What a fantastic location! We enjoyed the hospitality and the lovely facilities. Very close to the city and yet surrounded by greenery. We also participated in a very well-organized pizza evening, which was a great success and a lot of fun. We would love to come back again. John & Renée from Zaandam

Lovely quiet campsite with large pitches, some with a view of the fishing pond. Graham (owner for 3 months) does everything to make you feel at home. We ate with them twice and had a very nice evening with all the (mostly English) guests. Sanitary facilities a bit old, but working fine and very clean. Otherwise everything tiptop in order.

What a beautiful place: beautiful camping spots in all shapes and sizes, good sanitary facilities, friendly welcome (in English), washing machine and dryer (we got two coins without asking because it wouldn't work so well; that was actually very nice!), bread service and with a view of the beautiful castle. Village with nice restaurants and castle within walking distance. Can't think of anything negative!

Only a few camping pitches between all the rest of the mobile homes with permanent guests. Friendly welcome, otherwise quiet camping. Sanitary facilities fairly new, but the only (!) shower barely drained. We found Hesdin (within cycling distance) disappointing. We could empty the chemical toilet under a tile at the toilet building, without any further tap/water. Water from the dishes and laundry were cold.

What a treat to be here with the camper! A warm welcome and a beautiful place to stand. Lots of space and always a beautiful view. We even spotted deer. The sanitary facilities are immaculate and the soup on Friday (6.50 pp) was delicious! We would love to come back again.
