The proximity to the beach makes this campsite so attractive. The pitches themselves are relatively narrow, as is the road through the site. Otherwise, you're well protected from the wind by trees and dunes. Shade is only moderate. I would recommend shopping in town beforehand, unless you're planning a nice walk. The site fills up noticeably in the evening. I highly recommend this site.

We stayed here overnight on July 21/22. This place is perfectly fine for that. I wouldn't want to camp here, though, even though you can spend the night here in a very quiet spot, and it's a lovely spot right on the canal. So I'm only giving it 3 stars.

A very quiet municipal campsite with a restroom, which unfortunately doesn't have any lighting inside. Free greywater disposal; a cassette toilet is no problem. Electricity costs €2 per hour, but you'd have to lay the power cable over the greywater trough, which I find pointless. Drinking water can also be purchased for €2. The other water is free. I can happily recommend this site.
