Very nice camper pitch, and free too. The plants still need to grow a bit, but the layout is well-maintained. There are tables and comfortable benches, and you can empty grey water. The town is situated within the fortress walls, full of fun bands and a large clock tower. Patisserie Francois has delicious bread, croissants, and pastries. Everything is within walking distance. Great.

Small campsite. Warm welcome from James, who provides a lot of information. Nearby, you can go canoeing at “Want to canoe”. Beautiful, spacious pitches with lovely views of the surroundings. Neat sanitary facilities. Starting point for many walks, including to Hay-on-Wey.

4.5 stars. Park-like layout, friendly owner. Spacious pitches on gravel with adjoining grass. Neat and clean sanitary facilities. Also within cycling distance of Conwy and Llandudno. Good food at Groes Inn.

The campsite is expensive, £106 for two nights with a camper, 2 people, electricity, and a dog. The location is ideal for walks to places like Mount Snowdon. Beddgelert is a nice little town with various restaurants 3.5 km away. The campsite is signposted as Holiday Parks. The Wi-Fi was of poor quality due to a lightning strike. The Indian takeaway meals are delicious. Very nice sanitary facilities, eight full bathrooms. Spacious pitches in the woods, though we were bothered by midges.

Large pitches with private water and sea views. Choose your own, so arrive early. Grounds are neatly maintained. Sanitary facilities are very outdated but clean, and the price reflects that. £30 for a camper with 2-person electricity and a dog is reasonable. Within walking distance of Aberdaron, a nice town with a large beach.

Campsite for equestrians and pirates; anything goes here. Loud music, the smell of weed, campfires. It does get quiet after 10 pm. Pick your own spot wherever you want, as long as you keep 15 meters away from your neighbors. Finding a nice, flat spot is a challenge. Beautiful dunes and beach. Sufficient toilets; showers only at the reception. NO ELECTRICITY. Only €27.75 for camper plus 2 people plus dog. Due to the tide, the access road is sometimes underwater.

3.5 stars. Very nice welcome. Only one sanitary building open, but a beautiful new building, almost ready. You can choose your own spacious pitch. The elevated pitches have an unobstructed view of the town and the surrounding area. You can take a beautiful 30 km bike ride on the Ystwyth Trail. £30 for a camper with 2 spaces, electricity, and dog.

4.5 stars. We stayed at a spot with a superb view over the bay. Actually, all spots have a sea view, but the view is naturally the best if you are at the front. Friendly welcome, clean sanitary facilities. Grounds well maintained, dog walking area. The beach is only there at low tide. Great starting point for coastal walks. Saint Davids is within walking distance with nice restaurants. The excursion to Ramsey Island is highly recommended.

The campsite is conveniently located if you want to visit Worms Head; you can cycle all the way to the start of the walk in 10 minutes. Spacious pitches, but otherwise a soulless campsite with outdated sanitary facilities. There is, however, a large dog walking area, Pawhalla. The price of £97 for two people with a camper and dog for two nights is actually too high; it is really all about the location here.
