Camperplaats bij The scouting building was full of parked cars, at the unlit lawn on the Hasseltsesteenweg where we previously had a pleasant time it was unpleasantly dark, no indication for campers seen. There were several campers at the Begijnhof and at the cattle market halls. We spent the night there.

Pleasant place, next to a pleasant swimming pool and excellent WiFi

Quiet overnight stay. Here and there nice places and buildings in the nearby Altstad. Excellent bakery and great butcher that is open until 2 pm.

Everything as described here is correct! There was more than enough space later in the day. Probably because of the low water level swimming was more mudflat. No need a few kilometers away on the left or right are two great seaside resorts.

The loneliness is pretty bad, 400 m from the E45. Who wants to enjoy a quiet place, a shelter with bbq, a dry toilet and a picnic table is the top. You can not hear the road through the murmur of the fast flowing river.

Lovely beach and swimming facilities. Parking at the bottom of the beach is prohibited for overnight. Slightly higher and to the north is the parking lot with a dry toilet where there is space for campers. At the beach is a better toilet, running non-drinking water and changing room.

No indication as a motorhome. Official parking space. Overnight so allowed. Nearby is a nice seaside resort, suitable for small children, with bbq and dustbin and a clean toilet. Various picnic places on the banks. The parking lot is rather slanted, maximum space for a small camper that can stand with the help of blocks.

If you as a camper have everything with you, this is a great place. Space enough, quiet, somewhat remote. Hiking possibilities in a small nature reserve. Cycling in the area on quiet roads. Beautiful walking area, with various picnic tables, toilets and BBQ grills for walkers and canoeists. Excellent bathing water at 400 meters. At the Dalslandmuseum in the summer a coffee terrace and shops.

During the extremely hot days in May it is busy for Swedish standards. So best to have. Nice bike environment along the shores coast.

Fairly quiet. Two caravans with cozy sometimes noisy seasonal workers. They went to sleep at 10.30. Markets with everything you need, Wednesday and Saturday morning. All facilities neatly organized.
