This campsite is halfway up the side of a mountain and as such the road to it is steep and full of hairpins. The roads in the campsite are even steeper and narrower. Longer camper vans might find it difficult, not for the faint hearted. The price indicated in Camper Contact is wrong, we were charged CHf 52.00 for a stay of one night. The views across the valley are stupendous.

This site no longer exists. Two thirds of the area has been allocated to bus and coach parking, the other third has been cordoned off for supermarket customers only. The is a parking possibility at the end of the railway station building.

Surprisingly quiet for a town parking at a week-end even though there is an adjacent bouladrome and kiddies play area.

22/08/2016 M&J Hardened gravel surface. Mixed parking area. Cars, Campers, Coaches and Lorries. Used as a short cut by locals to avoid the traffic island. Overall, good stop-over. All facilities free. Quiet at night although the gravel began crunching at 06:30 as traffic started to move.Right next to a football pitch could make life interesting at weekends.

05/07/2016 Large grass rectangles with gravel driveways between. Fairly level, room for 50+ vehicles. Interesting smells from either of the two adjacent farms. Terrain could become boggy after heavy rain.
