A very large site with an official section for campers. But the campers were all over the place, so you can choose between sun and shade. It's also frequently used by campers who only use the site to visit the town and then move on.

We drove on, arrived around 6 p.m., and it was completely empty, and there didn't seem to be many campers there. It didn't feel right to us. There was an abandoned caravan, though, and some trash scattered around. There was a sign for trucks to park, not campers.

We had a nice, quiet night here on Friday. The young people (and older ones) are grouped together on the lawn but leave around 11:00 PM. We weren't bothered by passing cars. The train starts running again at 6:00 AM, but it causes minimal disruption. On Saturday morning, the chip stand starts setting up, including the patio. I can imagine this might cause some inconvenience for the campers, as they're all very close together. Free CP!

Great location, with electricity (€0.50 for 0.5 kWh) and utilities. For €9, you can get a transponder at the pool entrance, giving you unlimited use of the pool, restrooms, and showers between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM. The parking lot is located in a lovely walking area. And don't miss Pizzeria Roma.

We were here on Friday, July 25th, with four campers. In the evening, young people were active at the skate park, but without causing any disturbance. During the night, there was some noise from car occupants, but again, no disturbance. In the morning, all the campers had been pelted with eggs, so there was still some disturbance.

Very nice campsite, we stayed here mid-June. We had not made a reservation and were at the reception around 11:30 and had one of the last places. The reception closes until 14:00 and then there is a long queue to check in. Some people are unlucky then because it is full. Advice: reserve a place or arrive in the morning. From the campsite you can go to Calais via a great cycle path, see red line on the added photo.

You can park your camper on the grass (official CP) and jump on your bike on the beautiful cycle path. You can use the wifi of the restaurant (password is the same as the name of the restaurant). We were there with 5 campers during the Pentecost weekend. Slept very peacefully. Drainage free, water with mint (for sale in the restaurant).

The first parking space may be a bit scary, but the second spot with 4 free power points and 2 water taps is great to spend the night. And the third spot is on grass and nicely under the trees. In total, 12 campers can certainly spend the night here. You are very quiet, no ambient noise. All shops and restaurants nearby. Recommended!

Very nice, we arrived in the weekend of Pentecost around 17:00 and had the last official spot (6), later the parking lot next to it was also used. Free V&E. As a thank you to the village, bought champagne in one of the champagne houses.

June 22, 2024 Currently completely closed, apparently due to V&E construction work. This evening we had several campers in the adjacent parking lot. You could get electricity (provided a long cable) and water for free.

Unbelievable that gems like this are free. There is a toilet at the CP and many waste bins nearby. The view is beautiful! The cycle path around the lake is 16 km and to Görlitz by bike (via safe cycle paths) is 7 km. We had a wonderfully peaceful sleep here.

Completely agree with the review below. And also a large swimming pool and jacuzzi at your disposal. And 16A electricity, lovely hot showers and for €5 you can use the washing machine. We had a nice spot in the shade. The owner speaks English. You can buy small groceries at the gas station. And cheap fuel.

Slept peacefully in this practical place. Stroom works with €0.50 coins. Nice view. There is a picnic table for everyone's convenience. Pay in the store where camper supplies are also for sale.

You can use the shower (large shared space, separate for men and women) and toilet for free. Electricity 16A and water also included in the €12. No V&E. I have added a photo of the approach route. Park the camper in front of the closed gate and then report to reception for the key (we had driven into the parking lot of the rehabilitation clinic and then had to twist and turn between the parked cars in the busy area).

Space for 8 campers that can stay up to 48 hours and 4 campers that can stay up to 12 hours. But around the spot for 8 campers, 2 more campers parked (understandable because a few more fit around the tree). Good WiFi with which you can even watch TV. Places under the bridge are more affected by traffic. You also hear the train passing by. Melsungen is a nice town and definitely eat at Tandoori!

On Sunday, June 9, we were here with just two campers. Slept wonderfully peacefully. You are, as it were, in the residents' backyard, so it feels very safe. Read a book in the park during the day in the sun. The park is well visited by the residents of Waltrop. No facilities other than trash cans (there is a public toilet in the park).

