A super nice spot by the canal at an unbeatable price. Comparable sites in Switzerland cost between €20 and €50. Everyone brings their own toilets, so if not, it's better not to camp there. The poop in the hedges is disgusting! The result is that municipalities will eventually stop providing such great sites. Waste disposal is free at Rothsee. We'd be happy to come back anytime. Many thanks to the municipality!

Small parking lot right by the lake, toilets available, but we didn't use them because they were buckets that someone else would have had to empty. Very nice environment, very quiet.

Apparently it is all about water supply and chemical toilet disposal. We could not find 2 visible parking spaces. There was only a small parking lot and a hiding, suspicious resident.

£ 5 and you will experience a quiet place with the view of great walks and the Kelpies horses. This place is therefore very worthwhile. In the café next door you will get a free drink the next morning with your overnight ticket. Toilets are open during the day, trash cans are available.

Very nice place with a very pleasant pub / pub. Friendly people in the place and the food was excellent. Great hiking in town and on the beach. SPAR within walking distance.

Very nice, quiet 5 pitches with great views. In the next-door savings market you pay £ 15, which benefit the entire community. For this you can empty the chemical toilet, as well as refuel fresh water and receive electricity directly on the square. Without accommodation, a donation is requested for these offers. Toilets are located about 300 meters away on the harbor area.

Magic place, you have to see. Many animal visitors right around you. Dustbin available. Wonderful view of the Orkney Islands.
