CamperContact states it is open today. However, the campsite turned out to be closed. I found on the website that the campsite was open until today (so not up to and including today). The one star is therefore not for the campsite, but for the information in the app.

It is indeed a very nice motorhome, as others have already described. We were there from 8 to 10 July. We were on the field, which you see when you drive up. That weekend you could hear the N273 on that field all day and evening, along which the site lies. At night it was not so bad.

The grounds are beautiful. I find the location bad in the elbow between the A1 and the N350. We found the N350 especially very noisy. You shouldn't be here for silence. I also doubt the concept. Weddings, team outings, presentations, safari tents, Scandinavian log cabins and, oh yes, a few camping pitches too. We hit a wedding, so until the wee hours snatches of music and bass. For us once and never again.

Beautiful forest campsite. Spacious places. Sanitary consists of prefab units. Each unit has a toilet and shower. So when someone takes a shower, the toilet is also occupied and vice versa. There is 1 washing-up area. Note: the prices do not include 9% VAT! The adjacent road to Hoenderloo is clearly audible, but at night it is dead quiet here. Busy Otterlo is around the corner and you can enjoy cycling and walking here.

I'm not sure what to think of this campsite. The photos in which the planting is still low are old, because that planting is now at least 2.5 meters high. The facilities are functional. For waste you get a garbage bag for PMD and one for the rest from the owner. You can throw empty bottles yourself in the glass container at the supermarket. Few guests, while all other campsites are full.

We were warmly received by the owner. She guided us to our place next to the stable and gave a detailed explanation. Due to the corona crisis, we were not affected by air traffic. However, I found the operating sounds and smells quite annoying. I think it will bother you less on the bigger field. Haarlem is easily accessible by bicycle, as is the AH in Spaarndam.

See the previous reviews for all positive points. WiFi is really great. Not only a good signal, but also ample capacity. Many traffic noises.

Good campsite, but with a poor price-quality ratio. Too expensive for what they offer, even though it's a great base for visiting Copenhagen. You cannot control the temperature of the showers yourself and that is too high when it is 28 degrees. For the money you pay it would be nice if you could choose your shower temperature yourself. All windows in the sanitary buildings are closed.
