What a beautiful eco haven of peace and tranquility amongst the olive trees in what is technically the owners (large) back garden . Just spent 3 most relaxing days here. Marc the owner was so welcoming . Book ahead if you can as they might be out at work, otherwise call the number when you arrive like we did and Marc will give you the gate code to get in ( speaks English as well as French )

it’s an absolute bargain for 20dh . yes it’s dated but it is a proper campsite with showers and toilets . just to park it’s worth the 20dh

great location. arrived 26th Dec and just wanted to let people know that there are off season prices . For the whole of December it’s only €20 per night with ACSI card including electric and really great WIFI which covers the whole site . Looking forward to taking the water bus into Venice almost from the doorstep .

this is a great free stopover only a couple of miles from the motorway but in lovely countryside and the Weber vineyard. The allocated parking is along the road immediately before the car park entrance past the house . ( we missed it at first and went up the hill and had to turn around ). we stayed in the winery car park but there would have been plenty of room on the parking and space to turn around for our 9.3m van

Fantastic location right by the dunes. This is a large campsite but doesn’t feel campsite-ish, more like just plenty of space to chose where you would like to park in a rural setting. We stayed a week here and really didn’t want to move away. The best hot showers we have experienced in Morocco so far. It’s also an Auberge with a beautiful swimming pool which you can use

10 out of 10 for location. Our 3rd visit to this campsite and you feel like you are wild camping in the desert. Hot showers, good toilets and good location to walk into town. One year we took a half day excursion with the owner in his 4x4 into the desert and this year we took a sunset camel ride. Both great excursions. Lovely friendly manager ALI

A little oasis just off the main road. We wanted somewhere to break our journey from Merzouga to Ouarzazate and this was perfect. Gorgeous views, lovely and quiet and a natural rustic site at the owners house. Such a friendly welcome and we were given not only mint tea but still warm beautiful homemade cake which I suspect was baked especially for us. Good electric and we would happily stay again

After reading the reviews we were looking forward to staying here, but on arrival we were really disappointed. The well is still here but the rough ground parking area was very uneven, full of massive potholes and there was broken glass everywhere. Also it is right on the edge of the road. We dove on. Please note there is no proper camping between Oujda and Figuig.

This is just a big car park but it is very close to the police station for security. We pulled in here when it was nearing dark and we had nowhere else to stay ( there isn’t really anywhere proper to stay between Oujda and Figuig.) it was fine for the night and the town seemed friendly when we drive through but it’s not a destination, just somewhere off the road to overnight if you need to.

We had a lovely experience here Huge campsite with lots of trees and big green areas. ( we are 9 m+ and it’s very accessible ) We were waved at on the roundabout by a man on a motorcycle who then showed us the way for the last few hundred yards. All were very pleasant. Yes we did hire a guide through them but we had wanted to do this and it was money very well spent, the guide Abdul was brilliant.

Great location right by the seafront, and shortish walk to town where we got the tram straight to the Blackpool tower ( trams every 15mins , £6 each for a 24 hour pass and 40 min nice ride to the tower). Only downside was that on our visit around 8pm we had a boy racer zooming around the car park in the dark doing handbrake turns for around half an hour.

Brilliant location right in the centre but quiet and a nice grassy area to sit out. Lovely town, well worth a visit. Apparently weekends are busy and they are normally full so suggest arriving on a Friday ( as we did ) rather than a Saturday to secure a place. Lovely host and secure area with good WiFi

Lovely camperstop with large hardstanding spaced out pitches and surrounded by well manicured grass. Quiet, well sheltered and sunny in a spectacular area of natural beauty. Lovely bar Restaurant next door which owns the campsite. Campsite turning is on your right about 200 metres before restaurant. We missed it as not signed but plenty of room to turn around even with large MH

Totally perfect! Beautiful spacious grassed campsite in a sunny clearing in the woods. Very peaceful and tranquil . Newly built eco style shower and toilet block. Spectacular ‘posh’ greenhouse relaxation area with wood burner , sofas and honesty bar and ice cream fridge . Fresh bread baked on the premises ( order the night before). Lovely owners and great cycle rides to 2 lovely small towns.

