Full marks. You can't get more central to this wonderful city. Arrive early (9-10 am) and with a little luck, you'll snag a spot. It's a tight squeeze, but why are you standing here? Precisely to explore Hamburg and everything it has to offer. The parking area is managed by very friendly staff. You can buy your ticket here for €12.50. Simply fantastic. Let's hope this option remains available. So please, no complaints and keep it clean.

Full marks. The site is very centrally located, making it easy to walk into town. You can conveniently pay using either the EasyPark or Parkster app (€17.50 or €15.50). Waste disposal is also available. With a little luck, you might even get a spot overlooking the canal. Very quiet overnight.

The communal shower is okay. Nobody knows why it's set up like this. Water and waste disposal are located outside the pitches. Please refer to the pitch map. Check-in and check-out are via mobile phone. Read everything carefully and, above all, don't forget to check out, otherwise you'll be charged a hefty penalty fee. The town is within walking distance. Despite some critical reviews, we went. 250 SEK. No water or waste disposal. Toilet okay. Showers rather moldy. Washing machine and dryer dirty. But unbeatable proximity to the city. And a great view of the water from the campervan. Only a brief engine noise on Wednesdays, then absolutely quiet. A case of luck or misfortune.

160 SEK without electricity. Complete water and waste disposal included. That's okay. When you park in reverse, you have a view of the water. Lots of nature and peace and quiet (though many places are already closed now), as is so often the case at campsites in Scandinavia. This campsite is no exception. Although officially open until September 6th, all but one of the sanitary facilities are closed. The open one has communal showers with curtains. They were clean. The grey water drain is clogged. Fresh water access is hidden. You can manage with everything. It's just like old campsites. Only the price of €30 per night without electricity is unreasonable.

In short: Clean, great view of the water. Water and waste disposal facilities are complete. Unfortunately, the washing machine and dryer are only available for a fee. And at 300 NOK including electricity, it's okay.

If you only consider the water and waste disposal facilities and the two showers, then you could probably give it three stars. The terrible gravel surface is actually advantageous in the rain. The town is quick and easy to reach. There's also electricity. 500 NOK is fundamentally unreasonable for this completely unsupervised and neglected site. But if it fits into your plans, then it's a personal decision whether to stay or leave.

It's always a matter of expectations. Yes, you're standing on a huge stone slab, and yes, the water and waste disposal facilities are inadequate. We paid €113 for two nights. But the site allows you to reach this beautiful city on foot in a very short time. Parking a campervan in the city center is neither practical nor free. So, a hefty fee 🤣 for a parking space near the city.
