We stayed on the nice field with our campervan and small extra tent. There are plenty of permanent pitches otherwise. Bread roll service. One key per pitch for sanitary facilities and washing-up area is a bit limited. The key for the ladies' showers works poorly. See website for prices (camper + tent + per person). Very nice Italian restaurant, practically next to the campsite.

The (Dutch half of the) campsite owners were very helpful and assisted with driving up to a nice spot, even though everything seemed full. Beautiful location. The shower time per coin is not indicated; it is approximately 4 minutes.

Great campsite. Book via the system. It did take some searching on the map to see where there seemed to be grass next to the camper pitch, due to my son's small tent. Nice location. Download the Skyssapp for public transport to Bergen, for both tickets (senior tickets available 😉) and times. You see, you cannot buy tickets from the bus driver. A ticket for zone A is valid for 1 hour after purchase. There is a Spar and a gas station/bakery near the campsite.

This feels like "wild camping with amenities". Wonderfully quiet, beautiful view. Good washing-up facilities. Kettle. Washbasins with hot water. Showers 10 NOK for 3 minutes. Scattered, paved pitches and space for a small tent next to the camper. At reception: just ring the bell.

Beautifully situated, with a stunning view of the fjord and the lights on the other side in the evening. There are all different types of pitches, giving you the feeling that it is your own little corner. The campsite manager is helpful in finding what suits you. We needed a bit of extra grass for a small tent next to ours. Sanitary facilities are fine. Tip: during the summer season, there is an Anglican service on Sunday mornings (10 am) in the beautiful St. Olaf's Church in Balestrand.

Larger campsite. Facilities fine. View beautiful. Quite dark though, especially because the fog dropped into the valley last night. It had rained heavily: the grass was unexpectedly rutted in quite badly in some places (especially by the river side) (a muddy sight). The driving path also had potholes filled with water.

Nice campsite, but strict rules: a mandatory distance of 4m, so my son's tent was not allowed on the camper pitch but had to go to another field (meaning double payment). Limited sanitary facilities. The outdoor kitchen only has cold water. There is a fine washing-up area inside. Bread service (warm bread)! Dirty water was discharged into the street drains surrounding the grass camper field. They cannot handle it, with the result that the grass was very muddy.

There are two campsites one after the other: Rauland and, a little further along the other side of the road, "Hagen". The owner of Hagen also manages Rauland. We found it to be a nice little campsite. Admittedly, there are many permanent pitches, but grass for transient campers. No luxury, but the sanitary facilities are fine. Washing-up and cooking area with good hot water. Tip: a circular walk at Raulandsakedemiet (1 hour) with coffee and freshly baked 'boller' in the Telemarkstunet.

Great spot on the grass, plenty of space. Sanitary facilities warm and clean. Showers are included in the price (350 NOK). Common area with only one washing-up area, but very hot water and we didn't have to wait very long. Kettle, oven, microwave, and dishwasher for those who wish to use them.

"Space for campers, caravans, and tents on an estate/park grounds" is a better description than simply 'campsite'. Lots of peace and space, nice to walk around the grounds (there are more paths than you think!) Sanitary facilities and washing-up area are also fine.

Great place to stay for one night. In addition to other tips (regarding the service area for tourists): the neighborhood on the north side of the main road is the Hollenderbyen (connection with the Netherlands). The laundry room on the left is a family room with a toilet, shower, sink, and plenty of space!

See previous descriptions. Surprising and nice place to stay for a night. Very quiet and nice view. The condition is that you are completely self-sufficient. There are no facilities. Money (€10) can be put in the mailbox or handed to the friendly lady who comes to check on you. You can WhatsApp or SMS your license plate number. Watch out for the cat; he is cute, but before you know it, he might be licking your food.

Great place for a few nights. Due to the quiet season, parts of the restrooms were closed, but there was plenty of space. Good sanitary facilities, dishwashing area, waste disposal area, etc. The campsite is situated on two sides of a (narrow) road. There are heated restrooms on both sides! The left side of the campsite is beautifully situated along the water (behind the restrooms). Cycling to Haarlem city center takes about 15 minutes. The dead-end road is accessible for cyclists. Bicycles are available for rent.

We were here for the second time. It was a great place. Beautiful views, beautifully situated in the countryside. All amenities are available, even if they are basic. It was great that we could pitch a small tent next to the camper. Beautiful cycling paths and routes. Deventer is easy to visit.

The entrance didn't feel cluttered. 120 spaces is incorrect. There are about 60 spaces in addition to the permanent spaces and possibly in front of the barrier. Restrooms are good, clean, and sufficient (it was quiet). Expansion is underway. Lots to see, separate playground, quiet. Reception was unattended (contrary to the information provided), so I left the sandwich money in the mailbox. For safe cycling to town, ask for directions. Perfect for passing through.

I inquired about a pitch the day before by email. I received an offer immediately. I ended up staying 5 nights. Beautiful views from the campsite. The sanitary facilities are good and spacious, and there are plenty of them. There's a good dishwashing area, bread service, and a small snack bar. Children's playground. Paved pitches (less suitable for tent pegs). Enjoy cycling along the Iller River towards Oberstdorf or north (even with a regular bike). Tip: take the train to Lindau Island via the Algau Pass.

We hadn't booked anything and still found a spot. Checking in during lunch via the ticket machine worked well. The map showed which spots were available. €16 for the campervan and €8.50 per person. Pitch C-34, with a view of the water, but also in much-needed shade. Paying for the sandwiches all at once at the end of the day is convenient. The restrooms were excellent. Card: €5 topped up, 2 showers: €3.45 refund! NB: A separate CP didn't appeal to us!

A very nice place with a beautiful view. Not officially indicated with a sign. At the front a paved area with space to stand with a number of people next to each other. We stood along the path on a semi-paved area next to a picnic table. You walk straight into the nice town with restaurants, shops etc. At night you can hear the rushing of the waterfall at the large building (former grain warehouse?)

Review by Deleted-user is incorrect! There is no login column, no toilet etc. €5 - put it in a locker or just give it to the farmer who is doing a round. Very quiet place to stay overnight. A 'parking lot' where you can put your table and chairs. See aerial photo. There is a grey water discharge point and water is available at the farm (didn't do that).

Stayed here one night. It turned out to be a really nice site. Dishwashing area and sanitary facilities very comfortable. In addition to showers and toilets also a separate cabin with sink. Good base for cycling tours (all kinds of information available). Nice, helpful hostess.

Price: €10 per place and €10 pp. Conveniently located for transit. nice little campsite. Sanitary facilities are fine. Building is old (especially the roof of the women's department). Good washing option: hot water via a geyser.
