We stood here in the summer of 2018 after a long remember at the Hungarian-Serbian border. The hostess speaks good English and offered to cook Goulash for us. For a small amount we could sit down at the table. Breakfast is also possible in the morning! A neat campsite with good managers and clean sanitary! The only point of criticism: there are not many shady spots (awning out!).

Location, location, location. That is what makes this stopping place good. Right in front of the museum and within (firm) walking distance of the old city. The caretaker is a guide and can provide a tour of the old town (for a fee - approximately € 18 excluding entrance). Like everywhere in Turkey, alcohol is expensive. We stayed one night and that was fine. Navigation on the coordinates brought us 250 meters further.

We stayed here one night on the way to Turkey. The campsite is well situated as a 'transit camp'. Plumbing is clean and the installation sites are, very handy, concrete. No messing around with spirit levels and blocks! The Lidl is not at 1.5 km, but at 8 km in Haskovo! We drove to Dimitrovgrad (en route to Edirne) and smashed into the 'Janet'.

The view ...... phenomenal. Camping itself is an 8 (unpaved places with level difference), but the view is unique, therefore a 9. Sanitary is clean, but one shower per gender is limited for this popular place. Agv delay at the borders I had to adjust my travel plan late at night; there was still room at this campsite. I would love to come back here to enjoy the view.

Camping started a few years ago, so there are few shady spots due to young plantings (therefore not 10, but a 9). The plumbing is sufficient and their own wine delicious. The owner and his sons are incredibly friendly and helpful, real hosts. They took us to tourist places (Avala mountain) and shops. Perfect place to unwind under the smoke of Belgrade.

The campsite is an excellent stopover - I would choose this again. The Turkish border is about 40 - 60 minutes away. Sanitary and care of the campsite is excellent. The owners are friendly and helpful. The village itself is nothing, although the approaching end is fascinating. Within walking distance a small, friendly shop with Bulgarian basics (beer and wine, and morning bread).
