We're giving it 1 star because the setting is truly idyllic. You're right on the water, perfect for a wonderful swim. The pitches are very spacious, most of which have a view of the Lot River. The organization is terrible; after a phone call, we were allowed to pitch wherever we wanted. After registering, it turned out this was only for one night. So, this is useless. The bathroom facilities, dishwashing facilities, and water supply are very poor.

What a wonderful place this is, very peaceful and with exceptionally attentive owners. We've been camping for a long time, but this hospitality is unparalleled. The view is fantastic, and the surrounding area is beautiful for walking and cycling. A bakery, supermarket, and butcher are within cycling distance. From the campsite, you can walk to the Tarn in 5 minutes (note that it can be steep). We will definitely be back, because there's still so much to see and do.
Sitecode: 59406
Spacious pitches, good sanitary facilities, and great for cycling. A lovely pool, and you can walk straight to the river. A solid 10 for us.
Sitecode: 78224
A lovely, peaceful campsite with very friendly owners. You can walk to the beach for swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, or canoeing in the Vecht River. We enjoyed some lovely bike rides and walks. The sanitary facilities are adequate. We will definitely be back.
Sitecode: 20739
What a wonderful campsite, peace, green, privacy and water. The sanitary facilities are neat. You can swim, paddle board, walk and cycle to your heart's content. We would love to come again.
Sitecode: 53304
Everything looks neat and the reception was very friendly and smooth. We were assigned a large spot and that for 1 night. Sanitary facilities are outdated, but clean. Good camping for your transit.
Sitecode: 42189
Beautiful location, you can swim, cycle and walk there. Nice campsite to take the boat from Kristiansand to Hirthals. (50 minutes) We only give 3 stars because there are not enough sanitary facilities. The campsite was full with a group and it was a long wait for a shower / toilet. Washing dishes is done by means of hot taps, we have not seen this at any campsite in Sweden / Norway. Seems a bit frugal, while the campsite is expensive
Sitecode: 29335
Way too packed, such a shame. Everything is fine (sanitary facilities, toilet etc.) but it is very commercial by Norwegian standards. Probably because of the beautiful view of the fjord, but that's all there is to it. In addition, it is way too expensive. We would never choose this campsite again.

We were here about 10 days ago. Nice place, on a field next to the campsite. You can use all the facilities that the campsite offers. Fantastic sanitary facilities and friendly helpful staff. we went to Varberg by bike.
Sitecode: 53217
Friendly welcome at this beautiful and clean campsite. The owner is a camper himself and you can tell. Each spot has its own artificial grass, well-functioning electricity and a spacious view. You can walk straight into the forest and you can cycle endlessly. You can swim in the forest lake, about 10 minutes by bike. If you like peace and quiet and birdsong, then this is great.
Sitecode: 72543
We were here mid-October, on our way north. What a lovely place and great for walking. There is absolutely nothing else here so make sure you have enough provisions. Great views over the valley, large pitches and a heated swimming pool.
Sitecode: 26715
Nice place to see the city, we went cycling which is easy to do (good cycle path) and everything is flat. Had a lovely swim in the river, if you like cold water you are in the right place. Furthermore everything tiptop in order and delicious food in the restaurant.
Sitecode: 46676
Nice spacious places, good to visit Lisbon (bus and boat) or to relax on the beach. A lovely place where many locals come to surf. We found it a pricey campsite, but the location makes up for a lot. Nb Clear weather Orbitur, nice helpful staff!
Sitecode: 41187
Lovely green campsite with a beautiful swimming pool, spacious pitches and good sanitary facilities. By bike to Evora is doable (busy) but not far. By bike visited the circle of Almendres, this is a challenge (busy road, then an unpaved road) but definitely worth it. Our experience with the Orbitus campsites are very good, nice places and top staff.
Sitecode: 99579
Great place to visit Faro and Rio Farmosa. From the "campsite" you walk to the ferry, which sails regularly and takes you to Faro within half an hour. Sanitary facilities are fine and staff is friendly. Absolutely no camping feeling, you are standing in a concrete container. (but a very safe place)
Sitecode: 51409
Beautiful places with lots of privacy, good sanitary facilities and hot dishwater. What more could a camper want, besides that the staff was also helpful / friendly. The campsite is centrally located but also quiet, so everywhere by bike. There is a lot to see and there are many quiet beautiful beaches within cycling distance (usually via bike path)
Sitecode: 46679
No fixed places, you can choose what you want. Swimming pool great and well located to visit the beach and the town. Cycling is not a great success because many roads are unpaved/sandy.