There is now also a water tap and picnic benches have been placed 👍🏻

Have enjoyed coming here for years and know that the site could use some love. Work has currently started. I would have liked to read this on the website before I booked (and paid!). This time we stood in a large mud puddle, see photos. In addition, the work started at 7 a.m. in the morning, including large excavators right in front of our door. We paid €29.96 for a night on a paved spot with a view.

Please note: one-way traffic. Beautiful places and also spacious enough, no problem with our almost 8 meters. There are 9 spots, spots 10 and 11 are for cars and you will be fined if you park there. There is a water tap at the parking meter for the cars that can easily accommodate a jerry can or watering can. There is a large garbage bin at the parking meter for the campers. Don't buy apple pie at the monastery because they are frozen.

We were here on a Saturday in January in the 'exit parking', beautifully paved. There were a lot of cars in the normal parking lot and there was a lot of football being played. So a safe feeling. We took a beautiful walk in the late afternoon. When we returned, the first car was already in our neighborhood in which young people were using drugs. A second car soon followed. We have made the choice not to spend the night here.

Slept well but the site is very poorly maintained, see photos. Even though I was standing under the WiFi mast, the connection was poor.

Slept here on December 29. There were about 15 campers. We walked quietly to the village via a path between the camper place and the gardens. Dogs are connected on the beach and the boulevard, but on the boulevard they walked neatly on a leash with their owners and on the beach they played wonderfully loose. Indeed, there is no longer a bakery in the village, but the Spar sells baguette (located diagonally next to the Office de Tourisme).

Even though it is currently a construction site, we were very quiet. The shopping arcade has a lot of vacancies. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Unbelievable that this municipality makes such beautiful places available for free! Things to mention for people who are sensitive to sound and/or light: During the day (from 8.25 am) you hear a continuous buzzing/humming from the nearby agricultural factory, but that stops in the evening, so it is dead quiet at night. The (bright) lights next to the places went off at 11 p.m. and came back on at 4 a.m. You can buy coins for water/electricity at the local supermarket

Top campsite! We were already in the area late in the morning and received a friendly welcome at the reception. We had booked, I would recommend it to everyone because it is a popular campsite (and rightly so). Delicious baguette, can be ordered at reception for the next morning. The very best showers, heated room with wood stove. 10A electricity on site. In 15 minutes by bike to Versailles. And right next to a forest for the dog. €29,- after season

Spend the night in the camper for €40, V&E available, toilet just a 10-minute walk to the dog boarding house. The first night was a bit restless (construction noise) and the second night it was quiet, for no apparent reason. We found spending the night in that place an experience in itself 👍🏻

Friendly welcome, nice swimming pool, top sanitary facilities, 16 Ampere, excellent WiFi on site, shade and sun spots, located in a very beautiful town, all kinds of nice shops nearby, supermarket, fun cycling in the area. Beautiful campsite with lots of trees and therefore lots of shade. Beautiful swimming pool. And beautiful cycling routes. Reception is closed at lunchtime, but you will be warmly welcomed in the restaurant and you can simply find a seat. Sanitary facilities are sprayed clean with a high-pressure cleaner and not dried, so that the dirt is quickly drawn back in. Also in the late season many small children with accompanying sounds at all possible times 😇

Very nice place to park and spend the night. Toilets (eco) are very neat. Nice walk around castle. And especially the evening lighting of the castle is great! You can park and spend the night here for free with a disabled parking card. Please note: September 8, 2023 is an Imagine Dragons concert here, the stage is already busy (August 31), etc., which starts at 5:00 in the morning with quite a bit of noise.

Warm welcome at the reception! Beautiful and especially quiet campsite. At the end of the campsite, a path has been made so that you can walk (with the dog) along the Loire. ACSI can also be used in high season. Last night stood for € 21.20 with 2 people, dog, demarcated place, 16A, clean sanitary facilities. I couldn't get WiFi to work. And at the pool you get a discount as a guest, but the receptionist didn't know exactly how much. In the immediate vicinity a lot to do for children / youth. Pizzas around the corner. We will definitely come back to explore the area by bike.

