Dog owners, please note: we didn't have a spot because we had two (small) dogs with us. The policy is one dog.

Super friendly reception. Beautiful places. Brighton easy to reach by bike. Very busy and scary to cycle in this city. Sanitary neat. The tent at the front bakes delicious pizzas and has delicious salads. The price of this campsite is just not in proportion. 78 euros for one night! And what a fuss with discount cards. That's why no 5 stars.

The road to the campsite (with camper) is sometimes cringe-worthy. Very narrow. A super friendly and hospitable welcome by Andy. A great view with beautiful, well-kept spots. Mostly equipped with a picnic table. The terrain slopes a bit. They are super friendly to dogs. The sanitary facilities are average. Large showers, but a drama to get an even temperature (it was difficult with washing hair). Price in proportion.

We read that there is afternoon rest from 1 to 3. Please note❗️In the late season this is from 12 to 3. So we were at a closed barrier at 12:15. Selected a few nice spots in the meantime. Place number 30 seemed like something to us. This place was not possible according to the receptionist. Veldje was fully booked and choosing your own place was really not the intention. The people after us did not get it because of their reserved spot 30? The field was also not full.

Camping, as camping is meant to be. “Just look around and see where you want to stay” and no problem whether it is for 1 night or more. Very relaxed and hospitable. . A normal, fair price. Owner is 'visible' in a pleasant way. Sanitary facilities very good. Spacious places.

1 star, because the price is 50 euros per night and not 30.50 as stated on the site. Also the acsi report on the site… they don't do that! Acsi sign shows off nicely at the reception entrance??!! Beautiful camping sites on the edge. In the middle of oppressive. Camper pitches 22.80 without use of sanitary facilities, but with electricity. Despite the ridiculously misleading price, it hung with its legs here.

reception could have been a bit friendlier. Mrs. “pushed” us to 2 nights when we indicated that we had doubts about this. The intention was to pay for both nights, no return for the 2nd night. We also report that there is almost certainly no room for the day after. Bit corny. We are experiencing this more and more often...not being welcome for 1 night. otherwise the campsite and location were okay.

TOO EXPENSIVE. Large campsite. 117 euros for 2 nights! Sanitary facilities very neat, take off shoes in the toilet building (no way!). Built in on all sides by campers and caravans. Conversations from neighbors can be heard while you are sitting in front of the camper. Restaurant too small for the large campsite. Lüneburg heath beautiful (!) but not suitable for cycling. Even dangerous for the elderly to cycle in the loose sand. Chances of falling are high.