As another reviewer has said, this is now open again and as a free stay with free electric ( but no water or disposal) right on the port side with a lovely view you couldn’t ask for more . The fish shack/ cafe next door sells brilliant local seafood .

Lovely, very spacious and bigger than expected. Beautiful location with the palmerai around. Would have stayed longer than 1 night if we hadn’t been so ‘ hassled’ in the town. Could be lovely but you can’t walk a few steps without a tout in traditional dress trying to sell you a trip. Shame- Just too much.We were approached at the campsite too; trips , look at the shop etc, but they were ok.

Ten out of ten for everything; location, lovely site overlooking the river by the palmerai, super hot showers, all sanitary top notch, fast fill water hose, 2 washing machines, brilliant WiFi , good electric and super friendly owners. Loved it here and our favourite site in Morocco so far.

What a superb free camping location. Obviously no facilities but fill up and empty before you go and just enjoy this gorgeous location . Stayed 2 nights, very peaceful and safe. Around 6-7 vans here when we were here but a huge area on 2 levels. Access and room for vehicles of any size. Panoramic views, great sunsets and sunrises and the local sheep/goat herd grazes here.

Location perfect to visit the gorge and is quite spectacular overlooking the monkey paw rock. It’s quite small and although we were fine in our 9m van, it was quite tightly packed ( more like a camperstop ) and full with 13 vans ( most of them much smaller than us). Really genuine hospitable welcome ( meals available) but for us just a place for 1 night to see the gorge ( and great for that)

Beautiful site in lovely rural location but not far from main road if you are looking for somewhere to break your journey . Fine for our 9m motorhome but might have been harder to find space if more busy . Beautiful pool with loungers and tables and food and alcoholic bar drinks available. Great place to chill out.

Super site in great location just back from the beach , some pitches with views over the sea . 5 mins walk to lovely clean beach with a couple of restaurants . Little supermarket with well stocked basics and bread next door. Good electric and good WiFi

Really great location overlooking the sea. We got a front row pitch with a fantastic view .Didn’t use the showers or toilet so can’t comment on those . Good electric and and easy waste water disposal. Great food and beer and wine available at the hotel next door and good position for the town and souk ( 10 minutes up the hill)

10 out of 10 for location. You must stay here at least one night if you come to Mhamid . It’s right on the desert , with amazing views and a great place to watch the comings and going’s of the desert ; donkey and carts , camels , rally cars ( a rally on 1km away when we were here ) and 4x4’s going into the desert . The Sahara wind can whip up unexpectedly, so expect this but incredible location.

As the other reviews say; great site in the Palmeraie. A lovely sheltered place to relax. Lovely welcome from the English speaking owner , mint tea on arrival , a big mat to go outside your door which does a great job of keeping sand out; water , sinks , good showers and toilets, disposal and a well maintained site. Stayed twice here on our way to and from M’hamid

We have stayed here numerous times. It’s an oasis of calm and tranquility on the edge of a hectic city. Lovely setting; beautiful ( if cold) pool and poolside restaurant with good food and alcohol. Good sanitary and washing machine. Taxis easily booked through reception to go into the city.

Great location right on the doorstep of Ait Ben Haddu. Standing at the top of the Kasbah you can see your motorhome! Just parked here for one night and didn’t use the facilities but was the perfect stopover for visiting the Kasbah. The Kasbah by the way is absolutely spectacular and a must to see ( and is free)

Very friendly and welcoming and a comfortable secure walled location close enough to walk into town but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be a quiet refuge.

Super free parking in purpose bays for motorhomes 10 mins walk from the fantastic historic old town . It gets very busy but in midweek January when we visited people were also parking in the coach bays as there were no coaches , also on the surrounding waste ground. Free water and waste disposal ( although waste a bit inaccessible for larger motorhomes , but doable with manoeuvring)

What a fabulous place this is for free! As other reviews say, just buy some fuel from the petrol station across the road ( +ask for a free water token ). They also give you a town map with supermarket and places of interest marked . Lovely town and only 10 mins walk. Level spacious bay site, free electric ( although we didn’t need it). Easy access grey and black waste bay, fresh water by token.

