On the way back from Spain, there was a heatwave in France. Hot hot hot! What to do? Via the coast (everything full). Go straight home (it is quite far). Campsite with swimming facilities?.... Found this one. The friendly owner spoke to me on the phone beforehand. Oui, oui, the pool is open! Bread delivery service from the bakery. Lovely pool. Don't know what it's like in the high season, but for now, perfect! Cycled to the village further down the road via the old railway line; flat, no cars. Great.
