Great stop, but currently a bit difficult to reach due to roadworks. 49 pitches, but only about 20 paved. Downside: we stayed here for two nights, and in the evening, when several campers plug in, all the electricity goes out until the next day, including the lights.

We received a very friendly welcome. The entrance is a bit difficult to find, but the owner was waiting for us in his van at the agreed-upon time. Everything is there, perhaps a bit basic, but it's there. You park on gravel, and we had a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep. The grounds are gated, so it was nice to let the dog run free for a bit. A pleasant stopover!

Great place to stay, nice cycling environment and a friendly owner. Information about cycling and walking routes available on site.

Well-maintained camper place within walking distance of the center. The lady and the gentleman who replaced the owners during their vacation were super friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities, the showers and the waste disposal point for the toilet cassette were always spotless. A great stop!

Super neat cp and friendly staff. After a walk in the green you are at the Menenpoort and therefore in the center of Ypres. If you want a good night's sleep, take earplugs with you. The Picanol site works day and night with an unimaginable noise. In the places that are furthest away from the site it is okay, but we got (understandable for 1 night) a place at the front and that was quite disappointing.

we left this morning in Koksijde and arrived at 13h00. There was no place for campers at the nearby parking lot, because of a height restriction of 2.1 m on the one hand and the places with headroom were full of cars on the other hand, so you are forced to drive until you reach a location where you are allowed to park....and that was the camper place in Wissant. Returning at 15h30 was no longer an option.

The new parking lot at the sports hall is now finished. At the very back against the dike are 2 quietly situated 7.5 m camper places. It is the ideal base for a cycling or walking visit to the Polders of Kruibeke, discovering the story of the residents of Wissekerke castle and enjoying one of the many highly regarded restaurants on the village square of Bazel. There is no service point provided.

Received by a very friendly municipal employee who explains and demonstrates everything in detail. The cp is being operated by the municipality again after previous poor management and everything is really fine. It is not a green or quiet place but within walking distance of the center and equipped with picnic tables. It is a small cp so count on everything in proportion, e.g. 2 sanitary cells (toilet, sink, shower). The cp has camera surveillance.

We would normally stay there for about 5 days, but due to circumstances it turned into a week. The restaurant is not open every day, but you can pick up every day. The staff and management are very helpful and friendly. We have spoken to several guests who have been customers for more than 10 years and who rave about this beautiful and quiet campsite (in the early season). Too bad the washing machines did not work properly during our stay.

could possibly be a nice campsite, but looks more like a chalet park. We sent an email the day before arrival to reserve a camper spot, but received no response. Once we got there, a guard told us that they no longer allow campers because they have built a lagoon ...

quiet place, beautiful places, spacious and partly paved so you don't get stuck after the copious rain showers we braved there 😄 definitely worth the price, please note, you need your ticket with QR code for entry AND exit, water , etc. so keep it safe... a lost ticket costs 100 euros according to the friendly guard!

You don't always think about it, but there are people on this planet who apparently live against their will or have difficulty behaving normally or simply friendly towards customers and visitors. The grumpy aunt at the reception is one of those, who fortunately is sometimes assisted by a super friendly lady... which brings the balance back a bit to the middle. The great advantage of this campsite is its location.

Ideal for a stopover along the way and only a good 300 m from the Den Dolen brewery for a terrace.

The works are approaching their final phase. It would be ready in May 2024. Quite a beautiful place for a visit to the star restaurant, Hofke van Bazel, the Wissekerke museum castle and a walk or bike ride in the nature reserve the "Polders van Kruikeke"

Currently a construction site and this until the end of April 2024. The future parking lot, with space for campers, is gradually taking shape and looks promising. The location is ideal for discovering the Kruibeekse Polders nature reserve and the beautiful Wissekerke Castle!

the installations may be a bit dated, but the location makes up for it. Right in the dunes and close to the sea of course. Walked along the coast to Le Touquet Paris plage...and back. Ideal for those who, like us, have a dog as a travel companion