Sitecode: 51037
A real surf camping, lots of young people, which gives a nice atmosphere. No hot dishwashing water, sufficient sanitary facilities. Camping spots are just spacious enough, but along a busy road and a busy boulevard. Certainly not a nature camping.
Sitecode: 10003
Unpleasant happening, we were here early October. Good to visit the town (safe via cycle paths to the town) But that's all said.
Sitecode: 40230
Peace, beautiful swimming pool, spacious places. We enjoyed ourselves here in early September and that for 13 euros per night. The area is beautiful for walking/cycling (though tough) Make sure you have enough provisions because there is no shop in the area. Bread service (Portuguese rolls ...) Delicious food in the restaurant wine, water, starter, main and a dessert for 25 euros pp.
Sitecode: 48658
The view is fantastic and you can walk from the campsite straight onto the beach. We also saw dolphins, a beautiful location. Nothing special, mediocre sanitary facilities and the restaurant was closed in September. Cycled to Muros, which was a nice fishing village.
Sitecode: 84192
Nice campsite to visit Santiago de Compostella. Bus is not reliable, so we went there by bike. Sanitary is ok, a bit outdated, but neat and clean.
Sitecode: 61935
Small, green campsite, with friendly owner. River is small but nice and cold to swim in. We had a nice bike ride there.
Sitecode: 10426
Excellent camper place for visiting the city of Bilbao. Staff is terribly busy, so you have to be patient, so it all takes a while. But it is a holiday! Bus stops around the corner and goes very regularly. Recommended, but make sure you are early because it fills up quickly.
Sitecode: 101287
Stayed here early September, a quiet campsite, suitable for transit to Spain. The ground is sandy, the pitches are spacious and there is a lot of privacy.
Sitecode: 57999
We were here at the end of August, as a transit campsite to Spain, but stayed longer because this is a lovely quiet, green campsite. With lots of atmosphere and a really nice swimming pool. During our stay we cycled nicely in the area. We will come back.
Sitecode: 21615
Nice spacious places, sanitary facilities neat but basic. Beautiful location to view the beautiful surroundings (postbank, bronkhorst and the Veluwe) Within walking distance of the dead arm of the IJssel (swimming + supping) Disadvantage is the nuisance of the highway and on / off ramp. (constantly present) Contrary to what has been written before, very helpful managers.
Sitecode: 105581
Share the experiences of the other writers, very natural environment. Swimming in the drôme was difficult because of the strong current. So cooled off in a pool, also nice. You can really enjoy cycling with an ebike. See "komoot" and select "average". You come to beautiful places.
Sitecode: 102650
Wonderful campsite, also suitable for transit camping. Beautifully cycled, also challenging with an e-bike. Then we had a lovely swim. Quiet and relaxed, the pizzas were delicious. We would love to come again.
Sitecode: 59313
The campsite looks very authentic, is beautifully located and also has a beautiful swimming pool. Those are the positive sides. Unfortunately, it is a commercial company, in addition to camping, it also rents out cabins (per night), which does not improve the atmosphere. We don't think this is a campsite a la ferme, so we will certainly not come back.
Sitecode: 64076
What a great place to enjoy nature and go for a walk or, if you are not afraid of cycling vigorously (doable with an e-bike) Delicious meal at the restaurant. A camping spot that is incredibly beautiful. Rare birds such as goldfinches and golden orioles seen.
Sitecode: 23633
Beautiful cycling area, beautifully rural. Owner not so friendly and we were assigned a tiny spot (no discussion possible) Wouldn't go there again.
Sitecode: 59899
Beautiful place for swimming (sandy beach) water has a pleasant temperature. It is also ideal for SUPing. Clear, blue water with a view of the hills. The pitches are spacious, the sanitary facilities are mediocre (when the campsite is full) Many opportunities for walking (it was too hot for us) and if you like challenging cycling you will also get your money's worth.
Sitecode: 50029
We stood in a lovely spot in the shade. Fantastic sanitary facilities and great cycling (63) in both directions. In addition, we enjoyed swimming and SUP in the lake, the water is refreshingly cold. This means that several kingfishers have been spotted. We would like to give 1 recommendation, so that the 4 stars can become a 5. Improve access to the lake for swimming so that the elderly among us have easy access. Make it senior proof.