Great free dedicated motorhome parking with water disposal and fresh water (€1 per 10 mins of fresh water ) . Plenty of electric hookups available ( pay meter ) . Super location for this very lovely city.

Yes this car park is more expensive than most for no services but it is so central and just a very short stroll to the beautiful old town ( left out of the gate, left again and 150 metres ahead and you’re there) it is worth the money for a short stay. Also safe, lit, walled and secure and remarkable quiet at night . We paid pl76 for around 19hrs ( large motorhome and plenty of space to park )

This is a great location without services right by a beautiful beach and it is accessible for large motorhomes too by the road . We cycled first as we weren’t sure, but fine for access. You can cycle from here to the Kelingrad border on a beautiful cycle route through the trees past all 4 beaches ( all numbered , park at 4 and border at 1, around 3km cycle )

For easy location to Auschwitz this is perfect . We weren’t sure if we’d got the right place to start with as there are a few Parkings all around. it doesn’t really matter too much which one you go to. 20pl for the day and 20pl for the night so 40pl for 24hrs. Wasn’t sure how it would feel overnighting so close to Auschwitz but it was fine. Couple of hotels and restaurants close around us.

Super campsite, lovely location by river. About 5km easy cycling on cycle paths to city centre . Nice city. Campsite restaurant/ bar good and another couple of great restaurants right by the entrance on the riverside . Here in November and although shower block open, water tap to fill was switched off so had to fill up via containers from tap inside shower block . Suggest ask first if water.

If you just want a quiet place to stay that is very near to the old town with easy access for any size of motorhome , but with no services then this does the job. Large car secure car park with mixed parking . We paid 30pl for 24 hours.

Absolutely lovely stopover, just 2 miles from the motorway. Stayed an extra night as so nice . So very quiet and peaceful and lovely local towns nearby to cycle to. ( do go to Braunschweig) Excellent facilities - very new toilet and shower block with washing machine and dryer .( you need 4x50c coins for each). Free water and electric, but no grey or black discharge.

Lovely quiet location just off the motorway. No motorhome facilities, but quiet little rural car park picnic spot with dry toilet and picnic benches . We stayed on the large rough lay-by opposite rather than take up too much space in the little car park. We visited the old church ruins on site , also the new church and the moose farm around 3 Miles cycle away ( signposted ).lovely stop over .

Great location overlooking the Göta Canal . New and clean showers and toilets also washing and drying machine and microwave. Cycle path along the canal ( access over the bridge ) Captain Billy’s restaurant/ pub on site . Pay there for the parking . Very friendly and helpful . Fresh drinking water fill available but no waste water disposal.

Super stop over less than 2 miles from the motorway but very quiet and peaceful . Everything you need here, an easy fill and disposal point , free electric if you want to leave a €10 Euro deposit for the key. Otherwise just €5 for the night . Park up ( there is an open entrance to the right behind building ) and then go to the brewery bar/ restaurant ( fantastic food and beer) to get a ticket .

No facilities but a fantastic location on tarmac car park overlooking the water only 5minutes or so from the ferry terminal. Quiet and peaceful .

This is a great location to visit Lagos and an easy walk to the port and town. We followed very good signage for Camper service point to find this camper park . At €3 a night it’s a bargain . Free waste disposal and €2 per 100 litres for water ( tokens and camping tickets from the stadium office ). You can use the service point without staying . Great service for campers from the town.

Brilliant location for the small quiet port, beach and restaurants. It doesn’t look very special when you first arrive but the fill up and waste work well and the location is the big draw. Agree with the other review, lovely in the dry but you wouldn’t want to be here in the wet. €4.50 per night plus €3 if you want electric.

