is a bicycle repair facility.