Nice parking to use to visit the city. McDonalds and supermarket across the street. Within 10 walking minutes in the center Staying overnight seems less suitable to me, the fair was already being built 😅

The best place to go to the Mont! Mind you, it's always busy here. We had not made a reservation and the campsite was immediately after us. We had a great time, spent an hour at the pool every afternoon (recommended!). And went to the Mont by bike. And cycled the other way once (again recommended!).

Limited reception hours (until 11 am and after 4 pm). Very nice swimming pool and the sanitary facilities are clean, many and spacious. In the areas around the reception and swimming pool, the wifi is perfect (you can watch TV with it). The pitches are very generous in size. Beautiful walking loop of an hour around the campsite, the dog can run free. With ACSI or Huttopia card €20 per night. And with the Huttopia card (free at De Wit in Schijndel) the 10th night is free.

Beautiful camper place, space for about 20 campers (all lengths fit easily here). We slept very peacefully. Tip: the terrace of hotel de la Marine 🤩. There are no facilities at the camper place and you are not allowed to show camper behavior.

Paid €21 with ACSI card for 2 adults and a dog, including 10A, unlimited showers (delicious hot water), swimming pool and cable TV. Sanitary facilities are outdated but very clean. Directly on hiking area. The Open Air Museum and the zoo are less than 5 km away by bike. You can hear the noise of the highway in the distance, but certainly not disturbing for us.

Stood from Friday to Saturday. How we enjoyed the crowds at the hockey field on Saturday morning (matches from 8 a.m.), as you probably only see in Laren and the surrounding area. In the night some young people in the parking lot but without nuisance. We were with 6 campers, I think it is customary here. Swimming pool toilet may be used. Directly on walking area where dogs are allowed to run loose.

Positively surprised, there is a sani station! Clean water via AanUit.net. And drain gray water for free. We had never used AanUit.net before, so first the wrong number (from tap at chemical toilet instead of clean water, so paid extra euros, but learned something again 😇). Beautiful walking area where the dog can run loose. Lidl around the corner.

Nice sanitary facilities (not heated), shower (€ 0.50) with taps so that you can put the water nice and hot. Directly on a nice walking area for the dog. Price €20,- including everything (current 6A). Fifteen minutes by bike to the center of Dordrecht. For bowling, karting enthusiasts, world restaurant next door.

Sanitary facilities are open even in winter. A powerful heater has been placed near the showers. Place with 16A. After online reservation and payment you will receive a clear email with all the necessary codes. Dogs are not allowed in the park, but on the west side of the park there is a dog kennel. Also fine! Unfortunately, everything was already full on Saturday afternoon around 13:00. Looked beautiful but we had to divert to the Bosuil (also recommended). Because it was full, we had to get off in reverse, which was quite a challenge.

This campsite deserves the maximum number of stars, everything here is beautiful! Spend the night in a park-like environment, very large motorhome pitches, nice sanitary facilities. As a bonus, good WiFi. Camping is many times greener than the first photo.

We liked this campsite so much that we went again a week later. We find the three camper spots on the left of the campsite many times larger and quieter than the other spots. The sanitary facilities on the left are also beautiful. And the bread at the campsite is also worthy of five stars. Lovely cycling directly along the lakes.

There are three campers allowed. Cars drive quite fast, so you're pretty much covered in dust. Public toilet is very neat and the cold shower was wonderful in warm weather 😇. I did feel unsafe at night, with cars driving back and forth all night. During the day a lovely place between the trees.

The reviews below are correct. Nice view but even on the blocks we were not standing straight. And plumbing is really dirty: grubby shower curtain (while washable), toilet really dirty. Incomprehensible because only one room needs to be cleaned. Payment may be made in euros or crowns.

What a beautiful motorhome. Green, very spacious, just sanitary. Close to the center of Haderslev, easy to reach by bike. Not expensive, €20,- including everything. Even dog shower.

Green, quiet campsite. Like most campsites in Denmark at the price, €40 for two people, dog, camper. The new sanitary block has two nice bathrooms, but that is very little for the number of places. The old sanitary facilities are dark and musty, so hardly anyone uses them anymore. The kitchen facilities are top notch.

