Beautiful campsite, ideal as a stopover on your way to or from the north. Lovely playground and a view of the lake (at least if you're on the first line). Clean restrooms. The card system is a bit annoying, though. You get one card with money on it to open the restroom doors and access water for showering and washing dishes. So you can only do one thing at a time. Or you have to shower together in the family bathroom and do the dishes there. ;-)

A great campsite! Spacious and clean restrooms (Lego-themed with soft background music). Lots of playgrounds and a pond. Spacious pitches. Friendly service at the reception, restaurant, and shop. The Pirates' Inn is definitely recommended for the breakfast and dinner buffet! Everything, of course, is Lego-themed. Not cheap (around 90 euros per night for a campervan with 4 people), but packages with Legoland tickets are more attractive.

Beautiful campsite! Not cheap, but worth every penny. Very cozy, friendly service, candles everywhere in the evenings, beautiful plants, everything spotless, nice kitchen facilities, plenty of seating inside and out, playground, lounge, and more. The shopping center and Frederiksborg Castle are within walking distance. Copenhagen is easily accessible by train (the station is within walking distance of the campsite and free with the Copenhagen Card). Highly recommended!

I have mixed feelings about this campsite. The pitches are fine. The restrooms are also reasonably clean, though sometimes a bit of a walk depending on your location. You can only do the dishes and cook in the largest unit, so that can be a bit of a distance. There's a swimming pool, but the outdoor pool could use a paint job, and the floor is very rough and therefore dangerous if you fall. Considering the high price, we expected a bit more.

Stayed for one night on our way to Denmark. There's really nothing to complain about. Some pitches might be a bit small, but where we were was fine. Clean bathroom facilities. Beautiful location with a lovely pond.
