Yes, the camp site is old and fairly tired, and the check-in system is unique, to say the least. However, you get what you pay for, and we spent 3 nights here very happily for less than €10 tonight with 10 amps of electricity. The facilities have seen better days, but were cleaned twice a day and had plenty of hot water and the showers had good water pressure. Very short walk to lovely beaches, bars and restaurants. Bus to Porto at the gate.

Definitely read previous reviews re access - there are TWO ways into the camp...one is very challenging...our 6mtr camper only just made it...and we should have taken the alternate route. Julian is happy to advise you, so do ring him. lts a lovely natural campsite... They provide breakfast for a fee, sanitary facilities are clean and modern, and the pool is very refreshing. It's a lovely round walk into town and up to the castle. Great views....

Lovely place to overnight. Clean facilities, good washing machine ( although expensive at €5.00)& a washing line which is always a plus. Easy cycle or walk into the charming village of Burgau, which has great bars and restaurants and a fabulous beach....

This place is NO LONGER for Motorhomes. The council have opened a new place just down the road at Calle Extremadura 17 Ayamonte, Spain 21400 Easy to follow instructions once you are inside the automatic barriers...you have time to leave if you dont decide to stay. £13 a night plus €1.92 electricity. Still very new so lacks ambiance...but thank you to the council for making it avaiable...

Wonderful, friendly campsite in a good position. All services are spotlessly clean and tidy. Great wee shop on site where they bake bread on request - fantastic! Malaga is doable by bike...although there is a direct bus nearby ( for £1.70). Totally recommend staying here.

Fabulous, clean campsite. Immaculate facilities, friendly Manager with good English who is very helpful. 4kws electricity free each day. Excellent wifi - also free. Easy walk or cycle ( on an excellent cycle track that goes for kms) to the beach and a large selection of bars and restaurants. We came for one night and stayed 3.

Great place to stay...well lit , flat and right on the beach. Easy walk to bars and restaurants nearby, lots of facilities - childrens park, outdoor gym ( 3) excellent walking track, cycling and skating track that goes right into town. Toilets and showers on the beach. Unfortunately the council lock the toilets from 7pm till 12pm the next day...despite

Very nicely appointed, new area...will be great when the trees grow. Thanks to the municipality for creating this space for motorhomes.