This is a fabulous location. We stayed here because I was flying home the next day but a great location without a reason to be at the airport. No facilities but large very nice parking area with lovely views over the wetlands and a short walk or cycle to to Ilha de Faro , a very unique beach area with restaurants .

Great camperstop for overnighting for Jerez. We cycled from here straight into the centre along super cycle paths .Really exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and also a motorhome storage / garage so if you need any maintenance then just ask them

Great new camperstop style campsite . Very roomy , good hot clean showers and washing machine with large drying area . Only downside is that electricity hook up really no good for running anything whatsoever . Hoping they manage to get that sorted , other than that a super site in great location next door to other campsite .

The best camperstop we have stayed on so far . Excellent facilities, secure ( great system with fob for entrance and toilets ) and great hard standing level pitches . It’s everything you would want it to be .

Really good location right at the gateway of the medina. It’s a general car park and when we arrived there were no other motorhomes and quite a busy car park with cars . Car par attendant very helpful and welcoming .we were the only motorhome here and a little worried about the safety of overnighting but well lit and police presence at the medina entrance until around 1.30 in the morning.

Really super site in beautiful tranquil setting among the argan trees. Informal parking with plenty of space and good strong electric. Suitable all size motorhomes. Pool ( a bit too cold in Feb, but lovely ) restaurant , washing machine . Very relaxing stay . If you go into Essasoria for the day, it’s a lovely place to come back to . My favourite campsite in Morocco so far.

Very special place. Our 2nd trip here . Wild camping at its best and so very near the town. The evening light on the surrounding mountains is amazing . All vendors visit but are not a pest. Toilet emptying at top of area. 2 campsites within 30metres if you want to top up for a night . We had super tagine, pizza, cake and washing all done by the lovely Nezha

Superb quiet campsite. Excellent well maintained clean facilities to western standard .super hot showers, 3 washing machines , well laid out terraced bays with easy access for large motorhomes . 10amp or 16 amp electric (little extra for 16 but better for our large motorhome ).3km into lovely little town which has all you need . Fish/veg/gas/satellite men all visit.

You couldn't ask any more of this aire for the price . €5 , buy a ticket from the machine and includes free electric . Only 2km from the motorway on the route from Holland, Germany to Denmark so perfect for breaking the journey. Rural site but close to town, a safe 500m cycle . Everything you might need in the lovely town. Hard standing and room for large motorhomes .

Really great hard standing stellplatz right on the side of the Kiel canal, only a few miles from the motorway to Denmark so great for breaking the journey. Easy access and space for large motorhomes . Direct access to Cycle route along the canal , also cycle path along main road to Lidl and Aldi (under 1km away) . Delightful watching the ships pass along the canal even from row 2! Super spot .

If you want to break your journey especially if you have children with you, this is absolutely perfect. Only about 5 miles from the motorway and in quiet countryside, friendly campsite with swimming pool, various children's play equipment ( swings , sandpit, trampoline, bouncy castle) also kids club ; great bar/ restaurant with lovely atmosphere and food.

This is a free fill up place at a petrol station with a restaurant . Great purpose built area to fill up with water, empty grey water , and empty toilet . All for free and just off the motorway . A must when there are so many wild camping opportunities locally .

No facilities but a lovely wild camping site right on the beach. Lovely non touristy local town with a selection of small tavernas and a small port. Note, Next to a rather trendy bar on the beach which on the Friday of our 2 day stay was quite noises well into the early hours . Previous night very quiet .

This is a super little campsite in lovely surroundings with great facilities and lovely staff, about 7 miles from A1. The downside is that the access road ( about 2km ) from the town is very narrow and quite steep ( we did meet vehicles coming the other way ) also the main campsite is very steep too. Now an additional area for larger vans on the flat , just OK for our 9m van to make the turn in.

