What a nice campsite, beautiful pitches and friendly owners. They are expanding next year. Location is great for exploring Leiden and the surrounding area. The pitches and electricity are a bit expensive.

We only saw the owners briefly when we arrived. Max V's race was more important. No explanation about the bread service, etc. Website prices do not match what needs to be paid. The fish & chips they promote were not available either. The pitches are nice and the sanitary facilities simple but okay. For us, a disappointing experience.

Nice spacious pitches, arriving on time is no problem as your pitch is posted on a note on the reception door. Friendly staff, cold beers and soft drinks for sale and a sandwich service. You can cycle to Amiens via a partly car-free but bumpy road through the fields. Sanitary facilities in good order. It's a pity the chateau was closed.

Friendly welcome, neat sanitary facilities, information folder with sights in the area, and fun for the grandchildren: a trampoline and the opportunity to look at the cows and calves. Within cycling distance of Haarlem.
