Nicely situated campsite in a beautiful backyard for the residents. No demarcated pitches. Beautifully situated on the edge of the forest. Unfortunately, the highway is audible in the evenings and at night.

A pleasant, friendly, small-scale campsite at the beginning/end of the Pieterpad trail. Good sanitary facilities. Spacious pitches. No play facilities for children. The village of Swolgen isn't particularly touristy and offers few amenities.

It was just fine for one night. A messy place and uninspiring surroundings. An elderly couple runs the six places. £20 with electricity. A nice bike ride to Glastonbury (30 minutes, but away from Swiss cheese). Glastonbury is a lovely, quaint town.

A very neat, small-scale campsite just half an hour from Stonehedge. Excellent sanitary facilities. As a Caravan Club member, it's still reasonably affordable at £33 for a campervan and two people, including electricity.

A lovely, small-scale campsite with a friendly owner. You're essentially camping in her beautiful backyard. The sea view is limited, and the sandy beach is only accessible at low tide via an unattractive path (but at high tide, there's access to the pebble beach at Prussia Cove). Breakfast is available, and pizza or something similar is served a few times a week. Not cheap, but close to St. Michael's Mount and Praa Sands (a 10-minute bike ride).

Lovely, quiet location behind a pub/restaurant. (Delicious food, optional) £25 per night including electricity in high season. Close to the main road to Cornwell with views of the Dartmoor hills.

Beautiful, peaceful spot right on the sea. Perfect for combining with a visit to White Cliffs National Park. A free overnight stay is included with your restaurant visit. Restrooms are available between 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM. The restaurant is good and cozy, but unfortunately, much of the fish is sold out.