Lovely location right on the beach. Huge mature well maintained pitches . Short walk to all the seafront restaurants and port . Choice of local medium sized supermarkets , also a Lidl ( half a km or so , turn left out of campsite ) Lovely little town . Campsite Sanitary slightly dated but ok. Just under €20 a night incl electric with a acsi

The campsite is a rather dated and the only sanitary facilities available are in one of the very dated chalets , but that said ; its a lovely spacious area and perfect location for visiting the Rose growing fields ( may / June) which are right on the doorstep and along the 2km cycle path into town . Also visit the Rose museum and the Thracian Tomb in the town . Recommend this stopover.

We were here out of season so the shop, restaurant etc , also most of the local area was not open; but lovely spacious campsite and in the season would be lovely as has direct access to the beach with own sunbeds

The good points are ; direct access to the beach, also restaurant there , 5 mins along beach ( via nudist bay!) to Golden Sands. Bad points; scruffy, unkempt, rough irregular uneven pitches tiered down steep incline, very poor sanitary facilities and €25 per night. One night more than enough .

Gorgeous site , immaculately keep sanitary facilities on the edge of a lovely village which has supermarket , butchers , cash machine , restaurant . Lovely cycling area close to Delta waterways . Took the most amazing 3 hour boat tour with the host in his boat . A must to do . Host very hospitable and speaks perfect English and French .

Perfect location for Bran. Just 20 mins walk to the castle . Please note that the coordinates listed take you 500 past the site ( coming from Brasov) .

Lovely campsite with a really great restaurant /bar with really lovely food at very reasonable cost . A map and great instructions for visiting the city ( which is a must to visit ) from the English speaking receptionist. Take the Bus ( from just outside the campsite ) for 2 stops , then the tram from where you get off the bus. Very quick and easy .

This is a lovely camper stop and absolutely the best location for visiting the town , literally just 5 minutes walk away . The hosts were so helpful and accommodating .

Really lovely campsite, friendly owners and set in a gorgeous village with amazing views of the mountains. Right at the start of the transfagarasan highway route ( 3km from here ) . We took our scooter to 1500 metres which was around 13km from here ( the road was still closed for snow from that point ) then took the cable car to the summit. Amazing day. An absolute must to do when here .

Superb friendly relaxed campsite in countryside on the edge of a small village. Owner speaks perfect English and is very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are just what you would hope for. Lovely place to start in Romania. Takes Lei or Euro (cash only). There is a village shop and a small mini market 1km or so away, but if you can stock up with food before you arrive, all the better

Perfect location for visiting the city. We had a lovely pitch overlooking the river and could watch the many rowing teams practising . Easy metro ride to the main areas and info from the campsite on which metro to take to where . Approx 400m walk to metro station.

Absolutely superb ; from the lovely receptionist with a friendly welcome and great simple instructions for getting the Metro to the City to the night security guard who was so conscientious and all the staff , so very friendly and helpful .Great location and very simple to get to the City . Superb facilities and thanks for the free use of the washing machine .

This is a superb location right on the Danube with views of the castle and bridges . It's free and you are right by the bridge to cross over to the old town , also straight into the cycle route . We cycled to the old town. It's a huge car park ( no facilities ) plenty of room for all and some campers and a couple of HGV's here , also cars ; many of which were parked overnight . It felt very safe .

No facilities but the best free parking location that we have come across , right on the edge of the Danube within walking/cycling distance of the old town.

After reading the other reviews we were slightly cautious as to what we would find, but this is an absolute gem of a camper stop in the best location for Karlovy Vary. Very secure (main gate locked after 6pm, but you have your own key for pedestrian gate) and the owner is a lovely man . Yes he wants you to park very precisely in the bays that he has marked out ( took a few shunts for our 9m van)

Lovely quiet well kept small site very close to a network of cycle routes and walks. Stayed 2 nights but could easily have stayed more. Free fresh water and grey and black water disposal , but no other facilities . ( other than electric at 35 cents per kWh - bring a long cable ) No rubbish bin so you need to take rubbish with you.

As a Niesman owner this was a great stop for us . We had a pre booked tour of the factory, also lots of N+B to view. But a great stop for anyone . Very new and clean and good fill and disposal point and plenty of pay electric points. Direct access to old railway cycle path network . Lovely area . As another review says , great selection of supermarkets, also garage with lpg within a few metres .

