Wonderful campsite! Quiet, well-kept, spacious pitches with electricity, water tap. Excellent sanitary facilities, washing machine and dryer also available. Beautiful surroundings with many hiking opportunities, such as a gorge with a waterfall. The village of Lydford has a great pub with pretty terraced garden. Minus point: no CCC discount, while it is indicated on camper contact. We paid £37 per night.

We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but it turned out to be 3. Super relaxed atmosphere at this quite large nature campsite. We are more of the mini campsites, but we also like this very much because of the atmosphere and messy setting. You can enjoy swimming in the adjacent river and the canoe is also ready. Furthermore, many walks in the area and even paragliding. Because the sanitary facilities can be cleaned more often, one asterisk less.
