great site offering beautiful expansive views over the Chilterns...hard standing is limited but plenty of room in the paddocks... complimentary shower token as well as tea and coffee a nice touch. deducted a star for no recycling...or none that I saw

great place to park up for the night..very quiet on a Saturday night in March....no services but there is a clean toilet near the gates to the park. the town is definitely worth a wander..

very handily placed if you need to catch an early ferry....close to the beach but that's pretty much all it's got going for it...

Over the years this spot was always an oasis of calm during the transient winter months..all over now as it’s got tighter security than Fort Knox..you can still enter if you’re prepared to pay €18 a day with no camping overnight..but I’m not RIP

Actually ended up here due to a map reading misunderstanding but enjoyed our one night stay. Level..hard standing places for vans with a water tap nearby. All the facilities are clean and well looked after. Maybe a little too manicured for some but families will appreciate the carefully laid out site. Great walk along a relatively quiet road to beautiful Coverack Paid £17 for a night in July.. 2 people..no electric

Slightly convoluted route to the park up but worth persevering ..it’s compact and quiet

Wonderful campsite..an abundance of hot water in both the showers and dishwashing area..clean toilets..decent enough WiFi signal..pitches are maybe on the lean side but plenty of green options if you want to get the chairs out..

Good place to stop for the night..all amenities apart from electric and the toilet block in the adjacent park was open and useable

Hard to beat for a sea view and stunning sunsets..not much open at this time of year except on a Saturday..the trip to the lighthouse is worth it and there’s plenty of walking options..recycling and rubbish bins nearby

The reviews for this place are misleading...this parking area and a couple of others nearby offer fantastic views and access to some great beaches but what it won’t do is guarantee a park up for the night. The area is part of the Paraje Natural Acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gordo and it is patrolled zealously by Park Rangers who are seasoned professionals at moving people on..but not always..

Handy stopover for the night..plenty of room to park up..the wind was howling across the reservoir the night we stayed so our forays outside were quick and limited..great panoramic view

Large car park on the fringes of a pleasant town..the walk up to the castle is worth it for the views alone..and the old town when you get amongst it is interesting and enjoyable..

Simple and friendly site..all the amenities clean and working..bread to order is available and a helpful sheet of local information issued..there is some traffic noise but that eases up by the evening..

Big car park with just two spots for motorhomes squeezed in down at the end..almost as an afterthought..mind you can’t believe anybody would object wherever you parked..recycling bins available as well as water and other services..good views but felt like I was parked on the South Bank Centre

Small but compact park up..the town and surrounding area are beautiful and definitely worth taking sometime to explore..particularly the ruined castle which offers some great panoramic views..water available from a tap just opposite the parking..toilet available in the Community centre just up the hill

Decent stop off for the night..easy to find and relatively peaceful come the evening..toilet over the road in the bus station if needed

Good level park up on the edge of town..very quiet and an easy walk to the castle even if it was closed when we were there...water fountain nearby plus a bin

At this time of year plenty of room in the area reserved for vans in the car park..a short walk to the city which is stunning..had a very peaceful time wandering around the Secret Garden..

Handily placed if you’ve just got off the evening ferry at Le Harve...which goes some way in explaining it’s popularity l’d imagine..we managed to squeeze in at the last vacant spot...the nearby town was vibrant...but the close proximity of the busy road towering above you was a minus

Excellent stopover..plenty of room down near the river to park up..bins and water nearby..tranquil setting..the town looked like it was an interesting place to wander..but when we were there the weather was dire so another time.. small market on a Thursday morning..

Not a great position as it’s just off the road and in a slight dip so no view of the canal which is a shame..when we arrived the majority of the area for camper vans was taken up by numerous inert fairground rides and an array of accompanying vehicles..we moved on..

A good overnight stop..level parking in a tidy and well kept corner on the edge of town..plenty of water available..the adjacent auberge appears to be permanently closed..

Just about average..although the weather was pretty grim the night we stayed...so probably didn’t see it at it’s best..

Disappointed that there was no hot water in any of the showers..no place to hang your clothes while braving the water temperature while having a shower..no area to wash your dishes..no provision for electric hookup in my van so even at € 4.00 a night it didn’t feel like money well spent

No frills and functional..

Brilliant..what a spot..friendly staff..unsurpassed views..all the facilities..a bar that’s almost always open and which serves..a sumptuous lunchtime menu of the day which was incredibly popular with the locals...beautiful coastal walks..and incredible value for money..1 person..1 van..no electric..€10.40 a night..if you want a shower use the new block in the site not the one by the bar..

Wasn’t expecting such an enjoyable stop..some of the photos posted are less than flattering..granted you’re on the edge of a housing estate..but as the position is elevated the views across the valley are wonderful..as is the town..masses of glorious old buildings to admire..plenty of walks and an immensely helpful T.O. which supply the free services tokens if you need them.

Not bad..although even at this time of year very busy at the weekend..packed tighter than sardines in a tin..don’t think I’d bother in the summer months..the town is stunning though and worth exploring every nook and cranny..

Marginally better than average..a flat elevated position..and once the boy racers on their trials bikes had become bored with racing around ..relatively peaceful..however the town appears to be in a state of perpetual slumber..although the drive through the National Park is absolutely stunning..

Ghastly..not much to redeem either the park up or the town..granted the car park is big..free and close to the main attraction and the walls that encompass the city are impressive but that’s your highlights right there..what was and still is in places a beautiful city has been ruined by modern unsympathetic development being allowed to encroaching into areas it has no right to be..