Super camper stop on the port, great location and lovely local area with so much to see. We stayed here in asparagus season and cycled to the asparagus fields . On arrival pull up in front of the big gate and then walk behind to the water sports / chandlers shop to register and get access code for the gate .

Our favourite campsite in Morocco so far . Superb sea views and direct access to the beach , very peaceful . Restaurant , ship and also bread shop just outside the site and fruit and fish sellers call . Wifi in the restaurant but only any good if you are the only person using it! It's about 13k into the town ( which had everything you could need ) so you'll need transport to visit the town

The site itself is exceptionally clean . Great little shop and a fish man calls . Also access to repair man and we had our Moroccan scene van painting done here by a man called Rashid . Really pleased with it . The washing machine facilities aren't actually self service , you need to leave your washing at reception . View of the beach but quite a way to the town .

Super location only 5 miles from motorway . Easy access and right amongst the little village , the river and wine chateaux. Free stay, service point , max 48 hours parking.

Really great camper stop . set out like a campsite with water and electric on each pitch. Very spacious plots and it seems people staying for a few nights . No toilets or showers though.Turn right out of the gate straight on the cycle path towards the ferry to go over to rudesheim ( about 2k) . Park where you want and then see the man when he arrives at 5pm. Can order bread for next day.

This is a motorhomes parking area that is sectioned off and part of a large general car park . So the spaces are just parking spaces with enough room to open the door but not much more . But great location and does the job for a one night stop over. It does get full and there was only one space left when we arrived around 3pm. We have a large motorhome ( just under 9m) and were ok

This is actually a large campsite right on the join of the 2 rivers with excellent river views. We paid €38 for 2 adults and a child for one night on a riverside plot . Very large pitches and great facilities. There is as part of the campsite ( just outside the campsite area) a car park style area for around 15 motorhomes charged at €15 for 24 hours . Great location

Really great stopover . As one review says, you need to stop at the harbourmaster's office first to get the keycard for the electric gate . Lovely view , very secure and immaculate toilets and showers. We ate at the on site yacht club restaurant and it was excellent. Also cycled into Venlo which is a really lovely town with lots of restaurants .Really great stay .

Good campsite. We came here through the camping cheques book but were then told that they didn't accept them, but a great deal only €15 per night. Super showers and very clean. Great little town with castle, lake and fjord, supermarkets, shops, restaurants etc. Spend a lovely day exploring the area.

Thank you Big Bird for suggesting this site rather than Rheine. Absolutely lovely right on the canal. Great cycle paths along the canal, quick cycle or walk to town. Very peaceful beautiful stop on our way from Denmark to Amsterdam.

Great place, very large bays. Part of the park and ride so free bus to town. 100 kr. You must visit Strömstad and get the day ferry (run every hour or so) to Koster. Amazing island and like stepping back in time. You can take bikes on the ferry or hire there.

Perfect for getting the Stena Line ferry. (very close. you can see it arriving). On the port, very spacious marked bays. Lovely views. (There is other parking very nearby if this is full- on the far side of the little beach).

Lovely campsite right on the river. Lillehammer, lovely town 2km along the river path, walk or cycle. WARNING sat nav coordinates have not been updated , you come to a dead end unless you want to go over the bridge ( you can turn around easily though , then signposted the other way) Access from the busy roundabout where the supermarket and superstores are. Drive along through all superstores.

Easy access and well set up aire on the lovely port side . Suitable for all sizes of motor homes . There were around 200 vans here but still plenty of space. Pay at the machine or the man calls early evening and you can pay him. Water and electricity inc ,Take the 151 bus from just outside the entrance to the right on the main road to get to Oslo bus station . Regular service, 20 min journey.

Utterly amazing view over the fjord and snow capped mountains and great location to cycle straight into town .

Fantastic location , just magical and very relaxed right on the waterside . Small friendly campsite with very clean facilities . Suitable for all sizes of motor homes . A must to visit this location .