Sitecode: 101683
This is how camping should be, very large pitches with fantastic views of the Vercors and the Alps. Breathtaking! It is dead quiet at night and if you have ordered a sandwich, it will be at your door in the morning. We enjoyed the walk and the bike ride we made, followed by a refreshing dip in the pool. Pleasant owners, in short, a great place
Sitecode: 30140
Nice campsite to spend the night heading south. For a longer stay, which we did, I list the pros and cons. Advantages: cycling along the Moselle, very quiet (at night you only hear the owl) fantastic restaurant with a small menu but very well thought out. very friendly staff. Disadvantages: Moselle is not suitable for swimming, rows of camping, mediocre sanitary facilities and a lot of Dutch people.
Sitecode: 57738
Beautiful campsite located on the river. In addition to cycling, you can take beautiful walks. We give 4 stars because of the rows effect. This means that the campsite is well organised, if you like that it is certainly 5 stars!
Sitecode: 58043
Great place, very friendly managers. Nice for cycling.
Sitecode: 100011
Unbelievable what a space and privacy. Environment is very good for walking. For us this campsite is a big ten. The sanitary facilities are old but super clean. Thanks Gaby and Gabriel for a marvelous time.
Sitecode: 58439
Small campsite, everything is there. Beautiful swimming pool, large camping spots and tranquility. Super service and a top restaurant, in short, a pearl. And that within cycling distance of St. Mont Michel. You can enjoy cycling in the immediate vicinity.
Sitecode: 84431
Cozy campsite full of beautiful flowers. Close to the Meinweg nature reserve for walking and cycling. The campsite manager is very friendly, we will definitely come back here.
Sitecode: 23382
Make sure you arrive on time so you might have a spot. But maybe better to make a reservation, because it's definitely worth it. Very quiet camping site with only the birds to keep you company. We paid 14 euros per night (2 people, camper, without electricity)
Sitecode: 78361
Beautiful spacious camping pitches with lots of privacy. in the immediate vicinity walked and cycled. The owner is extremely helpful and has lots of good tips. In short, enjoyed.
Sitecode: 60071
Very quiet location, very friendly reception. Cycling to the center of Salisbury is a challenge due to heavy traffic. The grounds are very neat and the view is beautiful. Bread service available, very convenient.
Sitecode: 21477
We got an "emergency spot" next to a bungalow. It is a very spacious and quiet place, where you can sit in the sun all day long. We also join the rest of the other campers.
Sitecode: 13198
Beautiful place to visit Texel. Count on 20 minutes (by bike) including buying a ticket. There are many nice restaurants in the area and beautiful museums. Managers are super friendly and plumbing is top notch. we will definitely come back.
Sitecode: 56599
Very close to the highway without being bothered by it. Beautiful walking and cycling environment (ask for routes at reception) Friendly staff, are so flexible. Restaurant, sanitary facilities and heated swimming pool are top notch!
Sitecode: 61850
Beautiful green campsite with trees and shrubs that ensure that you have a lot of privacy. Sanitary building looks dated but fully satisfactory (clean and tidy) Extremely friendly manager. Unfortunately we were only here for a short time because the weather was very bad, but we will definitely be back.
Sitecode: 28923
On arrival they ask for your passport and car papers. Which you get back when you check out. one is friendly but only speaks Italian. Location is very convenient to the ruins. However, I would never advise this place: very restless at night (loud music + sirens) In addition, rooms were rented per hour. Which caused a lot of visitors at night. Awful!
Sitecode: 8971
Simple campsite, sanitary facilities are available and clean. Reception is open to a limited extent, but you can arrive at any time because there is always someone on a bicycle who can check you in. Nice short walk through the woods takes you to a beautiful bay . The sea is wonderful for swimming, but with snorkeling we have seen almost nothing. Beautiful town of Otranto is easily accessible by bike. Make use of the roads through the olive groves.
Sitecode: 86885
Now in the late summer wonderfully quiet, direct access to the sea. atmospheric and excellent restaurant. Staff is very helpful, we had a problem with the camper. Was immediately called a garage, they came to the campsite themselves. so great!
Sitecode: 58160
Sit comfortably under the trees, relaxed place. Good for transit or extra night.
