Nice campsite to stay for a few days. Bar and restaurant on the campsite with bread in the morning. Nice to get coffee and a sweet sandwich on the terrace in the morning. Very friendly and hospitable managers. Murros is a short walk (inland), but a nice village with restaurants. Beach in the bay nearby. Great for taking a rest. NB: Were there with 'San Xoan' (birthday of John the Baptist); local BBQ party at the campsite. Very hospitable.

Nice place to stand for a night. beach nearby. Camino route runs through the village and past the parking lot. Nice to walk along the rock path along the sea. Public toilet at the beach. No further facilities. The restaurant at the beach seems mainly geared towards local diners. Maybe it was the busy Friday evening, but we got the feeling that we had to hurry. The restaurants in the village may be nicer.

This place does not exist or has the wrong coordinates, also via direct search in Google maps. So where those pictures come from is a mystery. Whoever found it: please update. 🙂🖖

Nice parking space on the fjord. Several pubs across the road (one was closed at the time). Good food (local mussels). Breakfast at Purple Bar. Toilet during the day at the wool museum (café); use some, of course. This is a gem for overnight parking.

Great place for a night. There was still one spot. Walk to pub in village (15 minutes walk). Restaurant/pub next to/of the campsite: good food.

Confirm previous reviews from 2023. Despite the fact that there was enough space, we first had to book online via mobile at the counter, then the - incidentally very friendly - lady had to call the central administration to confirm the booking. 😁 This seems to be more common at municipal campsites.

Simple campsite, friendly managers, old but clean sanitary facilities. Anglesey Outdoors is next door. Simple bar (Paddlers Return), where you can get a beer, snack of the day and possibly. breakfast (fine). Good campsite for the boat next day. Grassy areas, not for large motorhomes. Reception: knock 🙂

Nice campsite with good facilities. The main road is a few minutes walk away. There is a bus to Edinburgh every ten minutes. In the other direction is a kind of open-air museum of one of the oldest industrial complexes in the UK. Doesn't seem to work, but interesting. A twenty minute walk (or bus the other way) further is a nice pub, The New Gothenburg, in the town of Prestonpan, with good pub food.