Wonderful place to start your trip in Denmark. Parking space for about 20 campers. After closing time of the castle (4 pm) the necessary campers leave so there is always a place to be found. Very neat toilet. And all that for €0,-

Very friendly welcome, received routes for the bike. Washing machine and dryer available, can be used for one euro for an hour. What an oasis! Three green separated places, electricity, very clean sanitary facilities. And that for €10,- stageld, €1 for electricity and €0.50 for the shower. Beautiful! If the three places between the hedges are full, you can also park your camper around. In total a place or 7/8. The meadow next to it was currently closed off with a lock. I suspect you are never allowed to park there.

Neatly cared for. Very friendly reception. I don't understand the review below very well, you can walk with the dog here, both around the campsite and through the village or along the dike. If you want shade, go to places 11 to 17.

Well worth five stars. Very clean sanitary facilities. Green campsite. Beautiful location. But if you can't stand the smell of cows (you are very close to the neighbor's cowshed in certain places) or can't stand banging your dog (you often hear the shooting from the military training area) this may not be the right place. Incidentally, you will not be bothered by air traffic here at all.

Top! Three lovely showers and neat toilets in the hotel. Very friendly staff. Pre-register at the reception and they will open the gate for you. You do have to bring an adapter with a normal earth connection, the normal blue CEE will not fit. And via lez.brussels (via the exceptions button in the main menu) you can apply for an exemption for 5 years (see photos) to be allowed to enter the environmental zone. In 5 minutes the city center by bike.

Beautiful campsite, the reviews below are correct. But the price is too high in my opinion. Low season with ANWB camping key: €25. Regular price April: €41. Dog: €6. Reservation fee: €12 The campsite was very popular with our eastern neighbors who apparently are happy to pay this price. Again, the campground is beautiful.

Very friendly owners. About 20, very spacious, 4 showers and toilets (so a lot 👍🏻). Because we are not allowed to arrive at the next campsite until 2 p.m., we were asked if we could stay here a little longer (normally 12 noon): no problem at all! This place is a must.

We have been here 3 times now. Perfect for going to Tilburg by bike. Great plumbing. Beautiful cycling routes from the campsite. We will definitely come back here.

Worth all stars but next time I will not choose the camper field in this period. Showers and toilets, but no heated sanitary facilities, lukewarm water and no possibility to grab water. So with the bike and the watering can to another sanitary building. Next time I will stand near sanitary facilities De Pyramide. Furthermore, perfectly working wifi, good washing machine and dryer, 10A current and many exits into the woods

Beautiful camper place with 6 A current. Bad WiFi reception. The shower was great, lovely hot water and warm space, even in February! If you're standing here, don't forget to go to the Frietbakkerij in Nagele, best fries ever (they are cut and pre-fried there themselves).

Magnificent! Formerly camping Elfenmeer, a small part is now Oostappen. The camping area has been renovated very nicely, only the old sanitary building has been preserved, very neat and nice hot water. Beautiful camper pitches, see photos. With ACSI €16,- but we were lucky, now 50% discount! Obviously not reserved because then you will pay reservation costs. So just call to see if there is room. Directly on the Meinweg nature reserve and dog loose forest. Perfect!

We paid €16.50 per night, ex electricity. Both toilet (free) and shower (€2,- pp) in the Solewelt building. Shower is in the pool, 8 showers in one room (Germans are all naked). Pick a spot yourself and then report to the information building (very friendly reception). Dog-free area directly at the motorhome! BEAUTIFUL HERE

We were positively surprised! Right next to the park and swimming pool (where you can also shower in addition to swimming). A ten minute walk through the park and you are in the city center. There is also a wonderful restaurant with an incredible number of choices at this parking lot. Slept peacefully (try to park immediately upon entering the camper area and not drive too far because there is a busier road). Fresh water for a fee. Sufficient waste bins.

Nothing to complain about, everything in perfect order. Beautiful demarcated places. Free choice. I don't understand some of the reviews. If the price were €25,- most would be more expensive. We stayed 3 nights. We paid €18 p/n. Every evening €1,- pp for the shower, €4,- for a washing machine (8kg!) and 2x a power coin to charge the batteries of the bicycle. Dirt cheap for this beautiful place. Highly recommended!

PERFECT! Warm welcome after telephone registration. You will receive the key to the clubhouse AND your own pantry (including toaster and crockery). Perfect sanitary. We paid €19,- incl. electricity. Approach route via park and bicycle path, so don't be alarmed. Cottbus is beautiful. And this camper place is located in the middle of a park, a stone's throw from the center.