Sitecode: 58158
Everything you need is here. Besides all the luxury of large places, a beautiful swimming pool and excellent restaurant, there is peace and beautiful nature.
Sitecode: 95705
Everything written below is true. What a beautiful place just off the main road. So don't tell anyone 😉
Sitecode: 41687
Centrally located to visit The Hague. Very nice that the camper place is closed by means of a fence, then you know for sure that your things are safe there. Managers are friendly and helpful. Sanitary is dated, but nevertheless nice that it is present.
Sitecode: 6900
Beautiful nature, lots of privacy. we had a beautiful spot on the lahn under the tall trees. A lot of overdue maintenance (old plumbing, with bad shower) Location is great for cycling and walking.
Sitecode: 84431
lovely chaos here from a mix of art and flowers. in addition, very neat and clean sanitary facilities. again with cute flowers. the place is also really fan-tas-tic! from the campsite directly into the beautiful nature
Sitecode: 73738
top spot! close to town and a beautiful estate within walking distance
Sitecode: 54394
Long weekend camping in the fall. Were assigned a camper place, with an unobstructed view. What a picture. Reception very friendly. About 500 m from the national park, where you can walk. In the winter period there is an opportunity to do the dishes and there are men's and women's toilets. All of this is spotlessly clean. We will be back for sure.
Sitecode: 59837
terrible campsite, with mainly regular camping guests. indeed all wooden shacks. we immediately turned around and are now on a pretty nice campsite.
Sitecode: 60749
we have done all cycling routes. very easy to do with an e-bike. don't forget to eat at the restaurant opposite the campsite. so French, delicious.
Sitecode: 26440
Upon arrival this place appears to be closed.
Sitecode: 19103
Super close to the highway, pleasantly laid out campsite. Although we only stayed 1 night, we still got a beautiful place. Owner is a nature lover and has many walking and cycling routes that you can borrow. Good German restaurant at 5 minutes walking distance. We will definitely be back (several days)
Sitecode: 28710
Lots of shade and within walking distance of the sea. friendly owner. Driven by motorbike to the starting point of the footpath route (12 km)
Sitecode: 70081
You're in the right place if you love pure nature. Have the whole field for ourselves. Owner is extremely friendly / helpful and speaks English. Plumbing is fine! You can swim in the river, it is deep enough in several places.
Sitecode: 40719
Not ready for the season at all. Betonmolen and others construction equipment in the yard. Swimming pool under construction, no hot dishwashing water. Shower was hot. Stands directly along a busy road where you drive really hard. Owner very friendly.
Sitecode: 52985
Very simple camping, good starting point for hiking in the mountains. You can swim in the lake, reachable on foot from the campsite in 15 minutes.
Sitecode: 46587
Nice spacious places in the shade (plane trees and acacias). Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Swimming pool is too small in high season, but before / after season blissful. Nicely laid out with a beautiful garden. Keep in mind that the beach is at least 5 km from the campsite. Plumbing is neat.
Sitecode: 52985
At first glance, the campsite seems a bit messy and simple. However, a spot overlooking the lake is beautiful. Plumbing is simple, but everything is there. In the area you can walk nicely. From the campsite you walk via a footpath to the lake or to the village. Bakery, small supermarket and several restaurants.
Sitecode: 23313
Beautiful campsite with spacious pitches. Very suitable for walking or cycling in the beautiful Bohemian forest. The salt water pool makes it complete, so spacious that you can actually swim jobs. Administrators are helpful, enthusiastic and friendly.
Sitecode: 65137
Very convenient campsite for cycling and or hiking directly from the campsite. Ask the tourist information for free maps. Good sanitary and hot water for washing. Pitches are very moderate, the managers are very full.
Sitecode: 60965
Beautiful place far away from civilization with a magnificent view. We have visited Karlovy Vary via the yellow circular walk. You will pass beautiful viewpoints and historical places. From KV you catch the bus 8 that takes you back to the campsite. Note the departure times. Disadvantage: could not use the restaurant (too busy with parties etc) If you like peace and nature z
Sitecode: 27117
Wonderful place for cycling, walking and swimming in the main. Extremely friendly manager. In short, top spot.
Sitecode: 12109
Fantastic starting point to visit Prague. where you can go by train or bike. you can swim / fish in the Moldau. Eat especially at the campsite, blissful and cheap. Ladies who run the campsite are doing a great job. They speak German / English and are very enthusiastic.