After the disappointment of Avila..this is how the preservation of a beautiful town should be done..a joy to walk around..plenty to see and the buildings you want to have a nosy around open and welcoming..the cathedral being the obvious highlight..park up is flat conveniently situated with water tap..bit of noise from the early commuter traffic..and orange streetlights the only minus points..

Marvellous spot...handily placed for the walk into town. Plenty of room beneath the trees..the shower block is reminiscent of a 70’s sports centre..but everything spotlessly clean and in good working order with an abundance of hot water..amazing value for money.

Excellent camper stop..purpose built and benefiting from that foresight..one small quibble would be the size of the toilet cubicle..on the snug side.

They’re not bothered but then where else are you going to stay so close to town?

Loved this site..genuine friendly welcome..mint tea brought to the van in the morning..bread man also does his rounds about the same time..good varied pitches..and while some of the fixtures and fittings have a tendency to come away in your hands while you’re using them everything works..

Beautiful places to park up amongst the trees in blossom..friendly staff..a little bit of patience needed to feel the benefit of the hot water from the showers..clean

An easily missed gem..might have seen slightly grander days..but everything works and the showers are hot..run by a lovely family.

Marvellous place to spend a day or two..in amongst the palms so plenty of shade available..facilities are good.Some nice additional touches..mat and table for outside the van if you want them and free bread in the morning.

Good when everything comes together..although there seemed to be a general air of apathy towards the area for camper vans..only shower behind door number 3 appeared to have any hot water..and on our second day here for most of it there was no water of any temperature..toilets were clean and the WiFi strength good

a really good place to rest up for a few days..hot powerful showers are most welcome and the toilets are clean..plenty of fresh water available and although the wi fi strength can be intermittent it’s normally good enough to reach the whole park..plenty of space..numerous options for getting into Sidi Ifni which is definitely worth a visit.

Well run camper stop..spotlessly clean in the shower and toilet block..a varied procession of vendors hoping to cater for your every need..but for some inexplicable reason the site always seems to be home to a number of small yapping dogs tied to their owners camper van barking at everything that comes into view..irritating.

Excellent stop just back from the beach and terrific value for money..all the amenities available apart from drinking water..wi fi added this year..fresh bread in the morning...with the usual visitations from numerous vendors..fish always a good purchase here.

One of the best car park stops you could wish for..it all runs very smoothly thanks to the gardien who keeps a watchful eye on everything. A large number of vendors come by everyday..the cakes and fish tajine in particular are a worthy purchase. Toilet..bins and water available.

Third stop here over the last couple of years..ideally placed before making the hop across to Morocco..all the facilities you could wish for..kept clean and the whole site is efficiently run..good value at €20 a night for van and 2 people.

A pleasant stay for a day in January..£23.50 for the night..1 van 2 people. The pitch’s are on the lean side..toilets clean as are the showers the latter having plenty of hot water. Also plenty of hot water in the dishwashing area although the absence of any plugs in the sinks always strikes me as encouraging wastefulness. Quiet.

Fantastic camper stop..every amenity you could want and close to excellent bakery for fresh bread in the morning. Friendly and helpful lady who collects the money and keeps everything spotless.

Good spot to park up especially out of season as there is very little other traffic about. The nearby bus station has a toilet although the building is closed at night. Pleasant town to walk around.

Quiet on site at this time of year..but the facilities are excellent..an abundance of hot water..the heating in the shower block being particularly welcome.Some traffic noise from the nearby road during the day but didn’t notice it come the evening.

Pleasant onedayer..toilet nearby and the town is quickly reached up the hill and a terrific place to wander aimlessly..

There are a number of parking spots dotted around the lake and a campsite..ok and quiet for one night..the views are fairly spectacular.

Friendly welcome and plenty of shaded places to choose from..the food was ok but would recommended eating at lunchtime and not in the evening..showers could do with a clean..

An easy 10..the gates were locked when we arrived but if you phone the number on the paper attached to them either Gennario or his daughter will be there in 5 minutes to open them up for you..The toilets and showers are spotlessly clean but at present only cold water available.The views from the Sosta are beautiful...and the town has everything you need..fantastic people running this camper stop..

Visited for one night on the 10/8/18..and everything was open..a trifle noisy in the early evening as there was an event on in the town..but once it had finished and everyone had gone home it was a peaceful evening..the climb to the top of the old town is well worth it for the view..

quiet spot at night but popular during the day with people visiting the Abbey..there are some good walks nearby..

Pretty quiet once all the people jogging around the car park have gone home..supermarket opposite and toilet inside..one treat after another..

A great stop..some of the facilities might be showing their age..but everything works..everything is clean and the welcome is warm.Giovanni is a prince and will happily chauffeur you to and back from the beach for free..

7 for the park up but the view is a solid 10...an abundance of wasps around the van when we were there at the beginning of August...if you park too near the Nature Reserve entrance you stand a good chance of getting boxed in should you want to leave before the sun goes down..

Big impersonal site..couldn’t wait to leave.€28 a night with a good view of the main road..that will be another €2 if you want a quieter pitch by the lagoon..WiFi is another €5.On the plus side..plenty of showers and toilets and well placed for a visit to Alghero

Good spot..offering a small sandy beach..kiosk..bar..restaurant and a toilet nearby.The meter was out of order when we stayed for one night so a free quiet evening.

Slightly off the beaten track..but well worth the effort. Serenity can be found in this immaculate campsite. Good food available from the restaurant onsite.

Lovely place to stay..and while the campsite may be small in size the warmth and generosity by the family that have built..and run this place is huge.

One of the best campsites we stayed at in Morocco. Situated in a beautiful area. The best showers..clean with plenty of hot water at all times. True Moroccan hospitality shown by all the family that work there.

I would only stay here if you’re either too tired to drive any further or don’t want to drive at night.