Really worth 5 stars. We parked on the left. This used to be a normal parking lot, so campers are allowed to park across the street. Therefore a lot of space. And green. To the right was a bus parking space, so long narrow strips next to each other. But flow. Before entering, I would check if there is room, otherwise you have to pay € 2 to be able to drive off again. At Sanssouci itself you are in bus lanes so I'd rather be here for € 15 than there

After telephone reservation it was said: be there only after 4 pm but just find a spot. Because the campsite has no real places, that is quite difficult. Many permanent campers, very nice people. Right field many trees, left field good satellite reception. Super clean sanitary facilities. Beautiful cycle paths from the campsite, but quite hilly. We paid €26.50 in high season. Recommended if you want to camp just outside the busy coast.

Adventurous climb. Friendly welcome and advance reservation is possible. The place has beautiful view. But in the end it's just a dusty parking lot and your ticket clearly states: no V/E and no water (even if there is a handy tap). You can use the toilet until 10 p.m. In the morning you can buy sandwiches in the hotel.

Excellent reception by Mrs. Business neat. Campers are located directly on the driveway, in the shade (great in August) and close to the beautiful sanitary facilities. Washing machine €5,- and you can use the wires in her garden. Cycling from the village perfect but up to the village across the field to avoid busy road. In Gingst you will find everything. After a few days in Prora this was a quiet place, highly recommended!

In the middle of high season, only called a few days before departure, very nice and helpful team. Emailed the day before departure for a place in shade, also arranged for us. Sanitary building recently renovated, really beautiful! Also sanitary containers but I have never used them. Active cleaning crew that keeps everything clean. Places without power are next to the restaurant so very busy. Inevitable forest cycle path is indeed a misery.

Very spacious places for a motorhome park. Sanitary very nice and clean, but indeed 6 toilets and 6 showers are on the tight side. Close to Wismar and don't forget to go (by bike 6 km) to Insel Poel. Your day ticket is valid for 24 hours! Reservations are possible, even in high season. You can then report to the reception after checking in at the pole and then choose a place with a 'reserved' sign.

Fantastic. And first place where we had good wifi. Stayed two nights and ate twice in the restaurant. Bizarrely large portions so didn't take an appetizer for two days 😉. You think you are in an industrial area, but you are a stone's throw away in greenery. Cycle tour of 10 km return to Gothmund is highly recommended!

We used this place to visit the Schloss. €4.- paid for an afternoon parking. In 5 minutes by bike at the Schloss. Safe place thanks to many cameras. Electricity for 4 campers available. Water and drainage. In our opinion, there are always plenty of free places to park here. Today on Friday afternoon in the high season not yet half filled.

We wanted to park here for an afternoon but the place was full. You only find out when you drive on it, to get off you have to pay € 5,-. A beautiful location at the Schloss Park. Lots of greenery and beautiful views. Finally parked at Hauptbahnhof (12076) for only €4 for the whole afternoon, feeling safe because of many cameras and also electricity and water for the overnight guests. By bike in 5 minutes at the Schloss.

Large sanitary block, wonderful showers. Travemunde is really worth a visit and this site is well located. Also a large laundry room with 4 washing machines and 2 dryers.

Everything comes across as sloppy and unkempt, but sanitary facilities are clean and showers are wonderfully warm. Bike ride from the campsite towards Steinkirchen and beyond is beautiful. Unfortunately the washing machine was broken. Good for an overnight stay and then further

Great place to visit Bremen by bike (5km). Camper place outside the campsite (behind a separate barrier) for only €16,- in the high season, you pay more than double on the campsite itself and you really don't get any better there. Reservation by phone possible. Spacious bathroom with kitchen area where you could cook, never seen before. You can walk around the lake with your dog. Good dish reception.

Stayed here for two nights, great! We had the last green bucket but we saw that new campers called the canoe club and were then allowed to stand at a red bucket. So don't drive away if you think it's full but give us a call. I personally do not like showering behind a curtain, but otherwise there is nothing to criticize about the sanitary facilities. People from the canoe club are very helpful.

