We're giving it 1 star because the setting is truly idyllic. You're right on the water, perfect for a wonderful swim. The pitches are very spacious, most of which have a view of the Lot River. The organization is terrible; after a phone call, we were allowed to pitch wherever we wanted. After registering, it turned out this was only for one night. So, this is useless. The bathroom facilities, dishwashing facilities, and water supply are very poor.

What a wonderful place this is, very peaceful and with exceptionally attentive owners. We've been camping for a long time, but this hospitality is unparalleled. The view is fantastic, and the surrounding area is beautiful for walking and cycling. A bakery, supermarket, and butcher are within cycling distance. From the campsite, you can walk to the Tarn in 5 minutes (note that it can be steep). We will definitely be back, because there's still so much to see and do.

A lovely, peaceful campsite with very friendly owners. You can walk to the beach for swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, or canoeing in the Vecht River. We enjoyed some lovely bike rides and walks. The sanitary facilities are adequate. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful location, you can swim, cycle and walk there. Nice campsite to take the boat from Kristiansand to Hirthals. (50 minutes) We only give 3 stars because there are not enough sanitary facilities. The campsite was full with a group and it was a long wait for a shower / toilet. Washing dishes is done by means of hot taps, we have not seen this at any campsite in Sweden / Norway. Seems a bit frugal, while the campsite is expensive

Way too packed, such a shame. Everything is fine (sanitary facilities, toilet etc.) but it is very commercial by Norwegian standards. Probably because of the beautiful view of the fjord, but that's all there is to it. In addition, it is way too expensive. We would never choose this campsite again.

Friendly welcome at this beautiful and clean campsite. The owner is a camper himself and you can tell. Each spot has its own artificial grass, well-functioning electricity and a spacious view. You can walk straight into the forest and you can cycle endlessly. You can swim in the forest lake, about 10 minutes by bike. If you like peace and quiet and birdsong, then this is great.

We were here mid-October, on our way north. What a lovely place and great for walking. There is absolutely nothing else here so make sure you have enough provisions. Great views over the valley, large pitches and a heated swimming pool.

Nice place to see the city, we went cycling which is easy to do (good cycle path) and everything is flat. Had a lovely swim in the river, if you like cold water you are in the right place. Furthermore everything tiptop in order and delicious food in the restaurant.

Nice spacious places, good to visit Lisbon (bus and boat) or to relax on the beach. A lovely place where many locals come to surf. We found it a pricey campsite, but the location makes up for a lot. Nb Clear weather Orbitur, nice helpful staff!

Lovely green campsite with a beautiful swimming pool, spacious pitches and good sanitary facilities. By bike to Evora is doable (busy) but not far. By bike visited the circle of Almendres, this is a challenge (busy road, then an unpaved road) but definitely worth it. Our experience with the Orbitus campsites are very good, nice places and top staff.

Great place to visit Faro and Rio Farmosa. From the "campsite" you walk to the ferry, which sails regularly and takes you to Faro within half an hour. Sanitary facilities are fine and staff is friendly. Absolutely no camping feeling, you are standing in a concrete container. (but a very safe place)

Beautiful places with lots of privacy, good sanitary facilities and hot dishwater. What more could a camper want, besides that the staff was also helpful / friendly. The campsite is centrally located but also quiet, so everywhere by bike. There is a lot to see and there are many quiet beautiful beaches within cycling distance (usually via bike path)

A real surf camping, lots of young people, which gives a nice atmosphere. No hot dishwashing water, sufficient sanitary facilities. Camping spots are just spacious enough, but along a busy road and a busy boulevard. Certainly not a nature camping.

Peace, beautiful swimming pool, spacious places. We enjoyed ourselves here in early September and that for 13 euros per night. The campsite looks very authentic, is beautifully located and also has a beautiful swimming pool. Those are the positive sides. Unfortunately, it is a commercial company, in addition to camping, it also rents out cabins (per night), which does not improve the atmosphere. We don't think this is a campsite a la ferme, so we will certainly not come back.

Beautiful place for swimming (sandy beach) water has a pleasant temperature. It is also ideal for SUPing. Clear, blue water with a view of the hills. The pitches are spacious, the sanitary facilities are mediocre (when the campsite is full) Many opportunities for walking (it was too hot for us) and if you like challenging cycling you will also get your money's worth.

We stood in a lovely spot in the shade. Fantastic sanitary facilities and great cycling (63) in both directions. In addition, we enjoyed swimming and SUP in the lake, the water is refreshingly cold. This means that several kingfishers have been spotted. We would like to give 1 recommendation, so that the 4 stars can become a 5. Improve access to the lake for swimming so that the elderly among us have easy access. Make it senior proof.
