We visited this campsite for five days. It's open until the end of September. It's a great, large campsite with a warm welcome. Spacious pitches, excellent sanitary facilities, and a nice small swimming pool. You can also walk to the adjacent lake from this campsite to relax and enjoy the warm weather, and even fish. Overall: highly recommended for anyone who enjoys peace and quiet.

As previously written, a great place. Remember that it is also a parking lot for locals, so do not block these spots by parking your camper in multiple places. There are actually only a maximum of 4 places for campers up to 7 meters in the rear area near the church. There is water and you can discharge waste water there. To empty the toilet you must raise the lid. See photo of me (15.04.2024)

Recently a paid camper place, costs 6 Euro per 24 hours. Flat terrain and a view of the Mosel on the other side of the road. No facilities but a great place with opportunities for cycling and walking.

This place is actually a parking lot, but campers are also allowed. When we arrived the place was for the most part filled with cars belonging to the residents. The place is suitable for staying overnight and perhaps also for walking or cycling from this place (steep down and up again). there is nothing else. No facilities either, but a beautiful environment and silence, both at night and during the day.

Very nice place. We arrived 6pm and were the 3 spots occupied by 4 campers that fit within the lines. We then went to stand on the paved spot opposite, and then went to eat at the Japanese restaurant / snack bar. When we returned, there were a total of 8, 2 of which were in the parking lot for the cars. It would be better if you had to pay for the places (5 euros, for example) and expand the number of places. No amenities is okay.

April 27th. Nice place, also for several days. You can enjoy walking around the grounds and the water features and streams. Also cycling in the quiet area. Overnight stay 4€ per night excl. electricity. Toilet and washing up in the extra room. There is also a tent for shelter. The bakery that is being written about ... not seen!?

April 25, 2022 There is now a prohibition sign at the indicated spot. We therefore asked at the local bakery if we could spend the night there in the parking lot opposite, and that was no problem. See also the photos.

Ideal for those who have everything on board for a few days of rest, and are not dependent on plumbing and electricity. The nearest town Ervidel can easily be reached by bike. At the reservoir you can take beautiful walks, where no one will disturb you. The goat farmer's dogs, mentioned in previous reviews, are very tame and guard the goats and the environment and also come to visit you. Really fun! And plenty of space!

Most of the previous reviews about the situation of the site are correct, but are only of interest to those who are actually looking for a campsite. I think this is an excellent place with all the possibilities that nothing stands in the way of a longer stay here. Everything nearby and at the motorhome a nice restaurant in the former train station. From the back, you can board and pay for the train. The English manager will give you all the information.

November 1, although closed, the harbor master came to collect. Paid 10.50 in total for camper and 2 people and thought, you can't say anything about that because according to the app you can, among other things, empty to the toilet for free, and free WiFi and also wash dishes with cold water. Unfortunately none of this. Everything closed even no water for cleaning the chemical toilet. Before 20.50 a toilet is allowed to open and a little water too. Or? Unfortunate.

September 28, 2021. Great free place, even for non-members of the French winegrowers. Of course, buying wine is appreciated, but not mandatory.

Great place visited on June 20, 2021. The place has been adjusted in recent years, that's why most of the photos are wrong. I am now posting a few current photos. The site is still free of charge and there are now 10 campers here. The maximum length of a camper is 7 meters. Not suitable for really large motorhomes.

3 official beautiful neat spots on a small lake with various picnic tables and benches. Also to visit the open air swimming pool directly from the parking lot. If it is not too busy by the pool, there are also more places for the campers. We were there for two nights July 5 and 6, 2020. Incidentally, you can also find a beautiful walking area

Great place to spend the night and you can also eat delicious food in various places. There are also a number of stores and also bakers. The assessments up to 2019 are no longer objective. The site is now completely paved and there is no question of a lawn where dogs are being walked. You can discharge your toilet and water at this location, but there is no water tap.

A quiet place in the vicinity of a lake. Free of charge but a request for a voluntary contribution that you can deposit in the letterbox at the town hall. See the address on the information board on the motorhome. Maximum places six but fairly close together.

Simple quiet place without facilities. We were there with 4 campers. Visited a few surrounding places by bike. A great destination for our purpose.

We have been there over the Easter days. as indicated earlier, the place is directly on the railway line and a train passes by twice a day during the day. Absolutely not really disturbing and at night we didn't hear any. Furthermore, not a luxury motorhome but meets our requirements. We do not need electricity etc. If you need electricity and sanitation, this place is not suitable.

On Tuesday, October 2, this motorhome (actually a large parking lot) in transit. Great place for this purpose. On this Tuesday there was also a Pizza box truck with large delicious Pizzas. Also at this place at the "Marie post office" a very just public toilet block with sink.

The sanitary is (still) at the indicated coordinate points. Directly opposite the camper place, way down, you come in a suburb of Santiago, here you can eat out for little money. A three course menu cost us including 2 glasses of wine and a cup of coffee P / p 15 euros. With bicycle to the old center 25 min.

Nice quiet spot on a mixed parking lot by the lake. Toilet is freely accessible but for shower you need to buy a 10-card card that you can use at several ports. You can rent bicycle boats but of course swim in good weather. Restaurant, pub and small shop in the surrounding area.

We were early June at the camp and were on the road side. We were kindly received and did not pay € 32 but € 20 without power. There is a good bus service into town. Bus stop across the road from the campsite. Definitely an alternative to the RV place? (Parking lot) in Galway where you spend 24 hours parking quickly € 30 euros.

This place is ideal for when you have to wait some time on the ferry to Dublin. And ideal if you arrive by ferry in the middle of the night.

Following the message below. We she been there several times and find it a great place and so often there is nobody present but not important. If at the time of arrival no one, can you just stand there. Where to stand clearly indicate. There's probably someone.
