The NKC front page says the campsite is ‘closed today’, while their website states it is open until Oct 12. Called, and it’s actually open. Must have slipped in somewhere. Nice, small-scale campsite. Cozy spots.

You come here for the village through which the Camino also passes. There was a lively atmosphere, a number of shops, nice bars on Plaza Mayor, and several pleasant places to eat. Also some sights (church open in the evening) and even an exhibition. We were pleasantly surprised and had not expected this. Friendly locals and wonderfully authentic Spanish. Worth the climb.

What wonderful peace and quiet in this hamlet with more stray cats than inhabitants (only 20 residents). Cat lovers: please bring kibble for these sweet little cats. Put it down somewhere (they drink a water bowl empty in no time), they really need it and are very grateful to you.

What a lovely spot in this beautiful village. Just around the corner, less than 100 meters away, is a modern, slightly luxurious restaurant, Asador Mar y Tierra, where we had a delicious meal for a very reasonable price. Wonderful croquettes of grilled chuleton and Pluma Iberica. Generous portions. You can also have a cup of coffee or a sandwich on the terrace. Very professional service. We cycled via Navaridas to Laguardia; it was perfectly doable with e-bikes.

Quiet spot, free, easy to reach, easy disposal of everything, and for €1 a vending machine with tools and a bicycle pump to use.

Choose your own spot, report to the harbour office. €13 all-in. The bakery Au Bon Pain next door is very convenient for a camper. Besides bread, they also sell sweets, sandwiches, ready-made meals, various desserts, etc. It looks very well-maintained.

We love this! Freedom and happiness. Arrive and depart whenever you want (except Sundays) without checking in or out, pay when it suits you, peace and quiet—dead silent at night with the occasional beautiful, strange bird sounds—friendly owners, a reasonable price in beautiful surroundings. You do need to be self-sufficient. Cycle nodes 1 or 66 are about 1.5 km away by bike.

Great location and easy access. At the roundabout near the main gate, follow the sign: SALLE JEAN FAVRE. The camper sign isn't particularly noticeable there.

Stunning! And so close to the beautiful village, which is called the most Scottish village in Italy by Italian migrants who came to Scotland to work in the 20th century and returned years later, bringing with them certain Scottish customs. Everything here is perfectly arranged by the lovely Francesca. The beautiful garden is well-maintained, and the graywater disposal is easy and ultra-modern with sprinklers.
