Everything other reviewers wrote is still true. We were here in September 2026. It's called a mini-campsite, but it's maxi in every way. Space, greenery, peace, all amenities without extra charge, and a 10-minute bike ride from the heart of Uden. Very relaxed owners. If it were like this everywhere, we would be traveling through paradise.

Everything is perfect here: a friendly and helpful welcome, a cozy atmosphere in the orchard, clean and tidy, soap and toilet paper in the restrooms, good showers, a restaurant on site, Roermond by bike in 15 minutes, and yet wonderfully quiet amidst beautiful nature. You can cycle to a German nature reserve in 10 minutes. Highly recommended.

Indeed, a beautifully situated campsite in the woods. However, there are definitely downsides: We parked our camper on pitch 206 in the loose sand. It was impossible to get the car level. The large area with predominantly permanent caravans is dilapidated, shabby, and not maintained anywhere. We absolutely did not see the fact that ACSI gives this campsite an honorable mention reflected on site. There was continuous annoying music on the terrace. We stayed one night.

Large, spacious, quiet, and beautifully situated on a former estate with tall trees and plenty of shade. Friendly managers. Bus stop to Leuven is a 5-minute walk away. The bus journey takes 35 minutes. Wi-Fi is mediocre, but who needs it in a place like this? Limited sanitary facilities, but spotlessly clean. Despite many campers heading to Rock Werchter, there was almost always a shower or toilet available. Do bring your own toilet paper! Bergendal is highly recommended!

Superlatives fall short for this amazing campsite. Spacious pitches, peace and quiet, clean, a choice of open-field pitches or privacy, beautifully landscaped and maintained, very hospitable and relaxed owners. I call this a maxi-campsite. Everything is perfect. We have extended our stay!

Reserved by phone. Very friendly welcome. The retired owner even came to put a doormat out. They are no longer an official campsite, but there is still room for 4 campers. Why 4 stars if there is no shower or toilet? Because you can already tell that when you go there. Ideal location for Bruges. A fifteen-minute bike ride straight ahead and you are there. Pay β¬20 + β¬5 for electricity in cash.
