Stayed here overnight at the end of October, as the only camper, but it felt safe. Right on a cycle route along the old railway line. Restaurant in the old station restaurant. In the village there is a bakery, pizzeria, and Chinese restaurant.

Shady, water, electricity, etc. available. Please note: on Saturday, August 29, there is a very large music festival in the park of Brasschaat, so noise disturbance is unavoidable.

We stayed here for three nights in August. The first time with three campers, the second time with two campers, and the third night alone. Lots of shade! Wonderfully quiet. We arrived after 6:00 PM and the site was practically empty. Between 6:30 PM and 10:30 PM, there are a few cars belonging to visitors of the popular restaurant. Nice walk with the dog along the ponds. Bakery in Renwez.

We parked here during the day for 5 days, not in the parking lot but along the road (head-to-tail), and the camper is in the shade all day. There is plenty of space in August until about 1:00 PM, and then it fills up. You can sit and swim anywhere around the small lake; there is plenty of shade here too. We spent the nights at places nearby, but many others stay overnight here, and by the looks of it, without any problems. Great spot!!

Tips: There are more available spots than power hookups; check before driving in. Upon checking in, you will receive a code that you need to get water AND to drive out. The code is displayed on the check-in screen; take a photo of it (I didn't receive a receipt). When checking out, you must indicate this at the column; then you must enter your code, and the barrier will go up. The barrier is NOT linked to license plates.

The camper pitch has indeed disappeared. There is now a clear prohibition sign. The camper pitch has been moved to the corner of Damse Vaart-Zuid and Schipdonkvaart-Zuid (address Damse Vaart-Zuid 26). The photo of the row of camper pitches was also taken there. Difficult to turn in due to its location on the bend.

A very large site with an official section for campers. But the campers were all over the place, so you can choose between sun and shade. It's also frequently used by campers who only use the site to visit the town and then move on.