Warm welcome by the harbor master, what a friendly man! Toilet available from 8.00 to 22.00 and shower available from 10.00 to 22.00. Shower costs €1,- Overnight stay €10,- cash, no pin. Departure before 4 p.m., delicious! As said before, construction activity until Saturday, but super quiet from Saturday to Sunday. Not the prettiest site, but we had a great time. To be repeated!

plus points: top sanitary facilities, spacious dog free area around its own terrain, beautiful view, close to the center of Herten with supermarket and pizzeria and snack bar, 10A, good satellite reception. negatives: leveler still needed to level, no washing up possibility, no discharge of gray water, spots very close together. And € 30 per night is a lot of money.

Very nice reception! We were allowed to choose a place ourselves. Clean but outdated sanitary facilities, very hot shower water but tiny shower area. Wifi poor range. Beautiful cycling and walking routes from the campsite. Bakery and Chinese restaurant next door. But eating at the campsite is also good.

Probably there is no better campsite in Luxembourg! ACSI card is accepted, so very reasonable price. Fantastic sanitary facilities, very good wifi and very nice staff. The area is great, with the electric bike very easy to cycle. Beautiful cycle paths towards Luxembourg City and Diekirch. Free public transport throughout Luxembourg and a station in Mersch. Do not forget to visit the city park in Mersch, including dog run.

Everything simply great! We were allowed to decide what time we left on the day of departure, without extra costs. On the way there and back the camper parked at the information center Mijnweg, a lovely walking area / loose run area for dogs.

Beautiful places, good wifi, wonderfully hot shower, dog play area on the campsite, right on the hiking junction route. And restaurant Centraal in Baarlo delivers to your camper for only € 2.50 👍🏻. In short, this is the place to be for a great stay!

Very beautiful places. The spots on the edge are nice and spacious but very tight in between. And also very soggy in this season. Excellent sanitary facilities. 10 Amps of electricity. Also with 10 campers around us, perfect wifi to watch TV. Restaurant Balandra is highly recommended !! This camper place also;)

Nice reception and good help in choosing a suitable place. We were the only campers on a campsite with many labor migrants in the many chalets. The plumbing became dirty quickly (probably it was used a lot while running laundry in the perfect and spacious washing machines) and toilets were dirty and sticky. The showers were nice and warm (€ 0.50). Located directly on the forest, so great for the dog

Winter camping is recommended here. Heated sanitary facilities with hot shower! And use of microwave, very handy too;) Beautiful, spacious pitches on field A, separated by hedges and 10A electricity. With the exit at the rear of the campsite you can cycle into Renesse (which rightly promotes itself as a winter village).

Christmas holidays 2020: warm welcome, warm sanitary building, nice warm shower water, what more could a person want! With ACSI only € 18 per night. We will definitely come back here. Now also places with 6A, but in March this will be increased throughout the campsite.

Even at the end of the season: - restaurant / snack bar open. - shop open (so no problem that there are no shops in the surrounding villages). - sanitary tip top (spacious bathrooms!), no timer so you don't have to rush and mixer tap with good hot water. Beautiful camper spots, spirit level, 16A, friendly staff. Nice location on the Scheldt. Beautiful nature. Excellent cycling and walking area.

Even super hot showers in October, which can be arranged with a mixer tap. Wifi TOP! We also agree with other positive reviews 👍🏻

Friendly reception, we were allowed to choose a place ourselves. Nice large paved place, with spacious lawn. Immediately level. Only € 16 with an ACSI camping card. Water, drainage and CAI on site. The snack bar is also open in low season, tasty and easy. If I have to mention a disadvantage is that the showers cannot be regulated myself, for me the water could have been much warmer. Sanitary facilities very neat and clean. A campsite to come back to!

Advice: only book camper pitches 76 to 79 (Harles field). We stood in the camper field next to the parking lot, cabin, almost impossible to sit outside and a view of a dump for the dirty water and chemical toilet. Same rate as other (beautiful) places. Currently (September 2020) the house is being renovated and this causes noise nuisance (from early in the morning until the evening). Beautiful sanitary facilities. Green camping.

Nothing to criticize at all: excellent reception, beautiful places, clean bathrooms, good wifi. So 5 stars!
