I fully agree with the previous reviews. We stayed here for two nights with our dogs. Due to heavy rain, we got stuck. The Dutch owner was very helpful and quickly got us out. Great campsite.

Spacious, peaceful campsite by the sea. Marina, glamping tents, several seasonal pitches, and multiple campervan locations (near the marina, by the sea, or in the woods). Spacious pitches. All amenities available. Service house with good, clean sanitary facilities. Several portable toilets are scattered throughout the grounds. A downside is that there are only two showers.

We stayed here for two nights. We received an extremely friendly welcome, the campsite was beautifully maintained, and the sanitary facilities were spotless. The food truck served delicious meals at a fair price. Spacious pitches. A dog paradise. The Coop supermarket was just 500 meters away. In short, everything was perfect. The young German couple have been the owners for over a year and they go above and beyond. Fantastic, we'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

Due to family visits, it is the 4th year that we have been here on the camping site, but it gets worse every year. More and more unsavory types are staying here permanently, showers and toilets are barely cleaned and hot water is a rarity. But you do pay the main price here. One star because of the location.

smaller, wonderfully quiet campsite in beautiful surroundings with a large lake for swimming, fishing, boating, etc. Free choice of place on a beautiful field. The Dutch owners are hospitable and really want to please their guests. All facilities available and neatly maintained. Bread roll service and restaurant in the evening. Second time we were here and certainly not the last.

excellent campsite, friendly host and lady, beautiful, clean and adequate sanitary facilities. Free places, all amenities available. Plus small COOP shop and restaurant incl takeaway. Beautiful surroundings, right on the camping site for walking and cycling routes. Only minus is that free wifi does not have full coverage. Recommended.

small campsite with the necessary facilities, simple but neat. Friendly welcome, beautiful field with free choice of place. Well located on E18 so a lot of traffic.

campsite looks well cared for but fields for campers little playful and limited space. Places already mostly filled with Norwegians who were already quite noisy on Saturday afternoon at 2pm (us know us). we drove on to Camping Borgund Hyttesenter at about 30 min.

I don't quite understand the previous comment. The friendliest reception, excellent and clean sanitary facilities. The camper pitches on the asphalt are quite close together (everyone wants to be at the water) but completely free places on the lawn. Wifi is fine for normal use, we don't stream movies. Road 9 is the main route through the Setesdal and indeed sometimes a bit busier.

Today we drove to the campsite on spec. Arrival from 3 pm but reception is still closed half an hour later. Lots of seasonal pitches, very close together, but now quiet and deserted. There are 8 specific camper pitches, but given the space, the campers come stiffly next to each other. There was now one. The field sites are almost all without electricity and not a single tourist. Uninviting stuff, we quickly drove on to the next campsite.
